Music from the official soundtrack to Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies. Support the game when it releases on the Nintendo eShop on October 24th, 2013!
Please tell me you do all the little character quirks too, Phoenix with the chin touching, Apollo’s Forehead pressing, and I forget what Athena does but whatever she does lmao
@@patricksanchez1684 hahaha sorry to disapoint you but no, in a real cross examination the idea is to look confident even when your witness mess up (that happens a lot btw)
Somehow, this is the first game where I find the Moderato Theme to be better than the Allegro Theme. This has all the right amount of tension and calm to be taken seriously, but doesn't feel overbearing. Also it's just an ear worm lol.
Absolutely. I don't dislike any of the questioning themes, in fact sometimes they're my favorite songs in the game. I can't say that for any other recurring theme
I completely agree with this. It's simple (when it comes to instrumentation and such), yet so effective (unlike the JFA and T&T ones, they really fit but are far more complex than this one, although this proves a little track can do just well!)
This theme is ok at first, you probably don't even take notice to it. But as you progress through the game, goddamn does this CE theme grow on you. Especially once the Allegro version hits. Second best cross-examination theme, AJs just has no competition but DDs is fantastic.
i really like this theme too, but for me nothing can replace allegro 2001/2002. 2001 is really tense and really feels like diving deeper into the rabbit hole, while 2002, ESPECIALLY in farewell, my turnabout really shouts ‘it’s all in your hands now, there is no turning back.’
Now that I return to this song with a better perspective, I'd say that I feel it alternating time signatures, but it likely would be notated in 7, as switching time signatures that often would be impractical and confusing.
Relyt Llih I don't know much about the topic but, could that be why I found it so difficult to hum? I get the notes on the wrong time... It's fun because it's catchy but I just can't hum it...
Gabo2oo That's probably it. 7/4 is difficult because the beat is in typical four measure, but in irregular amounts as a whole. It's a very odd, irregular signature that almost feels like it has false starts/glitches in the notes. It's a cool beat, but hard to pick up and play.
Relyt Llih 4/4, 3/4, and 2/4 songs can be good, and there are a ridiculous number of them out there that are incredible. But I've found that some of the best songs have time signatures like 7/4, 23/8, 12/8, etc.
The name "Candice Arme" lives rent free in my head lol. Also fun fact: Even though Candice appears in the first case, she is chronologically the last victim of Dual Destinies.
*Objection!* You're clearly lying. Remember how sick poeple usually both cough and sneeze? *Smiles confidently* However you only seem to to be coughing and blaming it on a disease, trying to trick us with your emojis. How do you explain that? Judge: My, my, very weird indeed. *looks pissed* Now tell us the entire truth this time!
@@A7x_Forever Objection! *desk slam* What do you mean, "usually"?! You have basically made it sound as if there IS a POSSIBILITY that he could of just coughed instead of sneezed all the time!
I’m sorry but I really only find the dual destinies ost okay, I wish they went more of a PL V PW or DGS route, I can’t exactly explain why, but it feels off to me
As a lawyer, i use this theme when i study my cases no joke it helps a lot
Yoo
Hmm
Nice, keep it up!

OMFG I just actually found someone who likes Ace Attorney and Mass Effect and Ghost Trick and watches Let’s Dub project 0_0
I must be in heaven^^
Best cross examination ever
I always have a Ted Tonate's testimony in mind hearing this theme
And glasses noises
Forever stuck in my head

In Justice we trust! this theme gives me too many feelings!

We should've known this was a sign for THAT case...
In fact I’m on the side of JUSTICE. Boy am I late
What makes me sadder is that Bobby was a real person. That bubbly, innocent man was real. BUT HE WAS KILLED THAT WHOLE TIME!!! WHY?!
Somehow, this is the first game where I find the Moderato Theme to be better than the Allegro Theme. This has all the right amount of tension and calm to be taken seriously, but doesn't feel overbearing. Also it's just an ear worm lol.
I liked JFA’s moderato more. Actually I really like the moderato a lot while I sorta dislike the allegro.
Judge: What is that?Tonate: This is the HH-3000, AKA a bomb.*prosecutor Payne, the judge, and Athena hid themselves A.S.A.P*

@WizardGaming 2XX he always rises from the ashes
@@ImagineGamingPlay Character development much? XD To think this guy used to hide from furio tigre
@WizardGaming 2XX he got hit by a car and got flung but only got a sprained ankle or something like that
This gives an AWESOMELY DARK atmosphere to this game~
(The way she makes him sound, you'd think Apollo was some kind of ancient god...)
(Oh, wait...)
With the amount of times I'm going to press and hear "Hold it!" it may as well be an interrogation
they didn't have any obligation to bring an organ into a bunch of the tracks of this game. but they did. and it's awesome.
The Moderato Cross Examination Theme is one of the few themes they absolutely nail in every game! It just fits perfectly every single time!
yeah if they made a bad one you would be stuck listening to it for like 50% of court
Absolutely. I don't dislike any of the questioning themes, in fact sometimes they're my favorite songs in the game. I can't say that for any other recurring theme
One of the best Moderato themes
In 7/4 time. Leave it to Ace Attorney to have some crazy time signatures!
This gets stuck in my head when I do online exams.
Whooooa! These little bells in the background make the theme even more mystifying *.*
ALL YOUR LIES ARE BELONG TO US!
AAAAA This is so nostalgic to me, I gotta play this again.
I completely agree with this. It's simple (when it comes to instrumentation and such), yet so effective (unlike the JFA and T&T ones, they really fit but are far more complex than this one, although this proves a little track can do just well!)
Broocevelt I would argue that along with jfa this ones pretty complex. The 7/4 and the placement of the bass line
@@fishdinners7760 Yea, that time signature was a bit hard to notice at first lol.
This is one of my favourite songs from the game! Actually, last night I couldn't get it out of my head!
How about now?
It has been 4 years is it still stuck
best cross examination

Second best cross-examination theme, AJs just has no competition but DDs is fantastic.
What about JFAs Allegro CE I think that’s the best
@@gavinloewe3647 I prefer T&Ts Allegro
With AJs and DDs tied for Second

I really disagree. This really pails in comparison to most Ace Attorney cross-examination themes. It’s so weird, uncatchy and unmemorable.
I just love how this music enhances busy witnesses
The 7/4 time signature seems to break down into a 5/4 and a 2/4. The track starts off with a 2/4 pickoff. Anyone else hear the same thing?
+Haste Two I don't remember this being in 7/4. Now, for the Allegro variant...
Definitely 7/4 I was arranging this theme for Violin Duet with my friend, we kept listening to it to get the correct time signature
It's not in 7/4. It alternates 4/4 3/4. There's a 1 beat after four beats.
+0ongli I agree with 4/4 and 3/4 alternating. It separates the main melody from the bass/strings response.
Now that I return to this song with a better perspective, I'd say that I feel it alternating time signatures, but it likely would be notated in 7, as switching time signatures that often would be impractical and confusing.
The music in this game is op
Gonna learn this sh*t on piano :D
Good luck with that 7/4 time signature
Lol
@@loganconover4700 oh yeah, that shit is hard
Good luck by the way RTA07
After 7 years did you learn it?
Love it!!! One of the best cross-examination themes in the series!
What is the timing of this song? 7/4?
Indeed it is. Quite an odd signature, to be sure, but damn is this song and its Allegro version catchy.
Relyt Llih I don't know much about the topic but, could that be why I found it so difficult to hum? I get the notes on the wrong time... It's fun because it's catchy but I just can't hum it...

Definitely 7/4, but it's in my opinion a 4/3 or a 4/2/1 feel, and I'd probably write it as that instead of 7/4. It's an amazing song nonetheless.
I love the bass in the background at 0:53. Those notes go from high to low are soooooo good sounding

I was surprised how much I liked this theme.

The name "Candice Arme" lives rent free in my head lol. Also fun fact: Even though Candice appears in the first case, she is chronologically the last victim of Dual Destinies.
Ashley Antoine I believe this is set in 7/4, hence the oddly-sounding beat and strange division. :)
I cant listen to this without yelling Silence! in my mind
Sounds really like an interrogation.
Ah man, that sounds beautiful, thanks for uploading these pal =D

Interestingly, no one has pointed out that the main melody in the OST version has an extra instrument added that you can't hear in-game
