Getting acne at 9 is super unfortunate, I thought it was bad for me cause I was the first at my school who got it when I was 12-13. The younger you are when you get acne, the worse it is because the regret overwhelms you even though 12 year old me didn't even know what acne or skincare routines are, I can't imagine getting acne when you are 9.
Im starting accutane at 13 years old, I've been struggling with acne since I was 7, I've always had a bad Self-esteem, many people on my school would question why I had so many black heads. I've tried everything, from expensive skincare to dermatologists prescripted products, but i never got a a result that It satisfied me. A few weeks back i went to a very recommended dermatologist here in Brazil, and I got so happy when I was prescribed accutane, my mom knew I would often cry because of how bad my skin looked, and she bought me accutane. It's been 1 week since I've started taking it and some side effects I got is dry lips, flaky skin some hair loss. I really don't mind these too much, I use vaseline on my lips and it helped me a lot too. Overall I'm very happy to be given this opportunity! I can't wait for the next few months!

I had a surf trip on month 3, was still in my purge fase but nothing got particularly worse. hi, i am not sure of this answer since i was prescribed a higher dosage and was told by my doctor to take it either once or twice a day. i'd refer back to your doctor!
Im 17 and i took accutane, i finished my entire course eqrlier this year in January and wow it saved my life but recently ever since march i been constantly breaking out idk why, my derma says its hormonal and i dont know what skin care products to use anymore cuz before accutane i tried everythig but she said the acne is not really there. Its been like this for 4-5 months so I dont know what to do cuz I wanna start lasers for scars but still go active acne maybe its a hormone thing cuz im still 16, Please help! Sorry😅
Hi! I also had some mild acne return because it's hormonal. The best thing I did was simplify my skincare routine (which I have a video in the works for this), minimize stress (easier said than done but practicing mindfulness, light exercise, etc), and I think age had a factor in it. I'm 25 now. I am, however, about to start another round of "low dose" accutane, which should help eliminate any future acne but I do have to do it for about 12 consecutive months.
@@kellymeng Do you mind me asking what skincare routine you used? I also sometimes see my friends with acne because I got it at an early age so right now it’s completely normal to have. Right now I use cerave hydrating facial cleanser, neutrogena light weight gel moisturizer and some sunscreen. I put on clindamyacin gel in the morning and tretnoin in the night but I don’t know if that’s working. I been doing that for 5 months idk🥲
Hey Riley! Yes I have missed it for many days before (2 weeks lol) due to a pharmacy error. I did get 1 pimple back during the time, but I was only in my 2 or 3rd month in. Now I sometimes do skip a day or so on accident but haven't experienced any negative effects.
Isn’t starting 30 mg a lot! I am on my 3rd day the dr only prescribed 10 mg for me , but it worked for her I am thinking I should tell him to increase it
I’ve done both and I’d say it’s comparable amounts of dryness. Lotion would suffice in a pinch but a thick balm would be the best bet for sealing in moisture.
My accurate purge has been miserable. Not only has my skin gotten bad but it’s WAY worse than it ever was before i started accutane. I’m on month 2 and it’ been going on for about a month. I genuinely dont know what to do, and im considering just quitting accusante in general. Ugh
Don’t do it you will face purging for 5 months afterwards it slowley started to give you the result that you dreamed of I know it’s hard to be in a purging state but trust the process it take up to one year for some to get the result 😊
Don't quit. Continue taking your medication as prescribed by your doctor. If you have question speak to your doctor. The leaflet has all the side effects written on it. It's part of the process. Accutane is a last resort since nothing else helps.
absolutely not accutane is a long process, its a marathon not a sprint u have to trust the process it will take a while but it’s worth it. ur doctor can perscribe u accutane that has more isotretinoin in it
Hi i had 45 tablets with 20 mg.its before 6th April finished.after 1 months i wait..now i want to pagnant. Can i wait more or easily go to pagnant pls tell me.
My doctor consulted me to have oral isotretinoin 20 MG.....so can I use The Ordinary 7% toning solution and aha/bha peeling solution once a week if I take the peels?....please tell🥺
Hi Sana! I am not a doctor, but I am going to tell you what my doctor told me. She said that you should avoid any additional treatments when you're on Accutane since it is VERY strong already. Meaning if you use the toning solution or the peeling solution, it will do more harm than benefit. In fact, it would most likely cause a chemical burn! So please consult with your doctor. The only products I used during my treatment are moisturizers and an ointment such as Aquaphor or Vaseline. Everything else would be damaging to your already-thin skin. Good luck and when in doubt, always contact your doctor!
Bro why y’all on here asking this non doctor all these medical questions? Go talk to your doctor tf is wrong with y’all? Do y’all really just ask random people for medical advice and just go with what they say?

Btw the acne is not terribly bad but its everytime i wake up i get a few zits and they die down but new ones come
I been doing that for 5 months idk🥲
hey! I just posted a vid literally today about this. I hope it helps. Lmk if you have more q’s
@@kellymeng Oh my bad thanks🤦🏻♂️😭
have you ever missed a dosage? & if so has it affected your outcome at all? i missed a couple days & scared it’s going to affect my outcome 😭
Hey Riley! Yes I have missed it for many days before (2 weeks lol) due to a pharmacy error. I did get 1 pimple back during the time, but I was only in my 2 or 3rd month in. Now I sometimes do skip a day or so on accident but haven't experienced any negative effects.
You are so beautiful 😍 thank you for the informations
Isn’t starting 30 mg a lot! I am on my 3rd day the dr only prescribed 10 mg for me , but it worked for her I am thinking I should tell him to increase it
Follow your doc’s orders! Everyone does something slightly different, I’d always defer to doc’s recommendation
Every 10-14 days i have to get my blood work done 😅
a necessary evil :(
Hii did u take 30mg twice or once a day ?
does lotion on lips then lip balm like vaseline avoid or lessen the affect?
im on tretenoion so im used to dry lips and dry skin but I don't know if it's tretonin level dry or will it be even worse?
Please don't stop this is your journey ...you are almost there..the result will be worth it..Patience forget about people' remember your journey
I hope you didn’t give up!
Update??
Don't quit. Continue taking your medication as prescribed by your doctor. If you have question speak to your doctor. The leaflet has all the side effects written on it. It's part of the process. Accutane is a last resort since nothing else helps.
60 mg, Im 80kg on 20mg. Guess there's levels to it
definitely different levels for it!
where did you go for labwork?
I went to LabCorp for my bloodwork!
Will it actually cure for real?
Yes!
damn, if u want accutane in europe it goes like this: "go to dermatologist - sup bro, gimme some isotretinoin, no worries bro here you go"
Europe is a big place with many many countries and we don't say sup bro, in Europe.
Did u take 30mg twice a day or once
as prescribed by doctor. 30mg is usually one tablet.
Your skin care routine
Can you please remove the music in the background? It would be better❤
noted for future :)

SEE YOU SOON 4 UPDATES
BRO MY HAIR IS GOING FROM ISOTRETINOIN PILL WILL IT COME BACK OR NOT PLEASE TELL ME??? 😭😭😭
You should probably ask your doctor about this and not someone on TH-cam.
Can i take 10 pill a day my skin Is very very very very oily
I’d consult with your doctor!
Wanna die 😅
absolutely not accutane is a long process, its a marathon not a sprint u have to trust the process it will take a while but it’s worth it. ur doctor can perscribe u accutane that has more isotretinoin in it
once you stop taking oral isotretinoin or even lower the dosage oiliness will return/ so it's not a solution to get rid of oiliness
did you have to go on birth control? sorry if that’s too personal of a question
no worries at all -- i did not but you are supposed to be on 2 forms of birth control.
Hi i had 45 tablets with 20 mg.its before 6th April finished.after 1 months i wait..now i want to pagnant. Can i wait more or easily go to pagnant pls tell me.
I'd consult your doctor!
Dosage????
I was on 30 mg month 1, then 60 mg month 2-4!
TNX
@@kellymeng Thank you so much ❤
Please I want to know if can I get accutane in china ??
Treatment of Accutane is temporary but the side effects tend to stay forever
That scares me I am just trying it 😅
this is a myth lol, also this is incredibly rare but that they have to warn you for possible symptoms
alcohol is super important 🤣
Dd
Bro why y’all on here asking this non doctor all these medical questions? Go talk to your doctor tf is wrong with y’all?
Do y’all really just ask random people for medical advice and just go with what they say?
true lol
I know it's ridiculous. Not just here but all videos on youtube. Ask questions about the healing process but why ask about dosages etc
