I realized that the title of the game is supposed to have a double meaning after finishing it. At first I thought that "Spirit Of Justice" was referring to the Kurai'In law system. But it was in fact a reference to the last spirit you use in a divination seance to resolve the last case is literally the Spirit of Justice because it's the spirit of Jove Justice.
That's actually really cool as a second meaning~ I always thought it was refering to the "fighting spirit of Apollo Justice", perhaps its three meanings in one
I just love this game so much. The gameplay is twice as long, Apollo's character development is just on point, and the new characters are just lovable with a twist you wont expect miles away. Best AA so far imo
"Twists you won't expect miles away" If this is what you genuinely think then we need to assess your IQ because it's incredibly subpar. My attention to detail is nowhere near on-point, but every singe twist in the final trial - EVERY SINGLE ONE - is something I puzzled out before the final trial even took place. Based on what Dhurke tells you in the detention center about what happens in the tomb it's obvious that someone had to have killed him and channeled him (Though I'll admit I didn't expect that he was long dead before even entering the tomb) and from there it's easy to work backwards and find out that Nayna is Amara and Amara is still alive.

Pursuit ~ Casting Magic is still my favourite but this is my second place for sure. It's so powerful and energetic without using the obvious methods of a loud thumping kick or bassline. It's energetic by sheer energy and sounds full by using little flourishes.

He got better here than he got in his own game. Apollo justice is honestly more of Phoenix’s game than Apollo’s as the main story revolves around kristoph and Phoenix, not apollo. He’s more of an errand boy in AJ which is kinda sad. That probably why serenade and corner exist, because the main story in trump and succession is waay more about Phoenix than it is apollo and he needed his own cases
This is a great piece. When I listen to it, it feels like someone is giving me a pep talk, like saying. "You've got a lead on. You can go through it from here!" It lifts the spirits.

It's my favorite pursuit theme, largely because it really nails the pursuit aspect. While Apollo Justice's pursuit theme is really good as a track, it feels more like a resolution, while most of the time, pursuit plays in the final stretch, when you still need to make those final points to cement their case. That being said, all of Phoenix original themes will always stick with me. They're noticeably less "full" because they're more simple but they're still great.
Not really. Every single twist in the final trial is something you can and should be able to puzzle out before the trial even takes place. All you need to do is work backwards from the obvious conclusion that Dhurke is dead and you'll find them all.

Yes but no, it still has that ace attorney vibe to it but I see what you mean, this song is aggressive like GK2 BUT that's the point. In this game it's mainly apollo's insane back story aside with athena or phoenix, it's like apollo's vibe which in my opinion is aggressive but also with phoenix's being hard hitting and those two vibes basically got fused together in this song.

Physical is Japan only unfortunately. The 3ds is region locked (unless you've hacked it) so it wouldn't even work if you tried it on a US/EU 3ds anyway. (Plus no English translation)
This version of Cornering Together is the only one I've heard on TH-cam so far that has the extended intro. I'm wondering which one is considered the "Official" version?
From what I can tell, the "extended intro" is actually taken from the loop of the variation. Officially (and in-game), the standard version has the 4-bar intro and loop while the variation has the 1-bar intro and 8-bar loop. I have no idea why they chose to do that, but that's the way it is.

Who hates this game??? This game is one of my absolute favorites. The soundtrack alone is one of the best, but man, that story. My heart couldn't take it. All the more reason why the final beatdown was darn satisfying.
