@@randomahhuser it's like a high end hotel with various amenities. The design choices depends on taste. Aside from high cost, the sheer size and location....I personally do not find the overall design to really stand out. @@IronCan88 yea- I see ur point now... doesn't seem like something u can call "home" seems more for something like a place u can rent for vacation or if ur having a huge slumber party, and u can rent there
I can’t get over how much square footage is dedicated to nothing. Just open, flat marble. I love a grand home as much as the next person but the lack of wood and warmth makes it feel more like a business or resort than a home.
I have probably seen at least 5 TH-camrs "try" to give a tour of this house and none have been as extensive, detailed and informed as you guys. Also, the whole production value is just amazing and extremely professional.
haha, i was thinking the same .. either you are super famous with a bunch of entourage flocking you everywhere or you have 4 wives and 55 kids. There is no way this is practical with a family of 5
Honestly this house is just plain stupid!! I'm not surprised it's still on the market, I mean who would wanna live in this soulless white box. It might just be my taste but the house has no character, no warmth, no design, Just huge and tasteless🤦🏾♂️
My house isn’t even a literal corner of this place! It could be one of the sweets, at best! But I’m still grateful for it. 1,400 square feet compared to 105,000! I can’t wrap my head around it!
Agreed. Way too over the top. I would be bored out of my mind! It's like an office building. That is just way too large and cold looking. I liked the indoor pool. And it was a beautiful view. I'd rather have a very nice cabin in Jackson Hole. If I had that kind of money. I would own 2 or three much smaller homes around the country in the mountains/wilderness and on the ocean. Maybe a boat for a lake house and a small yacht for the beach house. Basically vacation areas. Or I would buy all the homes on one very private dead end on the water some where and give all the houses except one (for myself) to my family and friends. Just enough to have privacy and space without needing a golf cart to go to the bathroom.
I can't imagine what type of person would build, or want to live in, this kind of monument to themselves. Like living in a high-end mall that nobody shops in and telling yourself how great you are. I'm surprised there aren't more mirrors so you can look at yourself from anywhere you stand. All I could think of is the Metallica song King Nothing.
I like Enes' down-to-earth presentations, he lets the houses speak for themselves. In my opinion this is how a real estate agent should be! Great content as usual.
Generally, yes ... but they didn't put nearly enough time in this one. The guest house, its swimming pool, the tennis court, etc., etc. ... were not shown. The club had a lot more of stuff to be shown in it ... Too little material from for this monster. :( And it was worth it, since it's so special - there's nothing like it. :(
I remember watching a tour you did Enes back in 2020 where you toured a home that looked towards the one and I remember you turning to Mikey and saying hopefully we get to tour that when it is finished, now two years later here you are! The channel has grown massively in size! Congrats Enes!
Finally! A lot of YT personalities have covered the tour of this property but you guys are the only one who make it feel like a home. One thing I really love in the way you showcase a property is that I can map out the place in my mind, and it felt like I was actually there with you. Great Job Enez, Mikey and the entire team. I'm not crying. You're crying.
This is so big it doesn't feel like a home anymore, but like a unique self contained office-suite / mini-mall where all the employees just stay on site and sell meals, movie tickets, or manicures to each other.
Some southern plantation slave owners housed all their workers in their house. They worked cheap but couldn't afford to live anywhere so they were fed and just lived there. It was usually a mansion too. They lived like the rich, just wasn't making any money.
As an electrician I saw something that pissed me off. At the juice bar by the gym. There were pendant lights. One of the pendant lights had a different color temperatures than the other ones.
This is a testament to Enes' unique way of showing. Ive seen every house tour/review of this house and this is the first one that makes it look pleasant and livable. Enes, I hope you get a commission because if any billionaire out there is going to buy this house, its because they watched this video first!
it's too expensive for what you're getting. and it's ugly. It seems like some sort of luxury brands HQ actually this is priced similarly to a big tech HQ building.
Mortgage payment aside Just Imagine the other monthly expenses that would be associated with it. But I guess it would not matter to anyone who could afford, to buy a 295,000,000 million home. especially if they buy it with cash. It is to contemporary with the marble floors , chandeliers and expensive artwork it is kind of like living in a museum
You're both the only guys that I can stand to listen to give house tours, always so wholesome and enthusiast without faking anything, this really sets you apart form the other property channels, You've actually made this behemoth seem homely despite the size, thanks again for the great content
Producer has this listening on TH-cam as well, but I think Enes & Mickey makes it more detailed which gives feeling of personally visited the property. Keep up the good work boys you're awesome. Btw I wouldn't buy this house it looks more like an hotel then a cozy home. French home listed at 141 millions is way nicer
If someone buys this and turns it into a hotel I would totally stay here! Sadly I cannot afford to buy it but as another commenter writer earlier on, this is the best tour of this place I have seen to date. The listing agents have also furnished it with more warming tones and furniture which does make it look more warm and liveable. Great job gang! Xx
@@EnesYilmazer That is a great idea, for the buyer to turn it into a hotel. The investment would be made back, and so many people could enjoy it. Fantastic video!!😗👏👏
Please, I hope no one ever turns this into a hotel. This must stay a single family home or, perhaps, the new addition sold as separate from the main home, depending on James Goldstein's wishes. I hate the fact that only a rich person will be able to buy this home but my hope is that this rich person isn't a douchebag without taste.
Mind boggling, it is. As much as the size, scale, and incredible attention to detail overwhelmes, I'd be hard pressed to call it a home. A home has a strong energy imprint left by those who have shared their lives and experiences within the walls of a dwelling. Due to its size, it would be almost impossible to feel any connection beyond being overwhelmed.
In today climate and with all the imbalance of the haves and have-nots I would be embarrassed to call it my home. I am also predicting that mansions in general are going to nosedive in value especially with the new paradigm of ''we will own nothing and be happier'' Resource depletion and the climate crisis will put an end to what we deem as valuable and desirable.
@@MICKEYISLOWD I think the idea is that the super rich will still have everything as before... it's just the plebs that will own nothing and be happy ;)
To me, it had a commercial business vibe to it. Like a bank, a strip mall or something. Very overwhelming indeed! I am more of a traditional person when it comes to the house. A farmhouse, English Tudor or an A-frame would suffice nicely.
There is a great reason behind why we want Enes to tour houses. He never misses a detail, shows the essentials, and that too in a neat manner unlike other similar channels. Plus Mikey's camera work is absolutely brilliant. Good to see this getting wrapped up in one video rather than getting divided into two part feature film sized ones.
I love Mikey's camera work. No matter how fast Enes rushes to show everything, Mikey is always spot on and it never feels dizzy watching the videos. Great team work. Love from India :)

There's certainly some very "sexy" stuff here, but this is really more like a conference center/resort/hotel campus vibe. It's easy to appreciate the creativity that goes in to these architectural extravaganzas, but I suspect that even the wealthiest owner would end up feeling pretty lonely and never even begin to utilize the space and amenities. It's a delightful visual flight-of -fancy, though, and I have always LOVED the idea of a "modern moat". Cool tour.
It reminds me of UBS's office at Liverpool Street in London where I used to work. Impressive building but very sterile, absolutely nothing homely about it.
Yeah, it’s not somewhere I would wanna live. I wouldn’t mind vacationing in it for a few weeks. I actually think that would be a really enjoyable experience. But after a while, it would feel big and empty.
Piano in entry way and replace couches with chase lounges. I’d change the flooring to a luxury wood instead of stone starting past the entry day. The office needs a sliding ladder to make the ebook shelf functional and a secret safe door.
FINALLY! MY GOD I'VE WAITED FOR THIS FOR ALMOST A YEAR! Enes and his crew inside this house! All videos of this house so far are extremely lackluster and sometimes downright badly made, and you will excuse me Producer Michael. Finally I can picture this house with the best camera shots, the best presenter and the best editing on youtube! It'll be a delight!
I’ve watched many many tours of this house and none of them compares to this one. All of your tours are clear, informative and you can see every single little detail. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!
This space would be much better suited for commercial purposes considering how ridiculously enormous it is. Not to mention that the house’s monochromatic, minimalistic, function-centric design reduces it’s capacity to feel like an actual home, further making the case that this will likely fill a corporation’s needs and not a family’s.
10:20 Enes is such an erudite and sophisticated man and something that proves his intelligence are his good manners and respect for other human beings 👏
Not an exaggeration when I say regarding this home: * Getting lost in your own house is possible * Having to phonecall someone in your own home might be necessary * Someone could be in your home and go undetected for a while * This is actually a mesmerising home and I'm glad to watch it here first.
He’s doing better than anybody else, especially that Producer Michael vid where that guy kept going on and on about how the house would “change the world”
@@bmpmedia7306 ikr they should have Enes doing the first ever tour of the house, in his own process. Maybe this way the house wouldn't be roasted by the entire world.
I cannot imagine the logistics and cost of just running this home. The home MUST come with an array of different crews and contractors that clean, cook, and maintain this HUGE house. I also will never understand why someone would even need something this over the top. It might take them years to even enter every room in the house for an actual reason haha. It's truly overkill! It's still absolutely amazing of course.
With all the surface space to dust and clean, all the pools to clean, I'd think you'd need a household staff the size of that of a small ocean cruiseship.
It's also an investment, this will probably increase a lot in value in the future. It's probably gonna be rented out in periods as well. Edit: After seeing this house has been going down in value from the initial 500mill price tag years ago, I take back everything I said :p This is a complete fail investment wise. Too big and impratical, with an enormous cost in property tax alone.
So it is possible to have too much of a good thing. The interior dimensions are so massive that it feels like we are touring a super luxurious airport rather than someone's home.
You can use different bathroom every day of the month. Someone can probably sneak into your house and live there for a day or two without being noticed (maybe even a month depending on how good they're at hiding and avoiding security).
I know I could live there at least 3 years before someone noticed Remember there will be cooks Pool cleaners Therapist Hair cutters Trainers Landscapers Mechanics Several people involved in cleansing home repair people The list just keeps going
Having seen many tours of this house I think this pre public auction staging is beautiful and who else to finally sell this house than Enes Yilmazer...and the choice of shooting the video at golden hour brought out the magic of the house..big ups to Mikey...his camera work and editing skills are unrivalled in this industry

I'm just thinking about those horror stories where people have found out about strangers secretly living in their attic/walls but in this house someone could probably secretly live in a whole bedroom lmao
I would make this a resort space for multiple guest. It really has the feel of multiple people to be entertained constantly. Couldn’t imagine one family living here.
it's not a place to live in... this kind of places is a need of owning it for the richest people on the globe... not neceserly for the living in it purpose.
Forget the homes, I wanna thank you for the amazing tours. Let's talk about how gracefully yet candidly you talk about everything, with a human touch. And Mikey? This video did not mention the staff needed to run this place, nor their living quarters. You would need at least 4 full time live-in housekeepers, 2 personal maids for the women of the house, a nanny for the young children, 1 butler for the man, and another butler for the family. A full-time live-in chef and a kitchen assistant, a landscaper-gardener, and a general operations/houseman who maintains and fixes all the electrical, mechanical, construction issues. And, perhaps at least two personal assistants for the man and lady of the house. Also, a chauffeur/driver who would run errands and bring in deliveries. A security chief would also be needed, since every west L.A. social-climbing freak would try to break into the property just to take a selfie and post on social media. This is just the bare staff for the residents. For parties, events and functions, you will need valets, caterers, party planners, event staff, and a larger security staff, as well as a huge set-up and janitorial crew. The larger the property, the larger the team needed to run it. This building is a cross between a plush private resort hotel and a large grand office building plaza complex. The problem will be selling it, because there are only a handful of billionaires who would be able to buy it, and most likely, they would either modify it or tear it down and rebuild to suit their own needs. Super rich people do not adapt themselves to other people's homes. They need homes designed specifically to their every whim and taste, so it would not be easy to unload this mega mansion without dropping the price considerably, knowing that the next owner will redecorate it to his taste.
I'm in awe! Can you imagine living in a home where you need a GPS to get around? This is absolutely extraordinary. I'm sure it took him weeks, just to learn the layout to be able to give this tour. I would definitely need a map.

The only way I could imagine living in a place like this is if I invited my entire extended family. I feel like I'd need to make plans to visit someone who's room is on the other side of the house 😂
It wouldn't be nearly enough anyway. In order this place felt cosy and alive you would need also to move in there all your friends with their families and also all your neighbours from the place you lived before.
This place would be great for an apocalypse survivor group. Plenty of sleeping space, great vantage point, huge area for growing food, gyms would come in handy. And living in a high end home doesn't sound all that bad.
Nice suggestion, if SHTF I’ll put it in my post apocalypse massacre radar and move my toxic Alpha male army officers and Simp and Karen feminist slaves into it.
Imagine packing up to move out! It would take two years! I will say I had tears watching this because of how beautiful the sunset hit each spot ( I love sunsets) I litteraly imagined my asking my entire family hey do you wanna sale your houses and move here? ( only fantasizing I could never afford this) but I would move ever aunt and uncle and cousin I had! It would be amazing. No 1 family can occupy this home and get to enjoy all of it. It’s to big. But now your whole family living with you would be amazing! And you definitely would not see them everyday! This is such a beautiful home! My room would be the last one her showed that had the area you can walk out on with the personal pool! ❤

well, the entire property has been restaged from the first tour with producer michael, and the fake flowers, literally, every single item that was in the first tour is gone and the entire place was redone and some areas reconfigured. actually, the red art gallery is the same, but that's it. sure, Enes and Mikey knocked it out of the park, but if the inside was left intact from the first tour, they wouldn't have gotten very far. give credit where it's due, the realtors and stagers kicked it, hard!
All I can think of is: I could roller skate through this entire house, all day long! I once helped a property manager clean and prepare a 10,000 SF house in Jackson Hole, WY. for Christmas, hanging decorations on rooftops and eaves, it was incredible! The size of that 3 story ski-in ski-out house was enormous, this house is more than TEN times larger! My aching head! Imagine the light bill???? I still want to skate on those Italian marble floors!

I’ve driven around this house and it’s truly astonishing. I literally could not even begin to guess how much the owner would be spending monthly just to maintain a property of this scale. Wow. Great video! Thanks for the tour! Best real estate channel on TH-cam
Between taxes and the staff required it wouldn't surprise me too much if it pushed a million a month to maintain. Probably only a few hundred people in the world could afford this... and it kind of looks like none of those few hundred are interested. I wonder what the listing agent commission is negotiated to... she is probably looking forward to being set for the rest of her life and retiring off of this one transaction.

If you can't afford a small emergency expense like a waterpump, you're clearly not saving a dime. Of course, the fact that they live paycheck-to-paycheck was made clear by the inability to come up with a couple hundred dollars until payday. Doing something about your own behaviors or obsessing about people who have more than you. One of them can make you wealthier, the other not so much.

I don't like it, no one should be that wealthy, it's abominable. I'd like to see the backroom stuff - where the staff live and work, the kitchens, service rooms etc. I like how things work.

Doesn't the auction fee come out of the total? If you sold something for $100,000 then the auction house would give you $88,000 after their 12% cut. Therefore wouldn't $110,880,000 be the cut after fees?
This house sold at auction last week for $126 million. The true value of a house is not what the seller asks, it’s what the buyer pays. This would make a great spa resort.

In the early 2000s, I had the opportunity to tour Larry Ellison's $150 million estate in Woodside, CA. That place was truly amazing. There was nothing tacky or gawdy about it. There was a man made lake that everything was built around, which included a button where he could control the level of fog over the water. The materials he used were divine. There were Japanese tea houses all around the lake. Every little detail displayed the highest level of materials and craftsmanship. He flew in wood workers from Japan because they were the best in their trade. My boyfriend worked there. They all stayed in a home nearby that his employer rented out, and they would shuttle to work every day. They used hand tools that looked medieval. The first couple hours of the day, they would spend just sharpening their tools with these little stone blocks. The tools would be carefully rolled up in a leather pouch. The roofs on the home and the tea houses were a work of art. Everything was so warm and so natural and beautiful. I truly can't find the words to describe it. If I was wealthy, I could live in a home like that, and I could justify the money spent because everything was meticulously hand crafted. The home and the materials were at one with nature. Every inch of the property felt warm and inviting and natural. This place, The One, is cold and a bit gawdy. They use nice materials, but there's nothing warm or natural about it. A lot of the materials don't really look any different than what you would find at Home Depot. It's just big and cold. I think it would make a fabulous destination for events, like a wedding, but I can't imagine it ever feeling like a home.
Insane view, but just too gigantic. All these huge open empty spaces inside, just makes it feel cold and uncomfortable, like a modern minimal hotel lobby. Also, to keep this clean and maintained, you need dozens of staff lurking around in your house, which I can imagine might get quite annoying.
the people who can afford this kind of stuff are probably used to it. it wont be a single family home this will be a home that entertains many guests of a high caliber.

Rich Chinese family with relatives 10-20 people could live there. You executed this tour perfectly. I’d turn the cigar room into a coffee room. To make coffee every way shape or form & every blend.
There’s a fine line between buying an expensive home for comfort and buying a home just because it’s expensive. I can’t imagine why someone would think about the first one to buy this house
It's like every single modern white on white on white mansion in LA all shoved into one megamall of every "rich person" trope ever. Other than being huge this house feels sterile and looks like every other house in this style, which is already looking and feeling dated. I like the chrome giraffe though and some lighting features. But it's just trying way too hard, meanwhile affordable housing is becoming more and more rare as the divide between income brackets stretches on and farther and farther apart, like the view from an unused, second heated infinity pool.
Oi, that came out reeeaaally bitter. I don't think those things of this channel just saying. I love that they also feature incredible unique properties of all kinds, this particular one just feels so overindulgent and gross.

It's more of a resort than a home.. I don't think I'd ever want to actually live there. I think a smaller house should do.

They need homes designed specifically to their every whim and taste, so it would not be easy to unload this mega mansion without dropping the price considerably, knowing that the next owner will redecorate it to his taste.

well, the entire property has been restaged from the first tour with producer michael, and the fake flowers, literally, every single item that was in the first tour is gone and the entire place was redone and some areas reconfigured. actually, the red art gallery is the same, but that's it. sure, Enes and Mikey knocked it out of the park, but if the inside was left intact from the first tour, they wouldn't have gotten very far. give credit where it's due, the realtors and stagers kicked it, hard!
Hello ✋
It was so refreshing to finally see a tour of this place without being drowned out by the crazy developer talking a bunch on nonsense. Great job guys!
Exactly!
Amen to this!
glad you like the property and video!
The light bill, and it's in California! Must make AL Gore salivate.
That sounds awesome. You need a bike inside it.

Enes is great but he is too professional for this house. This is a clown house, and the best tour of this house is without question the OG tour, Producer Michael. Plus part 3 with Nile's confession is out of this world.

I’ve driven around this house and it’s truly astonishing. I literally could not even begin to guess how much the owner would be spending monthly just to maintain a property of this scale. Wow. Great video! Thanks for the tour! Best real estate channel on TH-cam
The financial company that did the lending have took it from the owner/developer recently, because he can't do the up keep.
thank you Matthew! really appreciate it!

The property is obviously impressive , but at no time did it ever look like “home “ to me. Looks like an exotic vacation spot , or lodging for the super rich. But not what I would call home.
You just said that cause you can’t afford it 😂😂😂
@@juliangarces6431 even if I could afford this, it’s not what I see when I think of a home. That’s my personal opinion though! Some people may love it. It’s just too much upkeep and way too big. Even if I had everyone I loved in that house, it’s still too much. It’s definitely beautiful though.
Yeah I’m with you , Beautiful Home . Has anything you could dream of …. That Bowling alley definitely took me out lol . But when you think of HOME …. It’s just literally too much to handle . I don’t wanna walk half a mile to get a drink out the fridge . That’s a little overwhelming.

@@toeknee5777 *"...when like my neighbor and his wife work 50 hours a week..but have to walk to work till payday so they can replace the waterpump in their 10 year old car"*
I'm afraid your neighbor is financially irresponsible, or is allowing his wife to be financially irresponsible.
As impressive a building it is, it's hard for me to visualize it as a home. That is unless one fantasizes about living in a shopping mall museum alone, or enjoys having 50 other people reside with them. But a great tour none the less.
I don't like it, no one should be that wealthy, it's abominable. I'd like to see the backroom stuff - where the staff live and work, the kitchens, service rooms etc. I like how things work.

With some additional decor and furnishing, this could actually be a really a nice home. I'd love to stay there cuz it's perfectly spacious ❤
The mega-mansion known as “The One” sold Thursday 3/1/22 for $126 million at a bankruptcy auction. That’s a huge discount from its $295-million listing price, even with a 12% auction fee bringing the total to about $141 million.
Yeah I remember this house on the news. It’s not move on ready either - I think it needed additional certificates
BARGAIN!
Doesn't the auction fee come out of the total? If you sold something for $100,000 then the auction house would give you $88,000 after their 12% cut. Therefore wouldn't $110,880,000 be the cut after fees?
and dont forget the first announced listing price was $500 million
I wonder who bought it and with what intention. Wow. 126 million is so hard to fathom
This house sold at auction last week for $126 million. The true value of a house is not what the seller asks, it’s what the buyer pays. This would make a great spa resort.
Margot...this is still something to reflect on that any individual would place such a vast amount of capital in such a vanity/greed project whether a Caiman Islands company or a Russian shell business. How many poor people on the streets of LA could be given a break with 126 million?
@@rjmacf0015 The reason I said this would be a good resort is because I can’t see this place as a dwelling. I don’t think anyone would actually want to live there, even the one who bought it. It’s better to turn it into a hotel.
I bet it cost more than 125 mil to build it
@@GratiaCountryman If douchebaggery had a physical address, it would the construction in the video whatever. I'd never call that abomination a house.
A hotel maybe.. a resort of whatever.
@@paulgallagher2937 I can‘t assess the „art“ pieces but regarding the construction and the materialisation: less than 70 mil
I agree
Yeah.
Congratulations your comment took more time than building the house took to write
Woodland? You mean Woodside?
@jdoesmath2065 Yes, Woodside. Right next to Redwood City.
Woodland is in the middle of nowhere, sort of by Davis. I will fix my comment. Thank you!
Hola, he visto este video un año atrás, quedé impactado con esta mansión, quiero saber si fue afectada por los incendios actuales de los Angeles?
Insane view, but just too gigantic. All these huge open empty spaces inside, just makes it feel cold and uncomfortable, like a modern minimal hotel lobby. Also, to keep this clean and maintained, you need dozens of staff lurking around in your house, which I can imagine might get quite annoying.
the people who can afford this kind of stuff are probably used to it. it wont be a single family home this will be a home that entertains many guests of a high caliber.
