how do one export
There is both a save and export button at the bottom of the menu for extracting your map by various means
Everytime i try and clicked thr culture butten nothing happans
Try refreshing, restarting browser, clearing browser cache. If none of those fix it, I would suggest reporting it as a bug in the discord. Unfortunately it's hard to diagnose a bug from a comment lol, best of luck!
How to create new character?
Not sure if you will see this. But, how do you get the language to show up on the drop down when you add them?
@@tascharahernandez5867 You may need to be more specific, are you talking about when adding cultures? You can click on their associated namebase to bring up the dropdown menu

@@ChairMappingProductions When clicking on an army there should be an "add army" button somewhere - apologies as I haven't checked in a while
I got a question. How do I give a province to another country?
@@Banana-flat-cat There is no button for a direct transfer, you will need to paint over the province with your desired conquering state, the rest is handled automatically in regards to the province name, though it can get messy and may require manual editing to the province name and type.
Hey I just found this tool, making a map of my own. Quick question, once you manually set the urban vs rural population in a state, is there an easy way to redistribute them among the settlements in a way that makes sense? I have things like nomadic orc states I want to have few settlements but large amounts of roaming population, and the opposite in human kingdoms. After I set my Rural and Urban population though it didn't seem to change the populations in the cities of that state.

Under Tools and its subsection Click to Add, there is Burgs. Hold shift to place multiple

It's a map-making software that I used to worldbuild. I played it like a game, but that's not its main function
how to export for website
You can export as png, svg, or jpg that you can upload to a website. If you intend to embed it to keep it interactive, it may require some html/JavaScript coding on your end, and I am currently not super sure how to do that
So glad I could find a tutorial on Azgaar, hopefully gonna try recreating the world from Guardians of Ga'Hoole with this!

For JPG, PNG, and SVG filetypes, you can only import through the heightmap image converter. You can only directly load .map filetypes into the program, which you get when you save your map to machine.

Is it simply not loading or is it too clustered to discern any features? Either way I would say to try Tools -> units -> increase Urban Density

I tried to upload a map but none of them work. What am I doing wrong? What is the file type? I have tried all the standard, jpg png etc.
If by uploading, you mean for the heightmap image converter, it should take any visual format like jpg or png. If you mean to upload a direct file into the program (and not image converting), it needs to be a .map file
How do I embed these cards in the marker notes of Azgaar fantasy maps? Is there a way to make custom character public so that they can be embedded without having to sign in?
I believe copying and pasting the embed link into the notes editor should accomplish the job. Unfortunately I believe you need to be signed in to make the custom characters

I know I late but how do I load a map I saved to my iPhone, I tried but it doesn’t work 😢😢😢
Unfortunately I don't know much about the mobile version. I know it is not recommended to use. However, you could try checking your phone's interior files to find the .map file that was saved. If you saved to browser, then it relies on your browser memory which may behave differently on iPhone

Sorry for the late reply! In Part 1 you can see how I removed everything in the options menu - 0 towns, states, etc. and regen'd the map. You can also just go to the tools menu and regenerate each aspect individually, and it will do so according to the settings from the options menu

How do we add custom labels?
In the Tools menu, there is a button under the "add:" section just called labels. Then click anywhere and it will create a label you can customize
how do i download it after i make it?
Even when you're customizing an individual coat of arms, the Save option in the top bar will still make a download of whatever you have made

It could be the layers, relief and labels (when there are a lot) can generate a lot of lag. Also try different browsers. Chrome can tend to suck at its ram allocation. If it still persists, try asking in the discord
I love this concept so much, I always draw on paper my own map with random country and scenario when I was a teenager
I really like this tutorial, It is organized, short, but not lacking in key details, and leaving stuff the user can easily figure out by themselves to, well, the user.
