- After 15 Years in Prison, Tommy Vercetti is back out on the streets and the Mafia is not happy, so they send him on a mission they hope he doesn't make it out of, taking over the entirety of Vice Cities underground crime activities so that they can get a slice of the pie. Along the way, Tommy is joined by an ensemble of interesting characters, some friends, some foes, and some backstabbers.

GTA Vice City's a good game but every mission physically and mentally hurts me
It has the easiest missions ever, people say demolition man is hard, you just go in the building and kill all workers with heli balde, timers don't even start yet, then you come back and pick them up and plant them, pliantly of time,. Try VCS its the hardest missions, omg Light My Pyre was so haaaard!

If you play with a controller it is not that hard. I could see it being an issue on keyboard, but with a controller if you know the flying controls it's not too hard.
(You don't need a mod to use a controller, you just have to map it.)
even with a keyboard it aint hard I just did it yesterday but it was really hard as a kid though

I agree, it’s so funny seeing memes and such on how hard it is, but when I heard that it’s commonly dubbed hard, after playing it for the first time; I was humorously baffled. Which is even more ironic as when you complete the mission and kill the consultation workers in DE you get an achievement (gold on PS), and had no trouble with that as well

Just the generic stuff that anyone would get, general fixes so it runs at a higher framerate without the game breaking, and so it runs on newer systems smoothly.
@@DarkViperAULivestreams Yeah yeah, after watching this video, I explored a bunch and found out my two favs. GTA reVC (Re3, which is reverse engineered modern optimized but with no mechanical changes) and also tried GTA Revised which is a more like remaster but very faithful to the original game
You should give vice city stories a try. I remember buying a used copy of vice city at GameStop but when I opened the case it had vice city stories in it. Good story super underrated GTA game.

with these mods- you should keep frame limiter turned on and it should limit it to 60fps, usually game physics are really f-d up. But even with this fix more than 60 is not recommended. Major thing you can see is stopping distance of any vehicle when just releasing the throttle
Who puts Right Ctrl as Sprint? My guess is left handed game designers.
I've had this suspicion since 1993 when Doom released, it had: < & > strafe keys, space to activate, & the notorious right shift to sprint. Also if left handers use the directional keys, they also use the notorious right shift key sprint. It's just my guess... My second guess would be random inconvenience
No clue where any of that comes from. Im left handed and just using WASD and left shift makes sense. Right shift and arrow keys is just ergonomically awful mo matter what.

Cant believe this is one of matt’s least favorite GTA games. I get that this game has an ungodly amount of bugs and nearly game breaking glitches with every turn you take, but if you look past all the things that make this a game and just look at the idea of all this, it’s honestly one of the most creative and interesting stories that R* has ever made. I may be bias because i live in Fort Lauderdale but lets be honest, if this game was made in the HD universe and wasn’t inconsistent with the storyline, would probably be up there with SA and 4. But everything considered this game isn’t any better than 3, which came before VC which is ironic.
playing this as a young teenager thought the graphics where amazing at the time.
So glad to see Matto trying VC again.

Knowing that somebody's been trying to get you to pay Chinatown wars makes this replay hilarious
I played this on ps2 and on pc, my god that helicopter demolition and the helicopter van destory mission were almost impossible with the controls back then. Spent many hours angry trying to beat them, eventually did, it wasnt a skill issue. Plus the time limit for both missions were less than what they are in your video.
i'm just now realising this is the uncensored version vice city with the Haitian/Cuban problems. how strange

i like vice city, the map, lots of memories of walking around, the beach, running around flying from ramps and stuff.
try to learn motorbike tricks. enjoy around
and when i was a child it wasnt this easy, it took me a year to finish it maybe.
i was too busy driving around airport is cool too. many fun memories.
since i wasnt able to pass missions that easily i was just spending time doing side and mini missions, fighting with the police.
i really liked that working office near police heli it was cool, but had to imagine many things.
stealing mike from the bike shop was also cool.
gta3 is just empty, there is nothing interesting to do other than playing the missions, and city doesnt call you for you.
i never find myself doing random things other than boding missions in gta3.
gta4 has the worse controls ever, and i dont like the character and others too much. other than its ost, gta4 is just bad i think.
i think i would rank them like:
5 online freeroam > 5 story > samp freeroam > sa > vc > 4 > 3

I never realised how little effort the main character put into his lines, everyone else is bringing such character and charisma to the roles but bouncing off Tommy is impossible cause the dialogue is so dry from him, a shame really I love this game so much

Using big name actors for voice acting is a risky venture in regards to quality. There's a reason they don't do it as much anymore, in fact, this game's development problems with Liotta was a huge chunk of that issue.
To be fair, these were the early GTA Games with voice acting, the acting got better with SA and IV, the one the stands out in my opinion in GTA VC is Ken Rosenbergs actor, be really gives it his all and also did a great job in GTA SA.
Dont know what you are talkinh about, Voice acting is great in this game.
@@chirssjay1995 well it certainly improved in the later games, going back to VC and hearing the voice acting can be a little weird as the later games like SA do it better.

GTA VC was my favorite GTA, other than GTA 3 ofc (as it was the first 3D version). It would probably change now if I played them again, but having played them in order as they came out those two were the ones I had the most fun with, and was the most hyped about at the time.
GTA 3 was such a ground breaking game back then. Now every game other game has a similar format and an open life like world, but back then it had never been done before like that and we as teenagers back then all lost our shit about it it was so cool. Especially cos you could play D'nB on the radio in the car. I still have that set as an MP3 and listen to it from time to time! 😂

3 was darker so you couldn't make out the bad details as easily Vice City was extremely bright and flashy even in the night cycle to were you notice more detail flaws San Andres is almost got everything perfectly designed for PS2 and original XBOX era hardware to were you really have to look hard to find flaws in details

chef in the alley, i didn't know you could melee and fight him with his friends. i'd first seen the mission as "drive and bail" since that's what my friend did. so i copied him, every time i'd drive a car and bail out
