Chinese President Xi Jinping extended a warm welcome to Russian President Vladimir Putin in Beijing. Putin's state visit to China marked his first overseas trip since he commenced his fifth Presidential term. During the first day of his visit, Putin held bilateral talks with Chinese President Xi, signed a joint declaration and discussed several new bilateral agreements between Beijing and Moscow. The two leaders also discussed the Russia-Ukraine war with President Xi saying that a "political solution" can end the war in Ukraine. They also vowed to work together against "destructive and hostile" US pressure. On Vantage tonight, Palki Sharma brings you the full story.

India & China shouldn't view themselves as rivals, (which the US really want them to). Instead, they should solve their border issues diplomatically. They are both members of BRICS and its already possible. Look at China & Russia, they share a long border and they are great friends. Same to US & Canada.
