Rifts in Israel's war cabinet were exposed after defence minister Yoav Gallant criticised prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu for refusing to discuss a post-war plan for Gaza. Gallant said his attempts to discuss such a plan were repeatedly rejected by Netanyahu. The prime minister hit back at his minister, saying post-war plans cannot be made unless Hamas was defeated. Meanwhile, Arab countries gathered in Bahrain for a summit and called for an international conference to implement a two-state solution. What explains Gallant's sudden revolt against Netanyahu? It is incredibly disappointing to see how the Arab nations have been oblivious to the struggles of the Palestinians - not only now during the massacre in Gaza, but over many years before. Their silence is shameful. Their lack of active support is shameful. And, for some - their bowing to the US for political or economic favour is absolutely despicable.
They should realise by now that they should militrise as best as they can, unite together as best as they can, and invest in food production and import from their African brothers and sisters. Arabs are not alone agaisnt Genociders.

It’s sad that elderly care is also looked from the Western lens of GDP selling it as the best thing. We are moving towards commodifying our elders. If we blindly follow West seeking pleasure and comfort we will have very bad ramifications on our Society where every thing will be equated in terms of money. We need better human beings. Too manyOld-age home is symbolic of degraded society where young no longer care their elders… How can an employee look after once parents. I am often surprised why First post takes Western way of living as bench mark. The conflict is seemingly eternal, and no side is likely to agree with any resolution that leaves them short of their respective hardliner position. Land Borders - The Jerusalem Question is equally as intractable as the settlements issue, how does this conference hope to resolve settlements considered ''illegal'' by one party but disputed by the other? And any sane mind understands there cannot be a two-state solution without a clear boundary delineation between such states. Only when that happens can we begin to table the issue of the Right of Return. The fact that these issues are interconnected makes it herculean; to concede Jerusalem for Settlement or vice versa - middle ground seems lightyears ahead with the parties involved more likely to dig in and preserve their current demands. Fingers crossed.

Too often, this responsibility gets dumped on the youngest, or the last child to leave the family home. Get this resolved in a legal contract prior to the critical time of need.
