    Hi! I'm so happy to have you here. I hope your weekend is peaceful and full of harvest. Hurricane Henri is heading this way. I'm crossing my fingers that my gardens won't be knocked out completely :)

    I've also learned mixed corn kernels come from mixed planting! Switching not edible corn kernels to popcorns or cornmeals is so you!

      Haha I just didn’t want to waste them! I thought they wouldn’t cross pollinate since maturing dates are different, but oh well😁 They decided to flower and send silks all at the same time.

    I also tried to grow corn in my garden, but mostly it didn't grow very well. I think it needs a lot of compost. But your plants look great, thanks for sharing!

      Thank you so much! Yes, I read somewhere that corns demand lots of nutrients since they are basically grass. I fed them a few times throughout the season. I also read not to over-do it, because it could cause aphids problem. I can’t wait to try again next year! I hope yours do well, too😊✨

    Your corn ears look beautiful and pest free! Good tip on adding support to your corn, last year when I grew corn they all fell over and the animals ate them all shortly before they were ready for harvest! 😬

      @OishiiGarden  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you so much! All of my corns were knocked down by the storm last year, and they didn’t grew well after that. Oh, no, it was almost harvest time? I’m so sorry to hear that🥲 We always have next year, right?☺️✨🌽

    Wow 🤩😍😲So beautiful, love your videos, And can u please say how to get rid of the brown circle shaped insects, I don't know what are they, they are mainly in my monstera plants, and they seem to be increasing in count.. And great way to start my day with your video 😌

    • @OishiiGarden
      @OishiiGarden  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you very much as always😊🙏🏻 Ok, so I did some research. Not 100% sure what insects you have on your Monstera, but they could be tiny beetles or aphids? Some posts suggest using neem oil to get rid of them. I’m sure you are using it already though🧐 I would wash the entire plants including back side of the leaves, too. I hope they aren’t causing too much damage.

    I wonder how you supported the blackberries. Mine is sprawling everywhere 🤣 I’m hoping for fruits next year.

    • @OishiiGarden
      @OishiiGarden  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I made an arch with wood last year for blackberries to climb onto. I tie new shoots to that arch when they get tall and long. Haha yes, they tend to go wild if I take my eyes off of them for 1 second😂 I hope I get enough fruits for a pie next year, too💕🥧

    姫さま。とうもろこしは兎に角「広い」土地に植えるのがええですじゃ。ジジは一度発泡スチロールで挑戦しましたが、実はなりませんでしたよ。動画拝見する限りでは、適量の植え付けだと思います。大きな実をとるには「大きな」土地ですじゃ。姫さま、

      ジジ様、なるほど、広い場所に植えてあげると良い実がなるのですね。ジジ様に適量の植え付けとの太鼓判を頂けて安心しました😊 来年は一つの品種だけ植えてみます🌱

    do you have a large area?

    • @OishiiGarden
      @OishiiGarden  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, it might look big in videos, but my house is located a few feet away from the busy road, and gardens are very small. That’s why I plant so many plants right next to each other trying to maximize the harvest☺️
