  • In this video, I discuss the I-751, which includes an overview, tips, and different marital or divorce situations. The I-751 petition to remove conditions must be filed by every conditional resident. If you don't, USCIS can terminate your conditional residence and refer the case to immigration court to begin deportation proceedings.

     I applied for i751 and got an extension letter for 48 months. Can I travel anywhere in the world or just home country (Belarus)? I have a trip planned to Grand Cayman. Will my expired green card and extension letter be enough to enter Cayman Islands as permanent resident or would I need an additional visa?

    Question! So, our I751 was sent back once because I attached form G1450 AND a check...I resent it this past Thursday, however, I put the biometrics and filing fee onto one check..is this going to be sent back again for not being on separate checks?! My wife (CR1) and I leave to her home country end of May so I need that receipt to get back into the USA. Thank you

    Appreciate it. Filing for my wife rn. Do you need to Sign a signature for the i-751 with a pen? Or can you type the signature? Also, I recently added my wife to a joint account. Would that file work as evidence as a joint account or do i need to wait for the statement? Thanks again for the information.

    Immigration paperwork is no joke. I urge you to file with a lawyer. I recently recieved my 10 year green card filing my i-751 Solo due to my abusive spouse. Overall it took 4 years but that was due to the 'C' word and my ex wife trying to sabotage my case.

      @@gtbrowneyes6993 Thank you. I had every text message we had ever sent and she used to like to do a lot of her controlling and abuse in messages. I took several examples of this and printed them out. I used photo's of my injuries, restraining order, police report, a letter from the therapy I was recieving and letters from friends explaining their experience of what I was going through and any examples they had my ex wife's behaviour. Evidence is SO important.

    You don’t need to send the form fee separately from the biometrics fee. You can combine it in the same check or money order. What you cannot do is pay for multiple forms in one money order or check 😉

    Hi,
    Is the affidavit required/mandatory to submit with the application? We have pretty strong evidences for our marriage and didn’t want to bother our friends or family members with writing an affidavit if it’s not entirely necessary.
    Also, are we required to provide the passport photos? Or is that part of the biometrics fee?
    Thank you in advance!

    • @kizbee1780
      @kizbee1780 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You don't need to provide passport photos. My sister and our friends didn't submit affidavits either (My sister and her friends got their 10 year green card within the year of submission). What we all just included in our packets are: Photo copies of your driver's license/state ID, Greencard, Marriage certificate, Birth certificates of your children if you have, Income Tax Returns, Joint Bank Account Statements (both credit & checking if you have), photos year to year from we first started dating up to present year (my sister and I submitted minimum of 20 photos with spouse, our kids, friends and family). I sent mine in the 3rd week of February and just got a confirmation from USCIS that they received my packet and my check payment cleared just yesterday too. Good luck and hope my info will help.
