Today( sep ,04,2024) I called usics to see any update and ask where is my case actually being processed , they said it is in Houston field office . I don’t know if your case went to field office or not . How long do u think it should take now . I live in Houston Texas .

We applied through our Laywer October 2022 to remove condition. It's now almost July 2024. They sent us a 4 year extention letter to carry with the expired 2 yr green card. Still heard nothing after almost 2 years on the 10 year green card.

My husband's 2 year green card expired. He got an extention letter. It expired 10-2022. He's already done biometrics for the 2yrs card. Now he'll have to go for biometric to remove conditions. Looks like we will have to go for another Interview if he's got to go for Biometrics. We've waited much longer than you ( years). My husband will be 60 in October and has had 2 mini strokes but still working. He's worked the entire time he's been in the states. We've filed taxes for years and paid lawyer fees and gov fees and they are putting us through a lot of trouble when they have no reason why they can't just approve his 10 yr removal of conditions. We have lived at the same address and nothing has changed. Been married 5 years. I have don't know why they put us through hell when they approve most people and allow illegals so many privileges
Im sorry to hear that, I know the process are frustrating. However think positive, pray, hang on there and you will get into it. Every indivual case is unique some may fast some may take longer to be approve, eventually its unpredictable. Praying for the best of you and your husband.

You would think we've already been to one interview which went well that it would be enough. It costs us money when he has to take off work and pay for a ticket to go out of town because I can't drive in my car. We have to book a hotel the day before & they're causing us a lot of stress. Hi! As I remember, I received a confirmation from uscis a week after when I submit my I-751.

I did not try but some of my friends had no issue when they travel overseas with extension letter.
