A great video my friend. My sincere apologies- I said I’d give you a shout out of your great channel and if I’m being honest, I seem to remember after I make a video. 🙈 Your shout outs were a gentle reminder and I will definitely do that for you. Your channel quickly became a favorite of mine! 😊
Thanks my friend, that's very kind of you to offer to do that for me. Must admit, how TH-cam and subscribers works baffles me, that new video lost me 2! 🤣
As an older Elvis fans wow i remembee the moment of getting these old rare bootlegs....i remember loving to hear all the outtakes of CHFILWY....i even had friends over listening to them!!!! It was a rariety back then to hear Elvis swearing take to take....we all thought it was so kool.....😅 Enjoying your show...been a fan since 56 when i was 8...met Elvis in 67 and 68...saw 30 shows from 69 to 76...a Canadian super fan....Elvis was so sweet and kind to his fans that met him at his gates in L.A. where we met him...down to earth and you could tell he truly loved his fans!!!! ❤❤❤
Thank you, it so great to hear from fans who were there at the very beginning, and to have met him...wow! Not envious at all (I may not be telling the truth 😊) thanks for commenting, it's much appreciated!
Some great stuff in their. Here in my part of New York it is extremely rare to find any Elvis records in thrift stores or at estate sales, much less anything rare. I remember buying that From The beach to the Bayou went it first came out...us Elvis fans were dying to hear things we had never heard before so it was a real treat to be given that inside look.
Fantastic buys. 👍. The Beach to the Bayou import was also released in the Netherlands on the Moon label with a beautiful colour cover of a publicity shot of 1957/58. Walmart has had some nice colour viny releases over the yrs. And they were cheap. There is another vol. Of the Italian release. I think they kept it at 2. Thanks for showing some memories of vinyls through the yrs.
Thank you, sounds as though the Netherlands version was better presented! The shop I got the Italian release from had sold the '56 one the day before. Luck of the draw, I guess ☹️
Hi Sean. New subscriber here as directed by Mark. Nice haul here. Can be difficult to find a nice copy Flaming Star & Summer Kisses. Look forward to seeing more. Cheers, Jeff
Oh completely agree, I've always been drawn to the dark world of the bootleg. And speaking of dark worlds, must congratulate you on your psychic powers, at least that's what I'm putting the fact that you knew that my middle name's Mark down to 🤣
Agree with you Sean, I love David's videos too. LOVE that teeshirt! Adore the album set Elvis In the Sixties, especially the cover and inside is sensational. I remember seeing that online a while ago and wondering whether I should get it. Now I think I MUST! Great lot of LPs there. Gosh, all that palaver over cleaning records! Mine are lucky if they get a wipeover with a microfibre cloth. Back in the day of my teenage years (sixties), records must have been made tough because they were carried to and from parties, had food and drink spilled over them, played over and over on a multitude of record players (which probably never had the needles changed) and washed under a tap in running water Mine are still listenable, even if there are a few scratches....memories!
Hey Gina, I can well believe that about records back in the day, they were made with care by real craftsmen, that's why some of the guys who pressed them became well known in their own right. The same can't be said about new releases these days unfortunately 😑
Hey my friend ,thank you so much for that shoutout for my channel ,as you say we haven't met YET but we will ,you know .to me the biggest legacy Elvis left is the friendship between his fans ,even after 47 years after he passed he still brings people together ,please do a showing the room video👍 I really like the flaming star and the tickle me albums also the Italian one ,great video as always ,I love you my friend ,have a fantastic weekend ,btw I won't stop the singing as long as you don't stop collecting vinyl😊😊
You're more than welcome buddy, I'll definitely do an updated room tour soon, and I won't stop collecting vinyl completely, just need to slow down the pace. You have yourself a fab weekend too brother!
Congratulations Sean some really cool and nice rarities. Only a few additional Infos for you: The german 1982 "In Love With Elvis 18 Romantic Love Songs" was also released/produced on CD in Japan (without an Obi or Inlay!) and Taiwan between 1988-1995, it's a very rare CD for sure! The "Tickle Me" Album is a Counterfeit/Bootleg fom 1987 made in Italy. The Original RCA Album was released in South Africa and Rhodesia in 1965! I totally understand your point of view. I have around +2.000 Elvis Vinyls 45rpm/33rpm and over 3.000 Elvis CD's in my Collection. The only rooms without Elvis Stuff stuck in, is the Bathroom, Kitchen and the Balcony! Hundreds (!) of Albums, CD's, DVD's and Books are still sealed so i decided to live on for the next 150 Years😂 Enjoy your new (and old) Elvis Treasures my friend!
Hey Harald, thanks for all the info! I didnt realise the Tickle Me was a bootleg, so incredibly cheeky of them to use RCA Victor on the label! That said, i kind of like it even more now i know its a boot 🤣 I think I've given the impression that I'm done with collecting vinyl for good, when i only meant that I need to slow down the pace of purchasing considerably. Take care my friend
Some nice finds there Sean. Looking forward to the next video. Everybody should see TTWII, fan or not. For me it really shows & proves how spectacular a performer he was. Thanks again Sean 👍
It won't be the last you buy ,won't be able to help yourself lol I said the same thing when I packed up my collection and put it in storage in New Zealand lol ,yea only being here in Australia less than one year and have just sent home 100 albums ,have another 20 sitting here to send .that's not counting the 200 singles I have sitting in front of me 😂
@@sincerelyelvispresley Not your fault Sean! I am now looking for somebody over there who will buy the teeshirts I want, send them to me, and allow me to pay them
Another walk around would be great too mate
Consider it done, I'll record it in the next couple of weeks or so and maybe do a bit of a commentary this time
What!?! No more used vinyl? I'll believe it when I don't see it. Some great finds there, Sean.
🤣 you may well have a point there David, I'm now off to watch your new vid 😉
I don't have vinyls but I'm always curious about other's puchases...they are often real pieces of art ❤ Thanks a lot for sharing with us.
Thank you, glad you enjoy seeing them, the artwork definitely lends itself perfectly to the larger format
Great Elvis records
Thank you 👍🏻

Hi Jeff, glad to know you'll be watching, good on Mark!
Some great purchases there Mark, I used to love the bootlegs back in the day, I always thought there was something dangerous about owning bootlegs
Oh completely agree, I've always been drawn to the dark world of the bootleg. And speaking of dark worlds, must congratulate you on your psychic powers, at least that's what I'm putting the fact that you knew that my middle name's Mark down to 🤣
@@sincerelyelvispresley sorry Sean, I had just stopped speaking to someone called mark
Absolutely no need to apologise, and my middle name genuinely is Mark 😊

Great stuff Sean 👏🏻 and I absolutely love your t-shirt ❤
Thank you 🙂 I really like that Stay Away Joe shot, and the shirt has the Triumph logo at the bottom. TCB With Me produce some good stuff!
Looking forward. Awesome Elvis photo cover with the an original logo made as an import vinyl idea.

Thanks Gary, agree that TTWII is a must see for anyone that has the slightest interest in music 👍🏻
Do you think you could do a updated room tour
I sure can, I'll get one done in the next couple of weeks 👍🏻
Great stuff Seán. Such a feeling when you get new Elvis stuff to add to the collection. Brian from Ireland. Love the channel
Hey Brian, good to know a name 😊 thank you, yes new Elvis stuff is a real buzz isn't it? Thanks for sticking with the channel 👍🏻

Yeah, you're probably spot on Paul, but y'know, best endeavours and all that 🤣
Just went to check those teeshirts out and they won't ship to Australia. Get annoyed with people who think we are still bloody convicts
Oh that's a shame, sorry, I didn't realise
@@sincerelyelvispresley Not your fault Sean! I am now looking for somebody over there who will buy the teeshirts I want, send them to me, and allow me to pay them
If you message David directly through his eBay store, I'm pretty sure you'll be able to get something sorted out
I did. No reply yet.
Careful buying from Lee in Whales, Mate. He's screwed over several collectors, myself included. Not to be trusted.
