Yea yea yea no more record hauls lol , I just about split my sides when I saw this video pop up ! , I think you are just going to have to admit my friend that you have a problem like the rest of us !!! Told my wife I was cutting back too ,then 6 yes 6 parcels arrived for me at the post office. Great records though, love the loving you one , and love the prices as well great bargains
I knew there'd be some eye rolling Paul, that's why I dropped it without any fanfare 🤣 I know I've said it before, but I really am running out of space, and putting stuff anywhere but my office really isn't an option. If you tune in tonight, you may see what I mean 😉
Hey my friend ,great haul , I might have the purple "Always on my mind "but you have the blue "Reconsider baby" so we are even😂😂 btw I love the 50th anniversary albums with the stickers on them , the new years video is fantastic!!! See you sunday👋
Thanks brother, I know what you mean about the 50th anniversary stickers, if I know an album came with them, I don't want it if it hasn't got one 🤣 that's why I still haven't managed to pick up a copy of Gold Records Vol 5, although I do have the Friday Music version of that. Enjoy your Sunday 🙂
I'm saying nothing. 😅Seriously, though, great finds. That double LP on the Madison label just shows how much better the original covers could have been with a bit more attention.
Cheers David, yes I agree, the Madison title really shows what's possible with care and attention. I was chuffed to get that one, although must admit I'd have preferred it if it had been one of the coloured vinyl variants!
Great purchases Sean, i keep meaning to go to a record fair in Stamford as i dont live that far away, i will certainly go to the next one as you got some great records, records that you generally dont see. Julie
Hi Julie, definitely worth a visit. Interestingly a dealer gave me a card and said he has a warehouse in Oakham with 1000s of albums for sale, including 5 huge boxes of Elvis. If you want, I can let you have his contact details
@SoniaCornwell it's Brian Webster of Rutland Records, which isn't much use really, sorry I hadn't thought that the message wouldn't get posted if you try and include personal details. Which I guess is understandable
Thankyou Sean for the info on Brian, I think I know him but thought he had retired, he used to have a record stall on a Saturday in Grantham and Northampton in the week. Once again thankyou. Julie
Good Afternoon From Brisbane Australia. Shaun, I have been watching your channel for sometime, but have never posted a comment till now. Firstly, love your presentation, your video feeds show your love of all things Elvis. I quite admirer your Elvis book collection, I have many of the titles you have. Can I point you to some other's that you may be missing. "Elvis and Gladys": Elain Dundy; 2024 University Press of Mississippi Jackson, "Race, Rock, And Elvis": Michael T. Bertrand; 2000 University of Illinois Press, "Elvis, From Memphis to Hollywood": Alan Fortas and Alanna Nash; 2008 Aurum Press LTD. If you already have these titles, that's fab, if not, they will be an invaluable Elvis resource for your growing Elvis library. Again to reiterate, love your Elvis channel and presentation, you do a sterling showing every time. I do have a request. Could you please do a book review of some of the titles you have and your opinion of them in a future video, meanwhile, stay safe and go well.
Hi Terry, great to hear from you and thank you for the kind words. I do have a first edition hardback of the Elaine Dundy title, but not the other two. I've looked at the Alan Fortas book several times, but it fetches pretty high prices. You can be sure that I plan on covering pretty much everything I have at some point. I'm enjoying doing the year by year series, but when I came up with the idea, I hadn't quite appreciated how long it would take, because originally I'd just planned to do just one episode per year, and that idea quickly went right out of the window! 🤣
Some nice items there Sean! My budget this month has gone on the Graceland Through The Years book from Boxcar. Incidentally, have you bought any records direct from Music On Vinyl and did you receive a customs charge notice at all? Regards, Gary
Hiya Gary, good choice there, the Boxcar Graceland book is a fine one. I think I did get the black vinyl From Elvis In Memphis from MOV direct, but I don't recall any customs charges, so I may be mistaken on that
I love seeing the things I wish I had, especially the books. Always look forward to seeing you're videos. Thanks 👍
Hi Tim, thank you so much for your kind words and thanks for supporting the channel, it means a lot!
Beautiful vinyl and boxsets..!..greets from the Netherlands 😊
Thank you Edward! greetings to you too 😊
Wow! Thanks for the cool channel, your great delivery and for the shout out for my book. Appreciated. Enjoy your haul! L ⚡️

Great Video 🎙🎶🥂
Cheers Paul 👍🏻 Rebooked is, indeed, a beauty! 😊
I'm going up the road tomorrow to get the king of fashion book, thanks for that.
Luv the show.
Nice one! I'm sure you'll find it an enjoyable read 👍🏻
The Elain Dundy title was published in 2004 not 2024. My apologies for the miss print. Go well.
Great haul especially the Madison vinyl release. Thank for a great share of all you got this time. REBOOKED:EXCELLENT release.
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed 🙂
Thanks for the shoutout
You're more than welcome 👍🏻

@@sincerelyelvispresley collecting sure is fun😁😁 have a great sunday and thank's again for the tip for my thumbnail and title👍👍👍
Great haul Sean. Elvis: The King of Fashion isn’t released here until mid-Nov, but on by list. Cheers, Jeff
Thanks Jeff, well worth the wait, I'm sure you'll enjoy it 👍🏻
Nice pick-ups! The local record fair here always seems to be on a day that I’m not around…. Which might be a good thing 🤑
Thanks Steve, yes, sometimes I wish temptation wasn't put in front of me!
For a moment you made me believe it was Sunday, shame on me😂.
🤣 sorry, thought I'd just drop a cheeky one in a day early. Look on the bright side though - that means it isn't Monday tomorrow!

No problem Julie, sorry the restrictions wouldn't let me share anything more detailed

Wife's are great though, once they divorce us for buying all this we can set up a big swap meet 😂
I do like the idea of some kind of collective forum for swapping Elvis stuff, I reckon that idea would have legs!
