- After gaining access to a scam call centers CCTV, I decided to give them a scare by telling them their real names.
Thanks to @NeeP94 and @NanoBaiter for helping with the investigation of this video. Also thanks to @theavahoutreachgroup for their assistance.
The fact that Google allows these scam ads to come up at the top of a search list is a crime in itself.
The best thing is to completely skip the first page of any Google search result. Bastards- all of them. Greedy pigs….. TH-cam, Google etc

No. We need more transparency and we need an international entity that can do the job of closing these sorts of operations down. This sort of work should not be left up to individuals. This organisation will now reset all the ip addresses on their network and continue their operation. They should be shut down.

Those scammers are talentless money hungry brats who take it out on people who actually try unlike them. I hate people like that, hopefully one day they’ll get the karma they deserve. Well I'm an "elder one" that still enjoys listening to Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Black Sabbath etc. When I get an obvious scam call I crank Alexa up to very high volume and lay my phone on top of my device.

Amazing that he hacked them, terrible that he tipped them off before the police could get involved. In UK it's a crime to tip off people who are doing money laundering, this hacker could get 5 years in prison, he could have ruined a detailed police investigation. He should have gone to the police first. These guys would have wiped everything before police get there.
@@davidjohn5858 But this isn't in the UK, this is in India and as most of these "hacking scammers" videos show, the police very rarely get involved. I have seen a few cases where they have, but most videos on this kind of topic show that the local Indian police rarely take any action.
Therefore I am more than happy for people to take the law into their own hands, even if the help they provide vctims is only temporary. If you sit around waiting for local police to get involved then nothing would get done.

A friend of mine was scammed out of 6K after a porn film company accused him of illegally downloading porn from their site and they posed as the film company and said that they were going to expose him in court and that he could settle before it went to court, unfortunately he paid them and he's panicking greatly.
My PayPal was hacked 2 years ago for 50k & PayPal tried to say I did it had to get a lawyer to get my shit back.
In the past 4 years I have been scammed out of at lest $10,000 buy several (so-called) girls.

Speechless at your skill level. The first time I got an IRS scam call it was pretty scary. As the call went on I realized it was a scam. Thereafter, I got used the getting those calls so I would make them chase me around and would lie to them until they hung up. It breaks my heart the number of seniors who get wiped out by these animals. Thank you for what you do man! Definitely a fan now.
It’s truly disturbing that TH-camrs are so much more effective and competent at fighting these scammers than the government professionals we actually pay to stop this. That being said, we need to support these scambaiters efforts to the best of our abilities.
Its terrible that governments are not pressuring the Indian government to shut these scam call centres down, the power of the west is unsurmountable, world trade, immigration, tourism, there are so many things that can be done to put pressure on the government to stop these scammers, shutting down Anydesk, I can think of many ways to stop this absurd stealing of billions world wide, bu nothing is being done, not enough.

There should be more freelance investigators and detectives in general, people should be given the power to investigate and solve problems on their own without hindrance and red tape against them by law enforcement or government.

Today we had to go to the hospital for my husband. While we were in the emergency room, next to our bed an old man who was very sick with sugar problems was talking to a social worker. We overheard him saying to the social worker that he was scammed out of a couple thousand dollars. The social worker was telling him that she knew of an old man who was also scammed. He got a phone call from a person who claimed to be his granddaughter and wanted some help with something. Asked if he could send her some money till she got on her feet and she would pay him back. How do you even deal with that. This is such a terrible thing for older people who don't know they are being scammed. I am so pleased with you guys for chasing up these wastes of space to get them shut down. The penalties for these people if they are caught should be maximum jail sentences for what they put these poor people through.
it's a super common one. it's called the grandparent scam. scammers call people then pretend to be a grandchild or other close relative, saying they need money for something like a bond, lawyer fees, criminal fines and so on. anything to make it seem like they need to act fast and start sending money. it's one of the most well known scams out there which has cost people millions of dollars year
Yes... Scammers, especially Scam Bosses, should be stripped of all assets, stripped of their clothes, and thrown in jail. Their assets need to be returned to scam victims.

Man, the government should be hiring you as a contractor on a full-time basis to prosecute these losers. A similar group got 15k out of my mother after my father passed away. I hate these people!
A group like this got my grannie as well and scammed her for $28k. Someone who knew my grannie and one of my aunt's got in touch with my aunt to let her know that my grannie was coming in often and sending money... I believe by money order or certified cheque... my aunt then called my grannie to find our what was going on and after my grannie told her why she was doing this my aunt told her it was a scam and stop sending money. They then went to the police and let them know what was going on, who she was sending money to and how much. Once my grannie stopped sending them money they started calling her and telling her to put a code into her computer that they gave her. One if my uncles told her not to do that because if she put rhat code in it will give them complete access to her computer including her banking information and they could empty her account that way. She wouldn't do it thankfully she knew to talk to my uncle and ask him. The scammers then called her up to 30 TIMES A DAY!!! I spent a couple days at her place to field these calls and one day they called 26 times, another day they called 21 times, then 30 times, then 27. It was insane and these people were relentless. They would scream at me because I wouldn't let them talk to my grannie and demand to talk to her. They'd get even angrier when I would laugh at them and even angrier when I would swear many many MANY times during the 2-3 min call before I'd hang up. Then they'd call right back. It was horrible. Unfortunately the police and the bank were only able to recover $2k for her. It's disgusting that they do this and especially to the elderly and some that are living only on pensions. They told her that she had viruses in her computer and that she needed to send them money so that they could remove them cuz someone had hacked her computer and was putting viruses on her computer every day so she had to pay for each virus that had been put on her computer and they told her that they out 50 viruses a day on her computer. I hope more and more people do what midnight does and expose these a-holes. Getting even 1 person/office to stop is a start. There need to be many more people like him. Anyone that knows how to do this should do it and expose as many as possible.

Imagine scamming an elderly woman in her 70s who just lost her husband! It's heartbreaking to see how easily so many people lose their hard-earned money to these heartless scammers. Does the Ad Blocker works on the TH-cam Website only? Or does it also work on the TH-cam App itself as well?
They also profit from the Google Play cards in the scams. One of the other channels talked about how much the front line scammers get paid (with a couple of diffrent scammers) and I calculated that Google (and the rest) probably make as much of a scam is the bottom rung scammers. I don't think its talked about enough that companies, like Google, profit off of the scams and could probably shut them down if they really wanted to.
Even something as simple as putting a one day time delay on gift cards that are sold in one region and redeemed in another part of the world would stop a lot of basic scams. This one obviously had money laundering services but a lot just use the cards.

It breaks my heart when I hear the victim's sides, because my mother has been one of them. My mother sadly has been permanently scarred as she tried to help a friend who was on the verge of death by cancer, and urgently asked money, and it turns out it was a scammer and she has lost so much money which we tried to follow up with cybercrime, police, and not one soul helped. She is devastated and genuinely gets PTSD from using her phone, where she has to call me for every click she makes.
Whenever I see that someone is getting some healing through your work, it genuinely makes my day.
Scammers are morally bankrupted!! They knew my mom was in her late 70s and working like crazy to come up with all the ‘fees’ they required (5 years of scamming her). Over $400K… finally she had a stroke and lost her ability to manage her own finances anymore, and that was finally the end of scamming my mom. Keep up the good work you’re doing to stop these people from destroying lives. I don’t understand how they can live with what they do!!

Well, it’s hard to believe this, but we knew it was a scam when my mom was only $1200 in. She wouldn’t believe her family though. Partly because she wanted it to be true so badly. Partly because it’s hard for her to admit to mistakes, or that someone else is right. Partly because she was already experiencing cognitive decline. We tried and tried for 5 years to stop her. After 4 years, my dad separated from her so that he could save half of the hard-earned retirement savings they had left. If she had any doubts at any point, I think she felt that since she already had so much invested in this, if there’s any chance at all it’s true, she didn’t want to give up all the money she’d already lost. She didn’t really keep track of how much she gave to them. A few months after her stroke, she guessed that she’d given away about $80K… but, I pointed out to her, she had put a $200K reverse mortgage on her home. It was a very frustrating time for our family to just watch it happen and not be able to stop it. She was the perfect victim… until she had a stroke and her daughter started managing her finances for her. They are evil. They’ve ruined her retirement years. She’s miserable living in a shared room in a small long-term care home, needing help for nearly everything with only her crochet needles to keep herself occupied. I’m SO grateful when good people work hard to stop these crooks from ruining people’s lives.

Apparently, the scammers weren't reported to Indian law enforcement authorities. Others scammers have been, and were prosecuted. The scammers on the video will just relocate and restart their scamming again. They'll learn from this video what mistakes not to make again.

Thank you for your report. You did an incredible job. I was a victim of these scammers as well. They demanded $655, and when I tried to negotiate a lower amount, their attitude shifted instantly. They became furious, threatening that if I didn’t pay immediately, the consequences would be far worse. All had Indian accent.
As someone who suffered from scammers and identity theft, I appreciate and applaud the work you do!

Hey man, I'm from New Delhi India and I was so satisfied watching this. Delhi has indeed become a scam-land at this point in time. Me and almost everyone I know keep receiving such scam calls sounding absolutely professional so frequently now that we've accepted it as a part of our routine now. It's so sad that we've been forced to ask the elderly people in the house to simply not answer calls from unknown numbers; it's easier for them to ignore than being vigilant about the caller's authenticity.

They're not exclusively focused on English speaking countries (US, Canada, UK, etc.) ?
I know that most Indians absolutely despise scammers who as their behaviour (unfairly) reinforces negative stereotypes and animosity towards everyday Indians.

I would say , only few percentage are focused on English speaking countries. now , how they operate ? Scammers often set up legal businesses, pay employees legally, and even pay taxes to appear legitimate. However, they also operate a group that scams people at night to avoid suspicion. Call and chat centre's are abundant in India, with each company typically employing 50 to 100 people.

All official structures cover scammers, so cops are scammers too. I investigated a lot of information, gave it to cops, and they made me to sign papet that I'm not rising anything against them.
They even told that if I sent money to them, then I supported terrorism. Then if they don't do anything against them - they are terrorists too.
Im ngl i was a big scammer on a animated game called msp when i was younger. Ppl use to buy something called ‘vip’ which could cost them up to 100 dollars and i would say things like give me ur password ill make u famous on the game (i was 12😭) they would give me their password and i would put my email on their acc so i could reset the password whenever i like and lock them out. Which i did when they didn’t expect it. I did it to many ppl they made some yt vids about my user to stay away from me. Now i regret it ofc cus they were kids, i was a kid too but growing up u feel more guilty. I couldnt imagine scamming again, so when i see ppl getting scammed esp older people it makes me sad

My 80 year old mother was targeted by scammers. Lucky she didn't give them any money but they really pushed her to get access to her computer. They rung her multiple times and she was getting really upset as they were call all different times of the day including late at night. In the end she brought a very loud whistle and everytime they called she gave them a blast 😁 They stopped calling after about 3 calls. Moral of the story, don't mess with an elderly woman's sleep, things will get nasty.

Whenever they call and when I actually answer, I pretend I don’t understand them. Keep asking questions like I don’t know what they are talking about. They usually end up hanging up! It’s hilarious. I went through this same scam a few years back, but my daughter was home and told me not to buy any
“Program”. She took the phone and said she was actively looking at their actions as we spoke. I no longer talk to anyone who calls and never give my info

its completely fake. u just enjoyed a fake clip. firstly, CCTV are not inside properties, they are only on the outside, the guys in the room are aware of the camera as they keep looking at it non stop. they have access to that camera as they are the ones who installed it.

How about we all become hero's. They are using Google Ad sense, so they get charged everytime someone clicks their links from Googles search page. Their cost per click is about $4. So bring up some private windows and start clicking those links. Drain their account.

The fact that most of these scam call centers are operating out of leasing offices makes it hard enough. As he says in the video these people can setup right next door to legitimate business and if an investigation begins (depending on how successful they are) they'd have enough resources to move somewhere else and just rebrand themselves in a similar location.

This is my guess and I am not saying it's right thing to do but this what I feel how Indian government would be involved. There are many criminals who commit crime in India and then run away to USA or Uk and its almost impossible to get them back in India since they aquire citizenship by investing in companies there and are doing legitimate business there and 'are helping their economy by investing and creating Jobs' , and then these call centre scammers are required by US, when US government asks these scammers to be booked, Indian government would demand their criminals in return. These scammers are used to bring level playing field at negotiation table and yes in both the cases the comman pays the price, it's unfortunate.
