    When I sit down in my chair and was scrolling through TH-cam to check my subscriptions I came across you again and it was so relaxing watching you in the garden and it’s a beautiful site seeing your beautiful garden full of vegetation. Your videos are always pleasant to watch.

      How kind of you! Thank you so very much. About a year ago, the backyard was just a blank canvas with overgrown weeds. It’s amazing how much it can change in just 1 year. It is my joy to know that you enjoy my videos☺️

    Wow! I’m actually impressed you have pests! 😂 Because now I feel better ! I’m laughing as I’m telling you this but I also have cabbage worms and slugs coming out of nowhere and I gave up on Neem oil a couple years ago but I have that BT now …I’m so sorry you’re dealing with that I feel your pain! But you are doing such a wonderful job letting nature take it’s course and it’s so neat that all the beneficial bugs are coming! You are definitely a perfectionist in my book! Your garden is so immaculate and I know it’s hard to let go of some of that perfection but I’m so impressed you shared all that thank you so much I don’t feel so alone! Sen had the most beautiful expression when you pulled out the kohlrabi!! ♥️♥️♥️she is a doll I love her more and more! Thank you so much for such beautiful beautiful shots and sharing this wonderful video😘

      Oh I do have pests! Lots of them😂 All the spraying, sprinkling and dusting got overwhelming, and although they were all organic, I also saw some beneficial bugs casualties. I didn’t like that more than having pests eating my vegetables. There must be a better way. Yes! I know! Don’t you feel like you are the only one failing when you see other gardeners’ spectacular harvests? Haha yes, exactly! I am hopelessly a perfectionist! The gardens always come up with unexpected and surprises, both good and bad, and I actually enjoy letting it go and see how things turn out. This year, I didn’t even make planting map & schedule😁 Sen’s interaction and expression are always priceless and bring me so much joy. Thank you for such a thoughtful comment and all the love for Sen🐕‍🦺💕

      @@OishiiGarden I was in my garden this morning I can’t really find any more of the cabbage worms but I think I’m gonna spray again with the organic spray- just got to keep trying but yeah it’s not good to get the beneficial bugs -I haven’t seen any of that happening yet but it all can get so frustrating can’t it? Well I haven’t gotten a basket yet for Willa- I hope to get one this week because soon we’re gonna be taking carrots out of the ground and she just loves them as you know ! so that would be a perfect harvest for her to learn to carry😊 🥕💚

    • @OishiiGarden
      @OishiiGarden  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ohhh Willa’s gonna be very excited about starting a new job! I hope you find a perfect size carrying basket for her. As for the cabbage moths, same here. I see them flying around, but no major issues. I planted so many kales that I don’t mind giving them 1 or 2😂

      @@OishiiGarden right! The compromise of sacrificing a few plants! I’ve let all my last kale go to seed so I’ll have plenty for the year and more- I want to see how long those seed last if stored correctly… also have cabbage and arugula that wet to seed I will store- Willa I hope will give up the ball a little while to do the basket work!! 🥕🦋🙏🏻💜

    I was literally waiting for your videos, it's so relaxing and motivates me to do well in my balcony garden, thank you so much for inspiring me ❤️🙂 can you suggest the container depth for tomato plant ?

    • @OishiiGarden
      @OishiiGarden  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Aww thank you for waiting! You won’t believe how happy I am to hear that. My balcony containers are about 11 inches deep, and tomatoes have no problem growing in them. As they get tall, they become top heavy, so you might want to secure them during storms. Other than that, I haven’t had any major issue🙆🏻‍♀️✨

    • @nikithag832
      @nikithag832 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@OishiiGarden thank you so much for responding, last year when I started gardening did few research on the container gardening every other said to use 24 inch for almost all vegetables, i invested in grow bags but feeling guilty for using so much of soil which I could save by using them in 11 inch pots also. Thank you for recommending will try them soon.

    • @OishiiGarden
      @OishiiGarden  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, much deeper and bigger planters are usually recommended for tomatoes, so I wasn’t too sure about growing them in my 3 gallon trashcans. I hope they grow healthy with lots of red ripe tomatoes for you🥰🍅
