You make knitting more fun by teaching important skills and tricks with your humor and sparkling personality - just the way you describe how to move the stitches around and “rescue” them is like listening to a kindergarten teacher with her class. You don’t just say “the sky is blue” - your voice adds dimensions, inflection, and enthusiasm while saying it so that statement no longer sounds flat and dull. Every tip or trick you share adds to our knowledge and helps us enjoy knitting more. Thank you for taking the time to share your wisdom. Bet the whole knitting community is feeling very blessed and lucky to have access to your channel. ^^

You are luminous in that goldish-reddish cable knit sweater! Thank you for these wonderful tutorials. As a beginner knitter you are taking the “scarey” out of trying new things. Thank you, Stephen!!! Sending you love from Arizona. At the end of the video you look like a knitting-shaman with your cable gold sweater, shawl and cable hat. XOXO!

I struggle with cables, not because of the actual cable parts, but because of tension. I am a tight knitter, and I always end up with a gap between my knits and purls following a cable. I tried to tug the yarn tight, bring the yarn to the back to tug tight, purling through the back loop to remove excess, and nothing really works well. The last one is the best solution so far, buts its a little cumbersome and I still end up with a gap. I'd love a tutorial on tension while knitting cables. All your cabled items looks so clean and perfect. Thanks for the tutorials you do and making these things not as scary!

Cowls are great for activities and also for clumsy people like me who choke on my way out the door as my shawl or scarf gets caught on a door handle. It is a warm hug for your neck. Not too snug, but warming for a chilly day or night.❤
