So, is there anything we should know before you reset your router, cause I looked at some other videos and apparently you have some routers that will require you to put in your SSID, then you had to put in your IP address and everything and put in the rest of the information for your specific router (which can apparently expose yourself, so you have to do it quickly) and I have read about cases where people didn't know this before resetting and they ended up not having all the needed information and had to contact support to get them setting everything back up, so is that something you have to do for "every" router after you reset? Cause, I have been getting a solid red light on my router lately and power cycling doesn't really help all that much, so I thought about resetting it.
Some of this stuff has to be done by tech and account number. It’s not the dsl days where they had someone at the main hub watching the lines. Now it’s all non monitor and done overseas.
My at&t box connects to the the tv perfectly fine but when i put the correct password in my xbox or iphone it says incorrect password please drop a video on how to fix
also unplugging the device and plugging it back in after 15 to 30 seconds... can indeed help.. it will clear the systems (volatile memory Also know as ram)... sometimes Modems and even routers can get junked up caches that just need to be cleared for the device to work properly.. And when your ISP says they cannot see your device... they don't mean physically they mean the ISP network cannot see your device there for they cannot access it to run diagnostics on... THAT would totally require a tech to come out.. there have been times i've seen disconnected cable modems that are still accessible from our support side But that the customer has no connection at all.. it does happen.. although as far as cable modems you'd be surprised how cheaply some of them are made and Heat can cause ALOT Of issues with Those at or past gigabit speeds
a Friend of mine unplugged her Modem...left her router plugged in and spent 2 hours on the phone with tech support for why her internet wasn't working

Contact the company and have them dispatch a tech. If you have a red light could be a broken line somewhere. Maybe animal chew.

Might just need a new gateway if you have already tried to reboot the gateway and that doesn’t work

Yup agreed. Unplugging and plugging Can help and sometimes does help.
I reset mine and it clears out many issues.
Mine is giving out a signal with it but the signal is bad like Ethernet or WiFi is only like 40 mbps

Maybe. But so does cable and all other dsl services. I have it here and have never had any issues. But I also had an amazing technician
