Go other parts of LA like Sherman Oaks or Hollywood or Malibu etc but making sure the tour is full is important because we mainly want to see it all

This house beats The One in everything hands down. Construction costs around $50M (plus change). Absolutely love it. The only thing which kind of breaks the image is those portable The Home Depot heaters around the deck. They could have used some better ideas and used something which doesn’t look cheap

The party goers & owners of this place seem to go to the bathroom quite a lot, at the same time. 8 bedroom and 21 bathrooms? I understand people who own & who are invited to places like this drink every second of the day, so they need to relieve themselves quite frequently; but still, 21 bathrooms is a bit extreme. At least 5 or 6 or those bathrooms could have been combined with the main hallway or living room into a truly eye popping room... worthy of a place that is basically $100M. But, yes, in terms of actual material & build quality, in a sensible way (not showy in a cheap, plastic, neon-light oversaturation manner).... very few other place around $100M could beat this. Unfortunately, the acreage is non-existence, for a place close to $100M, a price tag you could build an equally opulent place with at least 100 acres surrounding it, in 1800 like French style garden, in another equally nice but different environment.
Fav thing by Mid video is the overall layout and the rounded window tops and curves. The multiple bars and the Kitchen are all awesome. The floor is awesome. So hard to pick a favorite thing.
40 minute tours 😍 for houses that you can actually justify spending 40 minutes on. But yeah mega mansions are always fun and its always good to catch Ryan outside of New York.

Made!! 💫 I had the opportunity to tour this home about two months ago, and it was absolutely incredible!! The lower level was a total wellness center, and the amenities in the home were insane! I’d say the dry sauna was my favorite. My guess for the total construction cost would be $44,250,888 ☺️

This house is insanely big and ridiculously impressive in terms of how many rooms it has . I can see why it’s so expensive not only bc how big it is , but also the quality of the materials that have been used for the home features. Even if I think the house is pretty ,I think decor wise, it could have been better . Especially the fist two floor that are ordinary and bland compare to the basement in term of the decor and design(even though I’m not a fan of the dark background with all the coloured lights) , especially for a house this pricey(just my opinion). Otherwise I enjoyed this tour with Ryan’s slick slides 😂.

20:11 I have never seen a full black shower. I want to see more full-black rooms and spaces! It's very interesting! Also it's the first time hearing of this leather finish on stones... Seems very interesting. On first glance it looks like a kind of polish that is uneven on purpose to add texture while keeping a level of sheen and smoothness.
Awesome tour as always! Love it!!! Just one tiny suggestion: it would be better if your camera man could quickly follow and show the things you were pointing to or mentioning. I noticed there were a few times that there was a delay - a bit too long, or, when the camera was trying to capture the thing, it showed only part of it. In other words, the flow of the video and your talk need to be better matched. But, overall, it was an awesome video tour! Ryan, your charm and passion and professionalism have triumphed everything. I love your videos!!!!!
I wonder how long one could live in this house before the owners find out? I estimate the land value to be around 1.5 million and the construction value to be around 16.5 million. BTW 78 million divided by 41000 is $1904/sqft. That is 3 times my rent per sqft.
@@bahroum69 When the county assesses the land value, I don't think they look at the view. That is added by the developer and client. Generally speaking, where I am from, you won't get a loan or a line of credit if the sale of land exceeds the governmental value by 10 percent or so.
This is why i love America and will love to live and work there soon. They embody the true human experience in everything. From the house to what they've built in a Hilly location that they've turned into the most expensive destination on planet earth, to the typical American personality expemlified by Ryan here to the complete attention to detail, luxury and comfort in this home. This is a home to live and die for. This is how all the houses in the United States are, they are put on the market with a high value and they spend a few months and at half the price, in reality they are not as expensive as they say
More like a few years. This particular house was first listed in 2018 gulp! For 100 mil no less. And while some of the finishes are quite tasty, it does seem a little bit too large and it's biggest drawback at least to me is the lot size. Why build such a large large house on such a tiny lot? I've never understood why L.A. builders/buyers seem allergic to spacious grounds.
@@annonymously331 I get that logic for the "ordinary" big boy (10-30ish) million dollar homes. But for homes in this price range, where the buyer pool is extremely thin and very discerning, that's just a lazy pov from said builders. And it explains, to some extent, why homes like this sit on the market forever and undergo hefty price cuts. Also LA isn't the only city in the world with crazy land prices, the others seem to build more proportionate houses (again, especially in this 80+ mill price range)

This is why super rich families often have subordinate families to the main like the Japanese do. If its mafia the managers are the family members or the trusted members. Basically the duty usually isn't on the buyer. He's far too rich and busy to worry about the estate.

I love this house so much but out of all the videos I’ve watched of this house I’ve never once seen the gate and the entrance to come into the house. I always wondered what it looked like.
I would have to say that the craftsmanship for this home is exceptional and the attention to detail is unreal. The quality looks exceptional. I would guess that the construction costs of this home is in the ballpark of $55 million.
Amazing place! I’d turn it in a “boutique hotel” (if license to run it was allowed, of course), so many people could enjoy all its features. Nice video!
What's amazing also is that this house jumped down from 78 million to 59 million in one year.
You can feel his feelings and genuine excitement in showing this wonderful listing.

Ryan I think this is the best tour I’ve ever watched from you. I usually don’t care about the really big homes because they seem very museum like but this house feels very livable. I mean I could live there by myself. 😂 It’s an awesome house with all that you need and then some. So odd that your selling a 40,000 square foot home for 78 mill and then selling a penthouse that may be only be 10 to 20% of the size of this for almost twice the price. Great job Ryan.

This house is insanely big and ridiculously impressive in terms of how many rooms it has . I can see why it’s so expensive not only bc how big it is , but also the quality of the materials that have been used for the home features. Even if I think the house is pretty ,I think decor wise, it could have been better . Especially the fist two floor that are ordinary and bland compare to the basement in term of the decor and design(even though I’m not a fan of the dark background with all the coloured lights) , especially for a house this pricey(just my opinion). Otherwise I enjoyed this tour with Ryan’s slick slides 😂.
I notice a kind of '70s vibe with lots of these new-build L.A. mansions. Lots of brown.
I'm sure it was decorated better when they lived there. Considering everything is empty ( closets, refrigerator ) I'm guessing it's all staging.

Also it's the first time hearing of this leather finish on stones... Seems very interesting. On first glance it looks like a kind of polish that is uneven on purpose to add texture while keeping a level of sheen and smoothness.

Awesome tour as always! Love it!!! Just one tiny suggestion: it would be better if your camera man could quickly follow and show the things you were pointing to or mentioning. I noticed there were a few times that there was a delay - a bit too long, or, when the camera was trying to capture the thing, it showed only part of it. In other words, the flow of the video and your talk need to be better matched. But, overall, it was an awesome video tour! Ryan, your charm and passion and professionalism have triumphed everything. I love your videos!!!!!

I estimate the land value to be around 1.5 million and the construction value to be around 16.5 million. BTW 78 million divided by 41000 is $1904/sqft. That is 3 times my rent per sqft.

@@bahroum69 When the county assesses the land value, I don't think they look at the view. That is added by the developer and client. Generally speaking, where I am from, you won't get a loan or a line of credit if the sale of land exceeds the governmental value by 10 percent or so.

This is how all the houses in the United States are, they are put on the market with a high value and they spend a few months and at half the price, in reality they are not as expensive as they say
More like a few years. This particular house was first listed in 2018 gulp! For 100 mil no less.
And while some of the finishes are quite tasty, it does seem a little bit too large and it's biggest drawback at least to me is the lot size. Why build such a large large house on such a tiny lot? I've never understood why L.A. builders/buyers seem allergic to spacious grounds.

But for homes in this price range, where the buyer pool is extremely thin and very discerning, that's just a lazy pov from said builders. And it explains, to some extent, why homes like this sit on the market forever and undergo hefty price cuts.
Also LA isn't the only city in the world with crazy land prices, the others seem to build more proportionate houses (again, especially in this 80+ mill price range)
I'm really curious if the people who buy these houses live in them for the rest of their lives... or if they are just traded like a commodity?
They last like a decade or two or something before they tear it down lol
