Changing-life channel. Good on you Ronald.
Thank you for making these videos Ronald.
Dr Ting has blown my mind again, definitely asking about upper teeth intrusion to improve my lower jaw!!!
You should also interview your orthodontist that did the mse treatment with you
Another great video! It's exciting to hear about all the ways to reduce facial height. A mm here, a mm there, combine a few methods and suddenly your face isn't looking too bad. :D
indeed
wish all my Mew bros the best of luck!
My man is back!
legoo
Legos?
Where on gods green earth can I find a provider like dr.ting! I’m in the Dallas Texas area & I desperately need an ortho that does mse and uses tads to correct open bites! He literally gave a solution to every problem I have. I have a open bite and vertical downward growth. With the use of tads to intrude the molars to swing my lower jaw forward and close my open bite would be a dream! It would shorten my face but also close my open bite a lot faster!
I'm in dallas too. did you find one yet?
Melanie L. Throne, DDS, PA
Absolutely awesome interview!!!! Dr. Ting is a bit of a drive for my family, but close enough that I'm willing to do it if either of my kids need airway related treatment.
indeed, patients local to Dr. Ting are very lucky
I am 50 minutes away
Great content!
7:30 alright so I'm a 16 year old girl, hopefully an appliance will be enough to guide my lower jaw to grow forward. This is all the more reason to get it done ASAP...
This interview is brilliant thanks again 😊.
I was wondering though wouldn't intruding the upper teeth with the goal of bringing the lower jaw into a better position only be a bandaid solution to the maxilla being too low or downswung ?
I don't even know at this point, since people with masseters stronger than their tongue tend to have the same outcome. It's not an aesthetically unpleasing nor unnatural result, so i think it's a pretty ok solution.
5:15 Lifefuel for me man
FAX BRU😂😂😂😂. I literally jumped up from halpiness
Pls ask if facemask and mse can be used in adult to correct a minor class iii and if yes does the doc have some sample of cases he treated! Thanks you
I find some of the stuff he's saying quite unbelievable especially about reducing the facial height. And how 1mm intrusion can reduce facial height dramatically. That sounds f*cking incredible. Need to see some examples of this! And need to know whether Dr. ting is the only one that does this?
MSE+Facemask is underrated
@A K who the hell is moon?
@A K Omg How rude of me!
@@spiscold50 it is? Why do you say that?
Agreed. A lot of what Ting says in this video is unbelievable and ridiculous
Ting says nobody has complained about the aesthetic changes. I had MSE and did not like the aesthetic changes! Bulky cheek bones, less facial symmetry. These are undesireable cosmetic changes that are common with MSE
Can you go into more detail?
@@qoby about the aesthetic changes? With cheek bones, the goal aesthetically should be to have high and forward cheek bones (not wide). MSE will likely make your cheek bones wider and less symmetrical. It looks worse. I got MSE and I look worse now than I did before MSE.
@@blockbuster1979 thanks. Sorry to hear that. Guess that depends on how narrow your face is to begin with?
@@qoby maybe. I would argue that in most cases, MSE will make you look worse, because a wider and less symmetrical face is not aesthetic.
@@blockbuster1979 who did your MSE case?
is it a good idea to use braces example (invislign) to tip teeth outwards expand teeth outwards? wil it make a bit of a fuller/wider looking face?
Super informative
He was suprised by aesthetic changes
Btw everything for CCW rotation
Is a CCW rotated craniofacial complex what makes brad Pitt good looking?
@@KenGold666 yes cause his midface is compact and gonial angle quite low.
If you have decent forward growth, compact midface, and above average fwhr and won't be bloated you at 98% will be above average handsome looking.
6:00 does MSE bring the mandinle/maxilla forward or only widen? Because I want my tongue out of my airway!
When the lower jaw swings forward does it help with recessed chin?
wait so expanding appliances worsen the face aesthetic
What's your IMW ronald? What's the best way to measure it?
The most accurate is with a mold and dial caliper. th-cam.com/video/-6IcjRUdHDM/w-d-xo.html
But most people for everyday purposes will bite into cardboard or a hunk of cheese and put a ruler to the indentation (measuring inwards from the inside of the first molars like Mike explains in that video).
Interested in hearing Ron's IMW as well - it's gotta be in the mid-40s I bet.
What is the address for his orthodontist please?
I'd recommend amplifying your audio and placing ads at the end of sentences/sections because the ads would BLARE me out of nowhere with my volume at 100%, lol.
oh man, yeah i don't mess with add placement that's wayyyyyy too much work. i barely edit videos.
@@JawHacks Never too late to start :p
Dr Ting is like Ken Jeong but with a more masculine jawline
I need CCW so bad
How i wish they were people like him in England :(((((((((((((((((((((((((((( IM STRUGGLING
So, what would be the best angle to pull with for a 16 yr old? (For the mse hooks)
+30
@@nathanlang8345 thanks,source?
Deadlyman 121 there was a study done on protraction with MARPE and based on the anterior positioning of the MSE, +30
Is ideal
@@nathanlang8345 that was not marpe, that was n2 implant, mse is not positioned anteriorly. Most probably the angle would be +30, but I want to confirm, I think he will ask him in upcoming vids, anyways thanks for the reply.
Deadlyman 121 Im getting it w ting and he said angle doesn’t even matter but I think +30 is safest. And where is MSE positioned? Pretty sure you can’t position things in back of palate since it’s soft
Does me work after the age of 30
what u and dr.ting mean by turns?
Will the TADS shorten the midface, if you have a gummy smile though?
You probably dont understand where midface is
Your site isn’t working?
Seems to work just fine for me
Is facepulling going to be discussed
Is he located in ny
Rancho Santa Margarita. About 50 miles south of Los Angeles
I have underdeveloped maxilla, but my mandible is much worse, If I do this one, I'll look like yoshi :(
BSSO or IMDO after
SPIsCold. imdo would be good but it’s fucking impossible to find someone to do it
