I married a wonderful gal from Buffalo WY. Back when we were working for the same company in Denver...that was 31 short years ago....of course I brought her back to the best state in the country....Indiana!!!!
Shortly after first viewing your very first number of productions, I pegged you as a stand up guy. Your comments regarding Brooklyn have proven that my first impressions of you were correct. Haven't been following you for a number of months and I'm getting caught up. Your posts are still some of the best trucking productions out there. Stay safe Trucker!
Hey Jack. I'm currently in CDL school and one if my classmates is deaf. I showed him how to use youtube to glean useful information. Unfortunately if the video doesn't have captioning options the videos aren't very useful for him. But he is able to read lips. So, thank you for posting your face as you talk so he can have access to all the same great information the rest of us enjoy!!!!! Love your editing style!
My mom lives in Salt Lake City, and I drive there about twice a year to visit. I live near Los Angeles, so normally I take highway 15 there and back. But about 2 years ago, I was feeling adventurous, so on the way home, I took highway 80 west to San Francisco and highway 1 south to L.A. I will say this: interstate 80 through Northern Nevada is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. It was almost a religious experience for me.
hi Indiana Jack my name is mike I live in Ireland I love watching all your videos its like been in the cab the scenery is gorgeous your videos are the best on youtube and hope to see many more good luck jack stay safe
I alway's wondered why some people are not so nice and others are like you . Anyone can see your a super nice guy . Your parents raised a good man . You give Truckers a good name . Enjoy your vids .
Just beautiful, especially at 7:00 where you see the great scenery at the distance. Hopefully someday in the near future I can visit Wyoming and possibly even move there!!!!
Steven Andrews said it best his sentiments are exactly correct about you and that is if you can't go through life with style and class then go home and leave people like "Indiana Jack" to do it right. thanks for this heart warming vlog i'm happy there are still good people like you somewhere out there. ~Jimm 601
I'm not a talk radio fan but I liked your tribute to "Brooklyn." Also liked the ground-level shot of the trailer's rear wheels backing to a stop. The thumbnail image for this video (Wendover Will in West Wendover NV) was a surprise: you must have stopped at the Pilot facility down the road from Will. Love your videos.
wow....I was sitting at that TA in Rawlins when I watched this video. l had a super light load and darn near got blown over that day. weird to see you where I was watching you..lol
Yeah I remember those times when I was driving cross country .The first year it was fun traveling from the west to the east coast and back. never liked going through new York or through high traffic areas .Was hell on my knees pushing on the clutch...
Brooklyn drove me nuts, too, when he used to call into Nemo's show or America's Truckin' Network. Even though I didn't agree with him, I miss him because he seemed like a genuinely nice guy. I really enjoy your videos.
Way back in the day I was pulling a load of something or other from Philadelphia PA to Salt Lake City. I remember pulling into a truck stop in Cheyenne for fuel and the price of diesel had just hit $1.00 a gallon. All the drivers were outraged. Needless to say we all WISH it was a dollar today. I loved the drive across Wyoming but I always ran up to Ogden to avoid that seven mile down grade into Salt lake. :)
I remember when Dave Nemo was second-banana (sort of) to Charlie Douglas on the all night Truckers show from WWL 870 AM, New Orleans. I'm glad he's still with the drivers.( old commercial from those days. "Runnin' with the rabbit - - Drivin' for the Melton Line")
Jack, love watching your videos. I know you have to make a living. Can I suggest you go to see more of America than trucks tops and Exit signs? You pass within mere miles of some really beautiful locales. We drove OTR for years and alot of them have ample parking for your rig. Makes the run more of an adventure than a same old, same old thing. We always made our deliveries too. Just saying
Little America is quite the place, been there while on my way to Logan, UT. Nice tribute to "Brooklyn" thanks for sharing. Do the Antelope still run across I-80 in Wyoming? When I was out there in the '90's they were all over the place.
I did that drive from Cheyenne to Laramie at night with really thick fog. I was in the far right lane. I was a little stressed but guys were blowing by me. I felt like a true true amateur.
Hey Indiana J, I know this is old video but had to say hi as im currently staying in Fort Collins CO, literally just got bk from Eclipse 2017 in Casper, drove threw Laramie on way home :) Stopped at Cheyenne on Sat going up there! Great experience, where was you driving last wk? Favorite drive so far; I-70 west of Denver, l*** the vids, trucker Dan, UK

It is a song available from TH-cam for their creators to use free music. in your TH-cam account if you go to CREATE and MUSIC, it's there. I'm sorry I don't know which of the little songs it is.

At 20:59 on the right side of the road, there is some sort of tall sculpture. I have seen it somewhere else before on the internet. What the heck is it supposed to be? To me it looks like a hat rack with different balls on it. If so, why is it there, what is it's significance? My father has a saying that he says sometimes when he's frustrated about something. He says "Oh, balls on a hat rack!" Is this what that sculpture about?
Brooklyn was a acquired taste. I too did not care much for him. I too am sad that a fellow trucker has died. Rest in peace Brooklyn. But I honestly have to say I do not miss him much. I do miss the truck in Bozo.
+Gord Beneteau Speaking of keeping weights down, back in the 70's I pulled a load of experimental Gonorrhea vaccine out of grand Rapids Michigan heading for the CDC in Washington DC. The whole load consisted of 18, 25 gallon glass jugs. I was able to pick up a full load of sand blasting pellets in Ohio and got paid for two loads all in one shot. :)
I married a wonderful gal from Buffalo WY. Back when we were working for the same company in Denver...that was 31 short years ago....of course I brought her back to the best state in the country....Indiana!!!!
Indiana Jack is the best. A Gentleman's Gentleman's. You do the best video amongst all truckers. Easy watching and listening to. Be safe.
