Welcome to DFW, Susanne, and Jeb. You chose a great time to be here, before the winter storm that we have been dealing with. The lounge looked excellent. Kudos to Capital One, the staff, and DFW. Safe Travels.
This looks like such a great lounge, great food, great views, great seating, everything a lounge needs! I've got to try this out someday when passing through DFW. Thanks for the video jeb and I hope you and Suzanne had a great time. Cya in the Lounge! 😄🛫👍
My home airport! I absolutely love it! You gotta do an Airports revealed! It’s such an amazing, massive place. And during a winter storm like we just had down here. It’s impressive that they had the infrastructure down here in the south for that event to get runways open, and actually get a decent amount of planes in and out!
I agree! I hit quite a few large airports and DFW is so easy to navigate! Been known to grab a cuppa and do a roundtrip on Skylink for a bit of sunlight and fresh air.
Great lounge. We were just there last week with the family on the start of our trip. First time in a lounge since we have the capital one venture card which gives you 2 passes a year. Great food and amazing views. Totally agree that the staff were fabulous.
I was there two weeks ago for a four hour layover it was awesome, this was my first time ever in any lounge but the experience was nice...the food was great as well as the views...the to go sandwiches were excellent...cant wait until my next journey....gonna try to connect thru DFW the next time i travel!!
I've always enjoyed your content, and you just keep making more for me to watch! One of my favorite videos is the Emirates 777 first-class seat (can't remember when you uploaded it but it's been a fair while since then), and I usually watch it before I go to sleep.
Totally worth it! Having the card is a definite plus as you get unlimited access at no fee, on top of that you get priority pass to other lounges around the world.
Love this video Jeb! So cool to see the Capital One Lounge also love seeing those views of the action from the lounge! Super cool, can’t wait for the Capital One Lounge to open in Detroit (DTW) coming 2024… 👍🇺🇸😎
I love the content Jeb. Found you about 3 weeks ago And I’ve been watching your entire catalog so Thanks. I’m learning a lot and it’s Very informative for my current and future travels. 👍🏼
As a Capital One QuickSilver One card holder who doesn’t travel all that much, I would not hesitate at all to use $65 of my accumulated cash back to pay to use one of these lounges on a layover. (Only Venture X, Spark Miles and Venture card holders get complimentary access.) I will probably start scheduling extended layovers through airports with a Capital One lounge, actually. 🤣
Looks very nice. Much more spacious than the tiny cramped crowded centurion lounges; and the food quality seems to be on par, dare I say in some cases even exceeding the tiring old food menus offered by Amex. Looks like Capitol One is really working hard to transition away from the sub-prime lender image; and is getting serious in competing with Amex to attract higher end consumers. Kudos to COF, we only benefit when corporations compete for our business.
Im a cap one card holder and will try to convince my girlfriend to access it while we layover in dfw 😂. I appreciate the legwork put in to review this lounge!
I think this lounge is a super nice perk to have with their credit card but I'm not sure I'd personally pay $65 for a single trip to the lounge. Just seems like I could've gotten a much nicer meal out in the terminal for that price, and I'm not sure the slightly nicer chair is worth it.
I somewhat agree, although if I had a longer layover I may think it money well spent. A few meals, drinks and avoiding the general public in the airport for several hours may be money well spent on occasion.
Between these new lounges and the Capital One Coffee Cafes opening up, they are finding a new and creative ways to lure in travelers with discretionary spending. I'm hearing good things about the new Venture X card. My general rule of thumb is I choose lounges for layovers more than 3 hours. I recently enjoyed the new Alaska lounge in SEA and loved it.
Awesome! I will have to check this out next time I go through Dallas. Next time you're at George Bush international airport in Houston, can you please go underground and check out the WEDway people mover? I'm hoping to see that in a future video from you.
Several Capital One credit cards offer lounge access, including the "No Annual Fee" Walmart Rewards Mastercard. However, a $65 entry fee for two people is quite reasonable and I suspect you were undercharged. Another benefit, should this lounge show up at more than three airports, is SPACE! I have Priority Pass and their affiliates are often packed and one CAN be placed on a waiting list for entry! Secondly, some have time limits which further reduce their usefulness. I have a few CapOne cards, so next time I wander through DFW, I'll check that Club out.
I just apllied for the venture x card lastnight and got approved for 20k with a fico score of 771. I have most of their cards, savor one, regular quicksilver and a regular checking and savings account. For those wanting to know what annual income i added was 90k. Not sure if that matters but just wanted to add that in there. Also my credit history is fairly still new. Opened my first credit card here back in 2019
Great vid Jeb. Just the fact that you can PAY to get in, with no strings attached, will get me in there on my next DFW trip... And l say that as a fairly loyal DELTA customer, who was recently denied access to the lounge at KSLC, despite flying Delta that day, AND being a Skymiles Member WITH a SkyMiles AMEX card...😒 They don't even offer a day rate...
Great video Jeb! I think it might be worth it if you get there soon enough to enjoy it. I think the seating is so,so compared to the Delta Sky Clubs in terminal A and B at ATL and the Sky Club in DTW. But the food offering here looks way beyond what Delta offers (mainly Pre-COVID). And yes the food to go option really helps out. I will consider this if I fly into or out of term D at DFW!
Jeb, it was super cool to see on on tv the other day. You are famous now. The food looked great, I would have to have a steak to make it worth $65.00. No alcohol for me.
I want to go simply because how awesome the staff is that you described. A CEO once told me, it’s the people….that was awhile back, but his words remain true today.
That takeaway, by itself, is worth a day pass whilst flying economy. Great concept, and I hope more shared-space lounges emerge like this in the coming years.
How can you possibly pass up a gorgeous view of the tarmac while sipping a silly drink in a fabulous chair? This is a primo modern era experience. Who even needs the flight?! I wonder if you can book an event there?
Yes, I’ll pay the $65. If you throw in the drinks its a bargain. Less crowds, nicer staff from what you said…I’m all in. Plus you can take food to go??? When are they coming to Detroit?????
New subscriber and new aviation geek , and hoping you would do a finnair review..? I’m going there in March and hoping to see your review . Thanks for helping fuel my new hobby:)
I signed up for the Venture X card at least partially to get access to the new lounge coming at Dulles. Can't wait to see if it lives up to this one. As much as I'm glad you got to experience and review it, I do kind of wish it wasn't open to the general public as I worry it will get crowded like every other lounge I've been to recently.
The new Capital One Venture X is the card to get if you are into lounge access with a “modest” annual fee. It also provides Priority pass membership for up to 4 different authorized users.
Just get the Venture X if you live in any of the Ds... You can still use its priority pass to regardless of where you are. Sign up bonus is nice too and so are the overall card benefits.
Great content. Do you know of a solution for what to do when you are stranded at DFW due to plane maintenance for 8 hours and its not worth going to a hotel?
Are magazines and newspapers on offer? I did not see any in the video. I do like the take away food offerings in case of skimpy offerings on an ongoing flight.
Thank you for the review. I discovered you for your railway adventures. Do these special clubs with those amenities exist on railways? Thanks for sharing!
Amtrak has a lounge network, but the amenities and quality vary a lot. With pretty much any railway lounge, the primary attraction is just a place to sit away from the homeless people, and possibly some light packaged snacks and soda/coffee/tea. The problem is that people in Sleeping Cars pay the most money for their tickets, but it's not really considered a First Class product, and the passengers are expecting comfort/relaxation more so than luxury. These passengers are very very different from the ones who paid $150 instead of $30 for Acela First Class. New York Penn has a beautiful new Metropolitan Lounge in their Moynihan Train Hall that has a cash bar and food options. It is somewhat comparable to a United Polaris or American Flagship lounge. Chicago Union Station similarly has a beautiful new Metropolitan Lounge, although I would say this one is closer to an Admirals Club or United Club, with a less premium design. (This is likely due to it not serving Acela First Class) During peak times there should be some fresh snacks, and possibly limited alcohol for purchase. This lounge actually has shower suites as well- which is my favorite amenity by far. Boston and Washington DC have "refreshed" their old Club Acela lounges with more contemporary furniture, which masks but cannot conceal the old design from the 90's. DCs has no windows and is claustrophobic. United uses very similar furniture at some of their new beta gates in DEN and ORD. It's not premium in any way, and there are just packaged snacks and a soda machine. Philadelphia also refreshed their furniture, and managed to actually make it look kinda like a 4-star hotel lobby- nothing too fancy but all together it looks well done. Los Angeles and Portland have more traditional Metropolitan Lounges with older designs and furniture. These are "comfortable" and homey for Sleeping Car pax- not premium. Again, only snacks and soda. New Orleans, Minneapolis, and St. Louis have unstaffed private waiting areas, which nothing that fancy. I recall New Orleans had a water cooler and a coffee pot, not sure about the others. Sleeping Car and Acela First class passengers (either arriving or departing on that day, not necessarily to/from the same station) as well as ticketed Amtrak Select Plus and Select Executive elites have access to the lounges/waiting rooms network-wide. Business Class is acceptable only outside of the East Coast. (It's entirely different outside the East Coast, with 1-2 recliners) Chicago also allows frequent commuters to/from Milwaukee to wait in the old underground Metropolitan Lounge, essentially as an unstaffed waiting room. Brightline has a lounge for their Premier class, which is apparently very contemporary/modern, but not really heavy on amenities either. Internationally, train lounges have incredibly strict access rules, and very limited services. It really is just having somewhere to wait.
In simple terms you either get unlimited access with two guests free of charge or you get access twice a year and you can pay the special price of 45 bucks after those two visits
If you have 2 or more hours layover I think it be totally worth $65 ... I use to fly every 3 to 6mo for work I got say I've waited well over 45min to a hour for bar sitting to open up and then it's noise and everything... I would happily pay $ 100 for a Quiet please to sit and charge my phone + you got free food and drink included.. yes please.. now most likely I would say if I got less then a 2 hour layover then I'll probably risks it and just chill at the Gate... but what a lovely new choice to have at DFW Airport...
The food, the amenities, the showers, the meals, the coffee - absolutely worth the $65. I will be there next month.
You can get it for free if you have a revolut account
The chicken salad is “on point” 😂😂. Great review! haha

@A Grumpy Old Man Yeah, the airport has modernized beautifully since then! It’s incredible!
This is my home airport too and I agree, he needs an Airports Revealed on this!
Great lounge. We were just there last week with the family on the start of our trip. First time in a lounge since we have the capital one venture card which gives you 2 passes a year. Great food and amazing views. Totally agree that the staff were fabulous.
I think it’s definitely worth the price. And if anything it should be way more than what it costs right now. It’s a real steal.
The background music makes me wanna start a rave. Thanks for the videos!
Definitively worth it. I'm now considering traveling through DFW for future trips. Thank you for another great video.
I love the positive approach you have on every video. See yo in the lounge!
Well worth the price just for the experience. The food and cocktails looked great!! And it was obvious you both really enjoyed it!!
Thank you for the high quality content.
You never disappoint,Jeb.
Keep it up.
I was there two weeks ago for a four hour layover it was awesome, this was my first time ever in any lounge but the experience was nice...the food was great as well as the views...the to go sandwiches were excellent...cant wait until my next journey....gonna try to connect thru DFW the next time i travel!!
The “Don’t Call me Shirley” sounds like one serious drink!
Thanks for making this video. Was interested in how it looked!
Best video jeb!!
LOOKS AMAZING! I desperately want them to open one in BOSTON
That would be nice.
I've always enjoyed your content, and you just keep making more for me to watch! One of my favorite videos is the Emirates 777 first-class seat (can't remember when you uploaded it but it's been a fair while since then), and I usually watch it before I go to sleep.
Amazing video Jeb! This is what the Admiral Clubs at DFW should be!😸
65$ all the beer you want and chicken salad sandwiches to go plus a shower and cocktails? Wow!
Free with a venture X! They announced DCA,LAS,and LGA for more lounge locations along with DEN,IAD
Yes I'd definitely pay the $65 to relax in this lounge
Totally worth it! Having the card is a definite plus as you get unlimited access at no fee, on top of that you get priority pass to other lounges around the world.
capital one has done it. thanks for showing it to us jeb im from seattle and i love ur vids :]
I was in this very lounge yesterday on my 5 hour sit time at DFW and OMG it was heaven. AMAZING ramp views and the food and drinks were fabulous!!!
Saw these lounges announced a few days ago.
Was hoping you would review 1, perfect timing 👏🏾👍🏾
Clicked like on comment.
Excellent!
The Capital One Venture X is a fantastic card and I highly recommend it if you're often in one of the airports they've announced
You should review the first Chase sapphire lounge once it opens in BOS this year, it looks like itll be nice
Love this video Jeb! So cool to see the Capital One Lounge also love seeing those views of the action from the lounge!
Super cool, can’t wait for the Capital One Lounge to open in Detroit (DTW) coming 2024…
👍🇺🇸😎
Love the content man keep it up
That is one impressive lounge! $65 definitely seems worth it for the quality.

Jeb,
Thanks for all your great videos.
Yes, the price for entry into CapitalOne lounge is worth the price.
Yes definitely worth the price. Coming here to relax, eat, drink and then food take away for the flight is worth it
Looks really nice
Dfw is one of the best. Thankful I live near it.
Except when it snows even a little bit. My flight to there was cancelled 3 days in a row since you guys can't get your act together
Dallas the best
Im a cap one card holder and will try to convince my girlfriend to access it while we layover in dfw 😂. I appreciate the legwork put in to review this lounge!

Jeb as always a great vlog
Jeb u can write off that fee as a business expense can’t u ?
Keep up the good work Shirley n Suzanne !! haha..

Yep, that is a really nice idea, as long as people don't take advantage of it and then it gets stopped.
How can you possibly pass up a gorgeous view of the tarmac while sipping a silly drink in a fabulous chair? This is a primo modern era experience. Who even needs the flight?! I wonder if you can book an event there?
Looks really good. I'd pay that for what's on offer. Pouring your own beer is worth it on its own. Three meals too? Definitely.
Just ordered this card so I can indulge in this before our vacation to Mexico.
Awesome. Have fun.
Sounds & looks great. I'd pay the $65 for access to start an adventure!!
Quite expensive to get into a lounge unless you fly First Class on American full price which is twice as high. Let me know if I'm wrong. #aviation.
Yes, I’ll pay the $65. If you throw in the drinks its a bargain. Less crowds, nicer staff from what you said…I’m all in. Plus you can take food to go??? When are they coming to Detroit?????
Will be at DFW today and with 50 minutes to catch a connection in terminal D, maybe I can visit this lounge quickly and grab some of the takeout bags
Fantastic buy foro 65.00
I'm here for the design of the lounge! How would you rank this in comparison to the Centurion Lounge at DFW?
WOW! That's gorgeous!! Oh yea, I'd pay $65.00. It's worth it!!!
This is definitely one of the premier lounges in the US and maybe a top 10 for lounges around the world.
New subscriber and new aviation geek , and hoping you would do a finnair review..? I’m going there in March and hoping to see your review . Thanks for helping fuel my new hobby:)
Fantastic Video!
$65 I'd say is well worth it!

Do you Cap one trying to get people to sign up for those cards? May not be so great once they get everyone hooked.
You had me with the draft beer

JB with the Datejust!
Thank you for the video.

loved the beat
Great content. Do you know of a solution for what to do when you are stranded at DFW due to plane maintenance for 8 hours and its not worth going to a hotel?
Awesome video.
I can’t wait to try out these lounges
Are magazines and newspapers on offer? I did not see any in the video. I do like the take away food offerings in case of skimpy offerings on an ongoing flight.
Would I have time to visit the lounge if I have 1hr and 30min layover? Flying with AA thanks for the video I really need to check out this lounge lol
Yay a new video
Look awesome but will the food quality and top notch staff be maintained after a while ???
at $65, it's a no brainer for everything you get in that lounge. a bottle of water at EWR costs $16!
Nice but only one location. Don’t know when Denver is going to open one.
Thank you for the review. I discovered you for your railway adventures. Do these special clubs with those amenities exist on railways? Thanks for sharing!

@@john40539 Great information. Thank you!
Love seeing DAC roll by rear sight
Amazing video! Are you also gonna fly Copa Airlines?
Dude good hair my man!
Thanks Jeb!
Was there on Friday. It’s really a superior lounge
I now have a reason to keep my capital one card!
Great videos Jeb. I would pay $65.00 for the lounge.
Hope they bring one to SEA in the future. Until then, that Alaska lounge in the North Satellite will do just fine!
Yes, NQA!
In simple terms you either get unlimited access with two guests free of charge or you get access twice a year and you can pay the special price of 45 bucks after those two visits
Jeb, how would you compare it to Alaska’s flagship lounge in N gates?
Can you do dtw it’s my home airport please
I have to book a flight there on the way to San Antonio where my sister lives so I can check it out.
