Hi guys me again sorry to bother you. Weather is getting a bit better here now so cars up in the air ready for when i can get started. Do you happen to know or have a list of what tools ill need to get it removed? Just so i don't get stuck half way through. Its fine if you dont but worth an ask now incase i can get whatever ill need thank you 😊 @disturbingkreationz
Vielen dank für das tolle Video! Die deutschen machen sich so eine mühe garnichts, jedenfalls habe ich so ein video noch nicht aus deutschland gefunden. Vielen danke! Super video!

I need a transfer case off the back of a 722.9 2012 e350 4matic I’m most greatful for any help i know u have to get the whole trans but either way I need help
I don’t think changing the filter will work for you. It sounds like the bands in the auto trans have worn out in higher gears or a valve in the body is plugged. How many miles do you have?
hey i have a 2004 c230k! my serpentine belt broke and knocked off my transmission line to the radiator and haven't shifted above 1st gear ever since! I changed my conductor plate i was wondering if i had to clear the codes before it would work or is my transmission blown? or could i possibly change the shift solenoids?
You def lost fluid. Fix the line first. Then add fluid to the trans till full and try to drive it. You should never drive a leaking transmission. You can burn it up. You can erase the codes but that won’t do anything until the problem is fixed. How much fluid did you put back in the car? Also how many miles on this car?
Hi I’m installing the engine but I’m having trouble installing it because of the torque converter and the flywheel not coming together 2012 Mercedes c250
This is a common problem for people that do not do this everyday. I am no transmission expert but I have changhed a lot of automatics to manual so I do have the knowledge. I answered on your other comment. Have a good day sir.
I’ve got a 1999 ML320 hemorrhaging transmission fluid from the front of the transmission. Need to remove the transmission. I don’t have a lift. Looks like it’s over my pay grade. Not budget friendly to take it somewhere and pay thousands. Any suggestions?
Yes. This sounds like a front pump seal on the transmission behind the torque converter. My advice is to watch the full video and take out the transmission. After you get it out then take it to get looked at. You will save a lot of money by taking it out and putting it back in so the shop doesn’t have too. I did this work with no lifts. Please give me any more info so I may help.
Is it coming from the top of the trans front or bottom? Check the dip stick as well for the o-ring could have went bad and it’s leaking “near” the front.
Thanks for your kind response, my friend! I can peak through the torque converter window. It looks like it's coming out the bottom but that might be an optical delusion (hehe). Trying to figure out how I'm going to get it up high enough to get the transmission out. Subscribed as ordered, sir! Thanks so much for your help! Hope your Monday is going great!
I saw your first comment. It sounds as if maybe the trans fluid cooler is plugged or one of the lines. When the trans gets hot it slips. You say when cools down drives again. But after second always no good? I would change trans. Blow out the lines and cooler. If cooler is clogged. Also replace.
mine is a 1978 300D. really nice vid with lots great info. how many mb trannies have ya pulled this way? were any years you see worse to remove or were all about same?
@@otisarmyalso I have no gone all the way back to 1978 mostly 90s and newer I would imagine the “technique” is the same. Your has less electrical components.
Yes. Great question. When you slide it in it comes to a stop. you have to turn is slowly to find a second connection to make it slide in a second time. it will only move about an inch or so. At this time it is ready to be installed. Tip: If you look at the front of the transmission, ( from one side to the other across the front), the converter can not stick out at all.
Great TEACHER

Best mercedes benz transmission video on youtube.
This was 5 videos on my old channel that I turned into this 1 video. Do you like it?
This is the complete walk through.
I have like over 100. Miles
Then in other words my transmission might be gone if you saying the clutch might be wear out
Great video explaining everything as you chAnge this trans.
This is such a detailed video I can't believe it's not viral.
I have to change my 722.6 gearbox laid on my back like this too but outside in the rain and probably not the right tools for the job 😂
Whatever you need please ask. We are here to help.
@disturbingkreationz thank you 😊 I won't be doing it yet. I have to wait for weather to dry up a bit as I'm doing it outside
No problem. Hit us up when you do it.

Yes you need to buy metric E-sockets. I have a class on them in my basic tool playlist. If you can’t find it I’ll post a link here.
I was told that you should pull out the torque converter+transmission together
Together or separate is the mechanics choice.makes the trans a lot lighter if separate.
Its is easier to pull out together and install together.
This is a huge job and you made it look so easy.

I would think this being a Mercedes there would be many German videos mate. If you have any questions please ask.

Btw, not the original torque converter. I'm thinking that may be part of the problem. Just an uneducated guess.
Im doing this for a 722.9 on my cl500 any tips
I think the transmissions are very similar. Any question in particular?

Fluid can smell burnt and the part still be functional. What happened with this one?
