Thank you so much for being a classy, elegant, stylish, and unapologetic influencer. As a younger girl, it's difficult to find online role models like you-someone relatable who maintains such high standards. Thank you!
Also your relaxer content is my favorite!
This is the best compliment ever. Thank you for your support. Sending you a massive hug! ❤
Dom, I love how you're just so down to earth in this video and actually demonstrating the steps you take with your own hair. Really appreciate you!
Oh babe! I appreciate YOU! Thank you! ❤
Great rules love and definitely helpful,l just did mine and ready to relax my hair now
Amazing! I hope they help!!! ❤❤❤
Love this video because it really drives home the best ways to get a successful relaxer that I find we've forgotten about. Thanks Dom 😊 😃
Thank you so much for sharing the tips.❤
You’re very welcome! ❤❤❤
HI DOM!! Always good to hear from. A Big Thank You For The Tips. I read somewhere years ago to avoid hot caffinated drinks right before a relaxer because it keeps the pores of your skin open. Chemical burns from a relaxer are no fun. You get scabs and that really hurt so I'm extra careful as well. Take care...Love you girl.❤
Hiii Jeri! Nice to hear from you! Totally agree. I try to totally relax before relaxing. Hahaha
😂😂😂....Whatever it takes
Thanks Dom you are such a gem.❤
As are you!

Great video what hair relaxer do you use?
Great tips! I'll apply each of them in 12 weeks!
Hey!! Love your videos! My hair is so long and in good condition because of your videos! Please can you do an updated best hair products video 😊
Flat ironing the week before is actually a great tip, ill try that before my next relaxer
Thank you! It just makes my stylists life easier
It makes a huge difference. I started getting a relaxer again last year and I noticed a big difference with application and the finished results when I give myself a good bone straight silk press a week before.
Great tips Dom, you're always on point. I do a bit of overkill... I don't wash my hair for 2 weeks prior to a relaxer but that's just me; also like you, I do not workout 2 days prior. Btw, I joined your Facebook group several weeks ago and I'm really enjoying it! Blessings
Hi babe! Thank you so much for joining my group! And two weeks isn’t overkill. Do whatever your hair needs to stay healthy!
Always so informative 😊
Thanks for sharing. What relaxer do you use?
This was helpful! Thank You!!
Glad it was helpful!
Thankyou for the tips ❤❤❤❤.
You’re so welcome! ❤
Hi 👋🏾 Dom! Is it ok to use s curl the week of relaxer ? Like you do the aveda
Great tips.
What safe relaxer do you use? They have stopped selling relaxers where I live because it causes cancer,
Great tips! TFS ❤❤❤❤❤❤
When I went back to relaxer I wish my hair dresser told me these things, even though I asked how to prepare. The day of a relaxer I worked out, with a hat and rinsed prior thinking yea this is good...had the biggest scab near my forehead. Didn't figure out why until after. I also went to the sauna after my workout lol. Didn't scratch though 😂😂😂
hi Dom ! how often do you wash your hair usually ?
Usually weekly ❤
😊

I noticed that you don't do any protective hairstyles, do you have a video on this?
I do actually. My hair is ALWAYS in a bun. I do have videos on that topic as well.
@@StyleDomination Oh cool, I'll go looking for it, these styles have taken my edges! Thank you
@@StyleDominationother than buns do u wear braids or wigs?
@@securedfuture6649No, but I’ll wear clip-ins every now and then
Hi I need help urgently. I had a relaxer applied to my head by a non-specialist and my scalp got severe burns and my hair started growing like wire even after cutting it. It's been 4 years and it hasn't improved and my scalp is still tender and hurts. What should I do? I've tried things like mesotherapy and exosome to no avail. I'm very sad and depressed and starting to lose hope.
I used to have very thick curly hair and now I've lost most of it and what's left is half burnt.
I highly recommend going to a dermatologist or your primary care doctor. I had a bad relaxer done years ago and had an awful chemical burn on the nape of my neck. The doctor gave me an antibiotic in case of infection, and also recommended one of Neutrogena's medicated shampoos. I can't remember which one I purchased, but it was so helpful in healing the burn/scab. I haven't had issues growing my hair back. Good luck! Definitely get your doctor involved for advice
Idk if anyone will see this but i relaxed my hair back in 2016 and ever since then even it ive cut it to a buzz cut it never has gone back to being a 4c texture like it still looks like 4C but if your up face to face its more straighter than regular 4c hair and its grows alot more straighter now and i have also bleached my hair alot too so if anyone knows why plz tell me 😭
Bleach also breaks down your protein bonds and can loosen your texture x
New subbi ❤❤❤
