What I love about your platinum videos is you actually show all the trophies! It seems like a lot of trophy hunters will say things like "at this point there was just some boring trophies to do let's skip past them" but you sow the whole process. As someone who also just did all the achievements in GTA IV on PC (luckily no multiplayer achievements on Steam), I really REALLY feel this video. The pain of doing every car pickup, street race, stunt jump and especially the pigeons is just something else. Perhaps the 20(!) street races were the worst. The trophy for 100% is actually a bit more in-depth as well, as you also need to do every available hangout with Brucie, Jacob and Packie at least once. And when I finally thought I was done, I realized that completely missed the Liberty City Minute achievement so I had to do another full playthrough. Luckily the use taxis and skipping of cutscenes meant that I was done in 9:27:00 exactly. Like I said, I felt this video. Thank you.
I remember doing this back in the day when the AWP trophy was bugged, so you had to win every race, gta race , deathmatch, tdm, complete all 3 of the missions under the developers time, all in 1 session without turning your console off 😖
Trust me man, no matter how hard the single player trophies seem, THE MULTIPLAYER TROPHIES ARE JUST ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE, especially Petrovic, and I'm proud to say I got them all in a span of 4.2 years...

I did the 100% in singleplayer back in 2009 and it felt like the biggest achievement in my gaming history back then. Even with full servers back in the day, I never bothered going for the multiplayer trophies. It was just too much (especially if you don't have anybody letting you win)

I could never find the determination to even complete just the 200 pigeon trophy. I couldn't imagine the laborious grind to get platinum. Salute to you and the boys, and let's never forget how legendary GTA4 is. My favourite of the whole series.

gobble gobble is easy: When you get there pick the farthest left lane. Hold the left stick over until Niko steps over two times. Then pull the right stick back and then back to center for about half a second to a full second, then push forward. Then don't touch anything else.
I can feel your pain, I platinum'd it back in the days + 100% on dlc's. The 200 flying rats were so annoying and the multiplayer trophies are just so glitched and only about grind. So good game man, this is not for nothing if GTA IV's platinum mentions "Sorry for taking liberties with your time" haha.
@@charlesdwayne2196 When I earned the platinum in 2017 and during the co-op missons, getting hit by bullets going through the wall, npc's keep shooting me when they're lying down the floor and dead, going through the map after a collision while driving and then restart the mission from scratch, chopper exploding by itself before I could even get in; that's why I meant that the multiplayer trophies are fully glitched. It has nothing to do with modders, just the game itself.

It's a grind for sure, but the plat isn't too bad. Though I heard getting to level 100 in online is kind of a chore now. Thankfully those trophies autopop because it carries over after finishing it on the Xbox 360.
@@iLL_WiLL_Nah getting to rank 100 is absolutely one of the easiest as you'll naturally get RP when grinding the rest of them. The real problem will be stuff like the doomsday elite challenges, I have 3.5k + hours and still those are daunting to me and have yet to complete them, it's absolutely insanely hard and everyone on your team has to be perfect, no mistakes what so ever.
@@anon6706 Oh for sure. I just meant the plat. There is no way in hell I'm doing the mastermind challenges. Too much time and too much coordination for me to realistically complete them. If I didn't have a job or did it for a living, maybe, but that's not the case right now. It's one of the few games in my list that will stay at Plat, But 100% Not Complete.

As a person who's 100%'d GTA 4 on PC, the pain is understandable. My Rarest Achievements showcase on Steam literally got taken over by the achievements and it's like PTSD every time I see it. God bless your dedication. Holy.
That lan party was epic. This video and your other GTA ones actually motivated me to get the platinum for this game as it is my favorite in the series! I couldn't convince my friends to do a lan party like you but thankfully strangers helped me get the multiplayer ones, I'm now playing the single player to get the story related ones and then onto the side activities for the 100%! This will be my first ever platinum and I'm glad it is on such an iconic game, still remember watching crash compilations when it first released. Edit: I got it.
Liberty City Minute is always one of those trophies that sounds more terrifying than it is. Both times I played the game fresh, on PS3 and PC, I got the trophy/achievement without even intending to go for it. In the case of the former, I didn't even know it existed until I got it.
Went on the same journey back in July of 2020 & it's one of my proudest platinums. It was so intriguing watching you go for the plat for this goated game & love that you had 3 bros to set up that legendary lan party to get the dreaded multiplayer trophies! I kinda got lucky by meeting some random dudes from Brazil that helped me get the plat & watching you get the multiplayer trophies outta the way reminded me of my own journey. Congrats mate & keep up the s+++ tier content!!

Seeing the struggle immediately got me subscribing to see more pain 🔥 I had similar horrible multiplayer experiences with both fable and AC black flag, trying to match make on ancient servers is disgusting! Fable was probably the worst, one of the trophies is to own the chicken suit which is no longer obtainable so you have to basically hope you bump into someone who A has it and B is willing to trade it to you and trust you will give it back to them 😂

Nice one 'Oh the memories' or nightmares of trying to finish on the 'Auf Wiedersehen (Good Bye) Petrovic' trophy was a complete @**h. There was a saving glitch in 2010 so it took 9 hours to go through leave the PS3 on and carry on again when we had a sleep, we returned for a few more hours but it still didn't go, turned out we need to do a different team on the Car Jack City then we got it and the Platinum Trophy, I managed the Flying rats okay and rank 10 over playing lots of races as well multiple Bomb Da Base and NOOSE missions from 2008/10, the rolling car was done by driving through a hole in the map but the swing set glitch is the normal way people got that one. I feel your pain though total nightmare to get 'sorry for wasting your time'... Rockstar are Sadists, well done on the LAN set up and props to your mates that helped out especially to the guy who stuck with you to the bitter end. Mad respect to you all. From Thunderer08 with Grezllm who is sadly no longer with us, check the stats his name is top 3 last time I looked on Bomb Da Base on PSN.
this was so much fun to watch!! i especially loved the LAN party you guys did, and despite being such a grind, it still looked like lots of fun! i have the game on steam, so thankfully i didn't have to do the multiplayer achievements, so i didn't struggle too much with gta 4 itself (other than the tedious 100% requirements), but since i have the complete edition, it means that i have to get gold trophies on *every the ballad of gay tony mission*. that's one i've been working on for a LONG time, and i'm still not done, some of them are so difficult. i do wonder though, will the next video be on the DLCs?

As a person who's 100%'d GTA 4 on PC, the pain is understandable. My Rarest Achievements showcase on Steam literally got taken over by the achievements and it's like PTSD every time I see it. God bless your dedication. Holy.
That lan party was epic. This video and your other GTA ones actually motivated me to get the platinum for this game as it is my favorite in the series! I couldn't convince my friends to do a lan party like you but thankfully strangers helped me get the multiplayer ones, I'm now playing the single player to get the story related ones and then onto the side activities for the 100%!
This will be my first ever platinum and I'm glad it is on such an iconic game, still remember watching crash compilations when it first released.

This is the one platinum trophy I'll forever be proud of (relieved too). Impossible to do without a trustworthy friend(s) for the MP part.
Liberty City Minute is always one of those trophies that sounds more terrifying than it is. Both times I played the game fresh, on PS3 and PC, I got the trophy/achievement without even intending to go for it. In the case of the former, I didn't even know it existed until I got it.

Went on the same journey back in July of 2020 & it's one of my proudest platinums. It was so intriguing watching you go for the plat for this goated game & love that you had 3 bros to set up that legendary lan party to get the dreaded multiplayer trophies! I kinda got lucky by meeting some random dudes from Brazil that helped me get the plat & watching you get the multiplayer trophies outta the way reminded me of my own journey. Congrats mate & keep up the s+++ tier content!!
I watch a TON of channels that do Platinum Trophy videos, and you are by far my favorite of all of them. Your humor, editing, voice, enthusiasm, etc.... it's off the charts. Great job on this video! That multiplayer grind was hilarious to watch, but also well worth it!
Seeing the struggle immediately got me subscribing to see more pain 🔥 I had similar horrible multiplayer experiences with both fable and AC black flag, trying to match make on ancient servers is disgusting!
Fable was probably the worst, one of the trophies is to own the chicken suit which is no longer obtainable so you have to basically hope you bump into someone who A has it and B is willing to trade it to you and trust you will give it back to them 😂

Man, that was quite a ride. And I enjoyed every minute of it. Your dedication was off the charts and your friends are super cool for supporting you in this. Apart from all the trophy grind, what I'm really happy about is how much you enjoyed the main game's story. It's all in all my favourite GTA game with Vice City coming in as a very close second. Extra points for using Mass Effect music, I'm currently replaying that, so that's always a treat. "Auf wiedersehen, Petrovic" is hell of a sadistic trophy. "Auf wiedersehen" is "goodbye" in German and the second time you pronounced it not even too badly, haha. I think I'm really gonna like your channel, great work!

There was a saving glitch in 2010 so it took 9 hours to go through leave the PS3 on and carry on again when we had a sleep, we returned for a few more hours but it still didn't go, turned out we need to do a different team on the Car Jack City then we got it and the Platinum Trophy, I managed the Flying rats okay and rank 10 over playing lots of races as well multiple Bomb Da Base and NOOSE missions from 2008/10, the rolling car was done by driving through a hole in the map but the swing set glitch is the normal way people got that one.
I feel your pain though total nightmare to get 'sorry for wasting your time'... Rockstar are Sadists, well done on the LAN set up and props to your mates that helped out especially to the guy who stuck with you to the bitter end. Mad respect to you all.

this was so much fun to watch!! i especially loved the LAN party you guys did, and despite being such a grind, it still looked like lots of fun!
i have the game on steam, so thankfully i didn't have to do the multiplayer achievements, so i didn't struggle too much with gta 4 itself (other than the tedious 100% requirements), but since i have the complete edition, it means that i have to get gold trophies on *every the ballad of gay tony mission*. that's one i've been working on for a LONG time, and i'm still not done, some of them are so difficult. i do wonder though, will the next video be on the DLCs?
