    Thank you so much for being a classy, elegant, stylish, and unapologetic influencer. As a younger girl, it's difficult to find online role models like you-someone relatable who maintains such high standards. Thank you!
    Also your relaxer content is my favorite!

    HI DOM!! Always good to hear from. A Big Thank You For The Tips. I read somewhere years ago to avoid hot caffinated drinks right before a relaxer because it keeps the pores of your skin open. Chemical burns from a relaxer are no fun. You get scabs and that really hurt so I'm extra careful as well. Take care...Love you girl.❤

      It makes a huge difference. I started getting a relaxer again last year and I noticed a big difference with application and the finished results when I give myself a good bone straight silk press a week before.

    Great tips Dom, you're always on point. I do a bit of overkill... I don't wash my hair for 2 weeks prior to a relaxer but that's just me; also like you, I do not workout 2 days prior. Btw, I joined your Facebook group several weeks ago and I'm really enjoying it! Blessings

    When I went back to relaxer I wish my hair dresser told me these things, even though I asked how to prepare. The day of a relaxer I worked out, with a hat and rinsed prior thinking yea this is good...had the biggest scab near my forehead. Didn't figure out why until after. I also went to the sauna after my workout lol. Didn't scratch though 😂😂😂

    Hi I need help urgently. I had a relaxer applied to my head by a non-specialist and my scalp got severe burns and my hair started growing like wire even after cutting it. It's been 4 years and it hasn't improved and my scalp is still tender and hurts. What should I do? I've tried things like mesotherapy and exosome to no avail. I'm very sad and depressed and starting to lose hope.

    • @SH-1359s
      @SH-1359s 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I used to have very thick curly hair and now I've lost most of it and what's left is half burnt.

      I highly recommend going to a dermatologist or your primary care doctor. I had a bad relaxer done years ago and had an awful chemical burn on the nape of my neck. The doctor gave me an antibiotic in case of infection, and also recommended one of Neutrogena's medicated shampoos. I can't remember which one I purchased, but it was so helpful in healing the burn/scab. I haven't had issues growing my hair back. Good luck! Definitely get your doctor involved for advice

    Idk if anyone will see this but i relaxed my hair back in 2016 and ever since then even it ive cut it to a buzz cut it never has gone back to being a 4c texture like it still looks like 4C but if your up face to face its more straighter than regular 4c hair and its grows alot more straighter now and i have also bleached my hair alot too so if anyone knows why plz tell me 😭

      Bleach also breaks down your protein bonds and can loosen your texture x
