at 18:27 when he trys to power it up the first time, it does some sound it shouldnt, you can hear a plop or click. so maybe some leftover charge fried that chip that moment?
Nice recovery work. I always have a blob of blu tack on the mat and push the resistor into it to secure when measuring. Stops it flying off into no man’s land so to speak. 👍
When measuring caps you could just take it off and attach it to one pad. This way it's easier to measure and less risk of losing it. The measurements should be accurate bc there is no circuit capacitance being measured...I would think.
So I attempted to use a picofly on my oled, flashed with current "fw_2.73.uf2" I get one solid blue light, then it flashes yellow twice pause flash yellow twice pause, yellow twice and off and won't boot - What can I check or what did I possibly miss?
Hi, TVPW. Would you mind sharing the gloves you're using for repairs? A link or the brand would be awesome. Also, do you sell spare switch lite boards for me to practice? Seeing you in action is really inspiring and I want to follow in your footsteps. Thank you for the video!
So I tried myself... I tested all the points and flashed with 2.73 firmware --- I get no body and 6 short yellow or green flashes after 1 solid blue. It goes 2 pause 2 pause 2 end - any idea what I can look for or what the code means?
hwfly was injected via st link when i turn on the device it blinks purple then green and keeps blinking but the nintendo logo appears instead of the atmospheric logo does it mean the chip has a problem or does it need a program to transfer the piece to a second device the same problem please help me
Read on gbaTemp forms that the lite and og switch clones send 5v to the screen if there is no sd card with something to boot. The OLED screen is suppose to only take 3v. So if 5v hits the screen enough the screen would be dead.
That is with the crappy unflashable clone that looks like the lite chip. Pretty much a thing of the past. However people should stick to the chip that's actually made for the oled in terms of fitment, not the lite version which this is.
Hello, can anyone tell me, what is job is exactly? I mean, his profession, what he learned or studied to understand and know, what this power meter have to show on it's display, to know this or this or this part is broken or not. I mean, he is probably not a ordinary electrician, right? Kind regards
Thanks again for repairing my Switch, and so sorry to have complicated your work, still don't know how did that chip blow up.
How much did this cost you?

Thans for the video! This helped me a lot to understand the needed voltage values for a proper soldering!
Well done, this feels like "The Italian job" to the end with good outcome.
Awesome professionalism.
Que grande eres!, me encanta ver tus videos!, ojalá tuviera tus cualidades, un fuerte saludo desde España!👌
9:38 I was missing this part too 😢 my oled won't turn on also

Great content dude👍 Just a question: what components are those to which you soldered the processor flex to? Capacitors, resistors?
Ur a badass man, I hope that guy paid u a tip
Why did you connect a wire at the end from near the antenna connectors to the HWFLY
Wow. You are very talented. How long have you been soldering?
What would cause the touchscreen to stop working? I checked all my cable installations and they are all fine.
I have instinct chip installed getting a constant green pulse with a black screen

Friend, below where you take 3.3v there is a small capacitor, the smallest one, could you help me find it, my board does not have it?
How much would a repair like this cost? Thank you

Hello, To DATA0 in the hot had you set 160 degrees celsius and what percentage of blowing?
Hello. 360 degrees and 60 - 70 airflow
Great job! Thx!
Well the reflowing causes problems later so pls avoid that
Why the hell does it go under that chip?
Any chance of making a video on on NOR flash reprograming please?
If we've got any console that needs this job, we will make a video of it.
@@tvpartsworld806 will be very helpful for a newbie like me who learns from your videos...thanks

I believe it falls under the profession 'Electro technician' and subfield 'micro electronics'.
