The end of summer NO DIG & BALCONY GARDEN HARVESTS | unexpected guests in gardens

- 🌱As the weather cools down rapidly, I have some the end of summer harvests from no dig backyard garden and balcony garden. Balcony garden is mostly ready for fall garden, but no dig backyard garden is still quite full with summer vegetables. I also share these tiny furry unexpected guests that showed up in my gardens about a week ago.

Soooo much positivity in this channel, I loved every second of it. So beautiful, me and my daughter are literally consuming video after video been scared when we run out of them. They are short, but amazingly powerful, keep them coming, please.

Oh that was so sweet and you were so sweet to let the kittens and the mama have run of the garden !!! Sen knows … 💚 she’s a sweetie! I loved this I’m the same way I have a hard time trimming out and cutting out things that need to go to make room in fact I was doing that today and it was very bitter sweet I even had to take out these beautiful flowers out of the whole garlic bed so I can plant my garlic for next year… I can’t wait to see your next steps with your fall planting, you say it short so I’m curious to see what all you do! How did it go? I hope it went as planned and you have a blank canvas to plant new vegetables☺️ Ok, today, I’ll do it, too! I’ll clear out some areas for fall vegetables! In bed with summer vegetables still doing well, I guess I’ll squeeze in a few seedlings.
Sen watches this little cat family from inside , and it’s like a free live show. She seems to find them very entertaining😂 They start to spend some time outside of the gardens, so Sen will be getting back out there soon.

@@OishiiGarden awww sweet!! I know with my four cats Willa just loves them it’s sweet to see them play together! My clearing out of some bed areas went really well 💚and actually I’m gonna plant some garlic today and start some things in the greenhouse but I think I’ve got some lettuce coming up just because I didn’t harvest all the seed but I’m definitely getting areas ready and it feels good! 🌱I still have butternut’s coming in and still have arugula and amaranth growing I just can’t rip it out!! Have fun getting some cleared!! 💕🐈⬛🐕🐾😊

@@OishiiGarden yes my dogs love the cats they all get along in fact FiFi my black cat is very very playful with Willa and she actually runs after the ball when Willa is chasing it it’s hilarious! 🐕🐈⬛ I even learned that you can put potatoes in before winter but they need to be the whole potato with a bit of sprouts on themyou know when the eyes start growing because if you cut them up and put them in that way they will rot but the whole potato won’t so I planted six today and marked them because I’m definitely gonna see if that works they say that you just get a big Headstart on your harvest I’ll still plant potatoes in the spring but I want to see what these do and I’m so glad I reminded you about the garlic I’ve got to do that later today I didn’t get to yesterday I’ve cleaned out so much of the garden and gotten things ready but I planted kale lettuce brussels sprouts and more basil in the greenhouse today then I’m gonna do more later!! 💚🌱🌿🎻🐕🐈⬛
I tried planting potatoes in late summer to harvest in fall last year, but failed. I think I had to plant early varieties, so they make it before the 1st frost. Are you planning to let them overwinter? Wow, that is such a fun experiment! I can’t wait to see how it goes😊 Haha, Fifi and Willa chasing a ball together is adorable😍 I cleared some areas yesterday, but I didn’t get to planting seedlings and seeds. You are doing such a great job keeping up!✨🌾

Due of the heat we been experiencing a lot lately, my beans are struggling a bit. I just added more good compost so hoping they will bounce back. The kittens are so cute.
Oh no… but beans are pretty tough. I hope they get through the heat and come back better than ever! Those kittens have been melting my heart and entertaining Sen😊

I know, right? It was a hard decision to make😢 These kittens will soon start exploring outside my gardens and spend less time here, then I can finally start working with Sen again✨ I always make Okinawan dish, Goya Chanpuru with bitter melons. I’d love for you to try it! I uploaded a recipe and how to last summer☺️
I love the kittens, i am having a lot of rain these days so my summer harvest is going to be some bell peppers, mulberries, and i hope some strawberries, i lost my tomato plant and i dont know why it dead, but hopefully next year ill have some tomatoes, congrats for your harvest :D
Thank you so much. You still get strawberries? Wow, that’s really nice. Most of my tomatoes are gone at this point, too. I planted a new seedling hoping it will make it before the 1st frost, but we’ll see!
