Russia Accuses US Of Meddling In India's General Elections | Vantage With Palki Sharma | N18L

In a major move, Russia has accused the United States of meddling in India's ongoing general elections. A Russian foreign ministry spokesperson said that the 'US wants to unbalance the domestic political situation in India in order to complicate the ongoing general parliamentary elections in the country.' India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also accused foreign powers of trying to interfere in India's polls.
A few days ago, foreign minister S. Jaishankar had accused western media of considering themselves to be "political players" in the elections. Accusations of foreign meddling in a country's elections are not new though. Several countries including the US, UK and Canada have, in the past, accused fellow democracies of such interferences.

Very often, we are willing to die for our men and women, to provide, care for and protect them. From this strong bond springs strong emotions, that lead to strong errors, and abuse. But let us not over estimate or over dramatize the prevalence of these unfortunate events, and demonize and destroy the most valuable and satisfying bonds we have in our lives !
