Why was The Flash Such a Flop?

Whether it’s the questionable FX, the lead star's very controversial dalliances, or just audiences being burned one too many times by Comic Book Films, there's one flop that is all anyone can talk about: The Flash. And look, I get it. There was a lot of craziness that went on during this production and had more people come and go due to creative differences than any movie we've covered on the show.
Warning you guys and gals right now, if you haven't seen The Flash, you're going to want to turn back now, because this is where things get SUPER spoilery.

Regardless of the flaws, it was a great time at the theater. Andy Muschietti did a mostly solid job. After this and IT 1 & 2, I'll be looking forward to his next endeavor. So happy to see Keaton as Batman again. Ezra was great, but it's a shame he pretty much caused the movie to bomb.

I heard someone mention that the ending seemed like DC dumping miller into bat nipple universe to exit the miller flash in future movies and starting fresh, given the whole headaches around miller I thought it made sense

As now, this film is THE biggest bomb, ever, even more than Green Lantern, Black Adam, Wonder Woman '84, 2015's Fan4stic, BVS, and 2016's all women Ghostbusters. The two Suicide Squad films are way better than this mess.
