6 years since I retired, in another city, but I went through DFW enough that it’s all still as my mind pictures it. That candy store was the temptation I couldn’t resist.
Hi Chris. Thanks for the walking tour. DFW is a big airport. Years ago I had to catch the monorail from one end to the other to catch my flight. Luckily I made it in time. 😅Take care.
Thanks for this video! It's fun to see the updates in the D terminal. FYI if you have a long layover in DFW at another terminal, and don't have lounge access, hop on the skylink to the D terminal. It's quick, has more food choices, and interesting art instillations. Then, hop back on the skylink to your departing terminal. Much more pleasant layover.
The last time I was in DFW terminal D, or DFW for that matter, was in October 2020. I was surprised then that many places were actually open then and it appears that it hasn't changed that much. Also the crowd looks pretty much the same as it did back then in the COVID days.
This is such a great walk through. Last time i went i only walked to my gate bc I only had about an hour before connecting and even then I was practically running so i didn't have time to walk around explore it. I stuck pretty close to my gate.
That terminal looks really nice! I've flown to DFW a couple times in the past few years, but I don't remember going into Terminal D at all. I'll have to check it out the next time I fly through there and have some time!
As an Australian, I find it scary I could almost find my way around the D gates with my eyes closed. Somehow, on almost every trip I'm there. Thank God for the Centurion Lounge.
DFW is a City with an airport. 😂 Once I got sorta lost in there and ended up desperately racewalking a marathon not to lose my flight. 😅 P.S. I wonder if I pass under the O in the JOY, without bending?! ;)
Too bad you weren't in Terminal C. They have a Shake Shack there :) I point it out because Shake Shack locations are a bit scarce; funny that they have it at the airport. So scarce that I'm unable to fulfill my addiction! Then again, you have 3 or 4 in San Diego.
Terminal D is the most modern of the terminals at DFW. The train is new and nice addition. The other terminals are awful if you are a local and drive to and park at the terminal with luggage. They do not have elevators or escalators. Very annoying.
@@robertolebron2296 The train is a few years old and it is inside security. The previous train was old and rickety and outside security. Inside security you had looooonggg walks
DFW is probably the airport i have been to the most outside of my own airport. I like it and riding the skylink is fun too.
I have been to DFW Airport more than any other airport. It's also my favorite. I love it.
I will be in Dallas later this year
I’m flying from DFW to NRT in June via JAL and I wouldn’t have been able to make it possible without your Japan videos
Awesome Mude! Happy to help!

Whew! 😀
YES, DFW is crazy....huge

Great tip!
Terminal D is my favorite at DFW!!! Thanks for the info + video!
Thanks Jimmy!
I know DWF very well. Love it when I'm there.
I live 15 minutes away from DFW, wish i could have met you.
One of my favorite airports to walk.
Great exercise between flights!
I have been in this terminal yesterday !!! I really enjoy it for some reason haha
That's awesome!

Nice video thanks. I have not been there in a long time now
Texas!!!
My hometown airport. It’s huge!

Yeah. It's worth a visit if you have a long layover
How was the AMEX lounge crowd that time of day?
Packed!

Nice video Chris. Looks a huge airport
Thanks Claire!

Good exercise! 😀
Thanks for review of the airport 😊
My pleasure 😊
Is it kid friendly? As in, are there any kids' playing areas.
Cool airport 😍
Going home for block leave and stop through here layover

I'll have to keep that in mind for my next trip thru DFW

How new is the train? What was it before to travel through this massive airport

that's a common theme in many American airports. most terminals at US airports are outdated and seen more like bus stations. We are way behind
