Here's an idea for Carwow. Low mileage vs high mileage of the same cars, raced in pairs in several categories. Sporty diesel (335d maybe). Hot hatch (140, A45, S3 etc). Jeees, when was this recorded CarWow, it's nearly the end on November now.
I'm dying laughing at the system interrupting Mat, lmao Happens in EVERY M-word video on this channel it's so funny.
We bought the CLE Convertible and its really nice. I agree, I hate the door handles. They feel cheap AF.
everything feels cheap in this car not only the door handles. This looks more like a Tesla than a Mercedes. Mercedes really have lost their touch.
@andrecardoso6941 you clearly don't have one
@@DaveFogel Its enough sitting in them at the dealer. Cheap creaky thin feeling plastics everywhere.
@@andrecardoso6941I must disagree and think you never sat in one. Feels much more solid than I expected. Absolutely nice car
I own a C300e with a very similar interior, I can safely say the infotainment screen / heating function is absolutely shocking (as are most cars). Bring. Back. Buttons/Switches!!
Is worth $75k-no
Is it good looking-yesss❤
Id still take the c63s coupe over this and that “no B PILLAR”E CLASS COUPE.
I am seeing these on road the back lights looks like a warning triangle!!!😂😂😂 I guess it's very useful as they broke down all the time!
this car reminds me of a daily mail reader - "anything looks nice and shiny but the bits are cheap", they "cant hear the outside world much" and they "always interrupt"
Mat has been bullying the Mercedes Center Armrest Button in every other Mercedes car review and done it like it's the first time. Lovin' it.
75k, they finally started selling cars to poor people?
Cla is 43k wdym
Cls is 60-65k
Good to see that they actually come in different colors because here in NZ at the moment there all black, white and silver
We all saw that the New M5 is slower than the Mercedes-AMG GT63s E-Performance. If not, go to Throttle House, where they race it against the E63s and Audi RS7 Performance
It's also about 100K more than a new M5. It better be faster. The new M5 beat both the Rs7 performance and the E63s. You know, the cars that it compets with
$100k+ and approx 120 more hp OMG very shocking result 🤯🤯
At those performance numbers I couldn't care less. I'd much rather drive a slower W204 C63 than any of the following C-class AMGs even if they are a lot faster. One is a German muscle car the newer models are glorified disappointments and get worse with every iteration.
@GrandSil90 You BMW M fans said in the past when the GT63s E-Performance arrived, let's wait for the upcoming Hybrid M5, it's will dust this GT63s E-Performance Now the M5 is here, You are complaining that the 63 it 100K more 🤡
It’s a 100k more and has a 120hp more and barely won. What is there to celebrate about ? M5 still had the Cs or whatever other version left to drop
The seat belt presenter thing looks fragile but the ones in my 20 years old CLK work as well today as when I bought the car.
Nice color 😂 crazy $$$
The drive select behind the steering wheel is not “easier” than levers down where the drive select is more commonly found. Only thing is does is free up space on the centre console
Its actually easier to use you don't need to move your whole arm to locate and use it it's just there
Mercedes is not what it used to be...
What a shame...
Currently on my second merc and I can’t see myself ever changing brand unless other brands start adopting the same type of gear change lever next to the steering wheel
The car looks nice from outside, but quality wise the 4 series (for ex) is way ahead.
@carwow so the car you are driving actually has MBUX Assistant in it. So what that does is it picks up what you are saying when you talk to the car. You don’t need to say „hey Mercedes“ and it will try to recognize and fulfill your needs. That’s why when you talked about the visibility it talked about the weather. It will not intervene once it recognizes that there are other passengers in the car or when you are on the phone.
1:48 it needs the stick of truth
Double the budget and add some extra 💷
First we had a single mention of the carwow ad in the end, then they added one in the middle of the video, not it's 2 ads in the middle of the video. We get it man, carwow is great, let us watch the video
1:40 is the paint that scuffed already😂
So what??
I have been following the channel since 2017 and I still very much enjoy the content. Though, I would have liked to sound quality to have improved as much as the picture quality.
Nevertheless, great video as always !
Very unfortunate there’s no v8, I’d actually be interested if there was one in it. Most new Mercedes I just am not interested in at all.
The 63 is supposed to have a V8
The reality is most buyers nowadays don't care about the engine if its not a performance car.
AMGs are just slow unless ur pay over 200k+ for some BS hybrid system .. none of their engines are powerful without electric assist
the question is, who is even interested in the new Mercedes cars? People are only buying them cause of the badge nothing else.
@@PEACEOUTXX1 you're lying lol
Pull down the window and you get in and out much easier. Works on any frameless door. I use it all the time.
2:25 hurt my soul
exhaust?
Everything
@@64siskat96 he slapped the car pretty hard, just unnecessary. I try to never touch the paint on a car.
>infotaiment system on this car is very good
>proceeds to windows-visa era UI made by boomers
idk why people just don’t boycott buying or leasing new cars? nobody needs a brand new car. nobody. but the fact people keep getting them, on lease for the most part so they only keep the car 2-4 years, means car makers are taking it as an excuse to put out SHITTY high prices with interior build quality worse than a 90s Nissan. what a fucking joke seriously.
And also focusing more on ressurecting iconic engine sounds.
Because there are rich people out there and they do whatever they want to do.
@@mediocreman2 rich people don’t buy Civic, Golfs, or CLEs… but look at their prices.
@@hamdanali2036 you think the used market can provide for all the new cars needed? Like can you process the stupidity you just said? Where do you think those used cars come from? They are manufactured used? Almost 2 million cars are sold early in the UK. You dont have enough used cars to support even 1 year of internal UK consumption.
Mat is the goat of car reviews best bar none
6:46 did he just ignore a URUS?
Who cares😂
Just an overpriced RSQ8......
“Or am I gonna put the boot into it”
Car: “ I beat you to it” 💀
New BMW M240 costs £56k fully loaded. Quicker, build and materials quality better and £20k cheaper. No thanks MB 🤭
Nah mate. I love the M240, but the build is nowhere near better and it totally lacks the comfort and luxury of the CLE, because you compare a compact car to a upper middle class one. Drive both and you understand it. The CLE is in another league obviously. If you just want power and speed the 2 series makes more sense
@timonxDlol another league? I think not.
completely different leagues
@@Sergesedd22 like 2 leagues above. The 2 series drives great, but it‘s a compact car and you feel that. They just spent less on those
@timonxDlol
Expond..
The only thing MB has over the M240 is comfort. M240 preforms better. The build quality is better. Tech is debatable depending on what one is looking for. Looks are subjective. So where's this 2 leagues ahead?
I had a CLK W208, now a W209, next I'm looking at is the W207 E Coupe. Probably will be getting this for my kids next with these prices 🤣
10:14 This is for people who criticize Toyota for being pricy while their prices being much much lower than cars from Mercedes or bmw. Look at this plastic. 😅
I remember another review of a mercedes where Mat mentioned the seat controls on the door as a good thing. Which is it gonna be?
Aren’t these reviews kinda pointless if you “shortlist” 99.9% of them?
Does the fact that he shortlists them take away from the information shared during the review?
The best cars in their class he says "go ahead and BUY it".
That's what should happen. Each car category has a best car and only that car should get the buy it label
Wifes loves hers, traded her 18 C43 AMG for one. Not my choice but she finds it more refined, comfortable, better fuel economy over her old twin turbo. Better technology , a bit larger inside, more compliant ride. She agrees some of the interior plastic is not as nice as previous but she loves it none the less. Its styling is nice and the ride is really nice. However I am a battery car guy so to me its archaic still
Nissan GT-R spotted 05:37
i think that’s a 370z
Its 350z
I have one and I prefer to the 4 series, I have the CLE 200 and to enjoy it and use all the power even in that it’s not really possible in the UK due to the traffic.
I'm favoured, Getting my own Truck has always been my Dream for my business. I just acquired 2 recently, earning $32K weekly has been really helpful. I can now give back to the locals in my community and also support Charity Organizations.
As a beginner what do I need to do? How can I invest, on which platform? If you know any please share.
Yes I don't trade on my own anymore, I always required help and assistance
from my personal Financial advisor
Agreed, people often underestimate the role of financial advisors. Over 50 years of data reveal that those who work with advisors typically earn more than those who do it alone. I've been fortunate to work with one for 5 years now, resulting in a million portfolio.
Really you people know her? I was even thinking that I'm the only one she has helped walk through the fears and falls of trading
Please review the G90 M5
£75 grand? You can buy 3 houses in Hull for that
Hey mate please review the newer genesis models ❤
Price is ok in 2024, but The scratchy plastics are incredibly cheap at £50k
Here's an idea for Carwow. Low mileage vs high mileage of the same cars, raced in pairs in several categories. Sporty diesel (335d maybe). Hot hatch (140, A45, S3 etc). Supercar (whatever high mileage one you can find, ex trackday experience huracan vs low milage one maybe). Petrol barge (S8, 760i etc). Sporty SUV (X5m, SVR etc). Also...hear me out... cars which share the same engine but are available in 2wd or 4wd... where is the advantage. 4wd drive train loss on the 50mph roll race?
Silly price. Should be £25,495 with 7 year warranty and 0% APR.
It's built to a budget for the lease market, it's not meant to be a forever car, simply because out of warranty you couldn't justify the out of warranty repairs bills and the depreciation
ill take a m5 cs over that
L
This car is not the m5 Cs competition bro
M5 looks ugly as shit
These bmw fan boys are the new supra kids
X7m , cheers
Nice iwc watch, Matt, notice you showing it all the time.
Ah yes, 75k for a car with a cheaper interior than a Suzuki Swift.
😂😂😂😂😂 typically mercedes
Feature is now.
And swift is great little nugget
Mercedes isn't really known for its high quality interiors so yeah
@ that’s why world gifted is BMW
Matt, can you review the new X3?
What about the new EV Range Test of a Kia EV9, Tesla Model S Plaid, Opel/Vauxhall Grandland, BMW XM, Hyundai Ioniq 9, and the Ford Mustang Mach E GT, I hope they can get a longer range of the EV cars.
I've had a 2004 Clk and quality wasn't so poor. I don't like the tablet dash in the new era.
And back in 2004 we've had the rear foldable head rests which was a very useful feature.
And for 70 000 euros it was the 500 V8 under the bonnet.
is there a 4 door version?
that's where the E or C class comes in
I remember praising seat controls on door panel in some review before now you say you dont like them on the door panel
when are you reviewing the m5
When will you do the A5?
Have not seen the vid yet, only the beginning question.
But it must be a lot of better than the C-class because of the in line 6 that is available with this car
