Just ran into Indiana Jacks videos. Very laid back and courteous driver. Not to mention knowledgeable. Been out here 16 years. This industry's changed alot..
This is only the 2nd video i have watched. Your videos are excellent you have the perfect attitude and characteristic a trucker must have in order to do the job! PATIENCE!! PATIENCE!! A trucker must love the job, or he or she won't last at the profession. Never ever get in a hurry that is when bad things happen! It is a lifestyle not a job. I did the job OTR and regional for many years. The places you see in the USA and Canada will last a lifetime. Keep up the great work Mr. indianajacktrucker
This has to be one of the highest quality reality channels produced, you have a great ability to make the mundane interesting And enjoyable for your viewers. I appreciate the feeling of being right along on the road and the videography of our nation is beautiful. Wish you were on tv with a whole crew.
+lisa b You perfectly describe Indiana Jack. RUDI DUECK and Sergei Dratchev are very close to Indiana Jack. I spend hours watching trucking video and YES, INDIANA JACK is TOP.
thanks for all the videos indianjack,i been driving for over 40 years haulin freight, food n then i drove in construction for awhile building new interstates then went back to driving over the road again, but 6 months later after i received my truck i had a stroke which ended my driving carer.thanks
I was a reefer driver for 14 years the landing gear on a Great Dane reefer and on a Great Dane dry van is completely different. The landing gear on the Great Dane reefer is a lot more heavy duty than the Great Dane dry van.
Hey Jack , just started looking at your videos , great stuff , looking forward to been on your journeys with you now here. Drive safe , im watching from south east Ireland :-)
Hi Jack love the videos , I've been in love with the US ever since attending my daughter Ashleigh's wedding in Florence S C in 2013. Please leave in the engine noise and the indicator sound it reminds me of driving my own Volvo's here in Ireland. Congratulations on 1000000 miles I remember that milestone in a Volvo I had from new. Keep up the good work and may be I'll get to meet you if I get to do some hot shot work over there. Keep on Trucking!
Good job Jack, Its nice to see someone show what we go through on a daily basis. I've been doing this for 35+ years but don't have the talent for filming as you do. So thanks keep up the good work. I have love trucking and being a trucker for all these years.
love your channel! I know the plight. I used to work for GM in Fontana driving the goat. I have driven for Gordon since 2011(HEARTLAND now). stay safe Jack! shiny side up!
I wonder why you don't do more commentary on the scenery and more video of the actual countryside. For example you showed the chicken farms in Arkansas as you drove by. That was interesting to know how people make a living in that region. In this video you had a quick shot of Mt San Jacinto and the wind farms in Palm Springs and yet you made no mention. I would like to have seen some video of Casa Grandes but I guess it was nighttime. I watch your videos to learn about the geography of the U.S. since I am unlikely to go to many of these places.
The main thing I learned about driving cross country is that our country is still a lot of open land that has not been developed yet. No wonder online shopping succeeds.
do company trucks pay for mechanical issues and such I start trucking school monday and just have no idea, I want to be a smart and responsible trucker and absorb as much info as I can, thank you and keep up the superb vids.
Jack you mentioned that you were so pleased that the trailer was a Wabash. Is there really that much difference in trailers ...thought they were all pretty much the same. Love your vids.. keep up the great work!!
Probably too late for I-Jack to answer but how the heck do they keep track of all those trailers? And how about the mileage on them; who could scheduled maintenance like tires, brakes, lights, do they have an annual sticker or something? And the legs, the legs need fixing!!!
I drove for 35 years . I worked for Yellow Freight . I ran St Louis Oklahoma City .I've retired 10 years ago . Sold My Home moved to the Philippines . Living Life . I herd about the Truck Stop Bar and Grill needing a manager here I am . We have 1000 Toy Trucks on display from all over the world . Of coarse Yellow Freight and JB Hunt Trucks and Buster Brown trucks . Cold Beer and good food
indiana jack trying to catch up on your videos finding videos from 2 to 3 years back but the closest one i found was 6 months back any.newer than that? what part of indiana you born in? be safe on the roads.
This reminds me of the short b.s. loads i used to get.Saw a guy with a t shirt once,if I wanted short loads with lots of stops,I would've been a fuckin' mailman.
+Xantec Owning your own trailer limits the kind of loads you can pick up. For one thing, it would be all live load rather than drop and hook. That costs you a lot of time. Now, if you are doing a dedicated run where you are always running between point A and point B you could have two trailers and that might work out. But for normal OTR trucking it doesn't work well.
6 trucks for one mt??? Wow, that sounds about as organized and my company, except im the local guy and i usu know where the mts are better than them...
Ehh, guards make stuff up to get a drivers hot water flowing. They have nothing else to do, never take such a statement as a fact until you see 6 other drivers in there and all of them looking for your trailer. They can't find it but you do? That's how you know it's a lie right there. No telling what some Knight driver did or said to that guy so we'll never really know why the lying. It's a blessing if one can jettison this kind of worthless nonsense at the end of the day and get a good night's sleep.
hey jack, regarding your safety guy saying smile like an idiot, forget that, just have a one of those tiparillos clinched in your teeth off to one side kinda like truman capotee, futhermore it seems the name bannon is rubbing alot of folks the wrong way,, love the show, almost as good as ALF reruns
Hi Jack, I just don't understand you truckers, I have never seen any of you with a bike rack behind your cab with a bike on it. you could even get a fold up bike if needed, and put it in your cab. You and every one of you complain about never being able to get to the restaurants or shopping with your truck. Tenants of mine who drive trucks have been dying young because they never exercise I rarely drive and ride my bikes every where at 15 miles an hour on my grocery getter and a trailer behind it at 120 pounds total , which is not fast. Like you vids, Bruce.

Enjoyed that man. That’s trucking at its finest.
Your style of editing and the music you add cracks me up. Reminds me of an old tv show

nice video Jack, be Safe out there
Most of my driving is northeast (upstate NY) Gotta say the big open skys of the west looks fantastic.
Cool video! How's your new travel trailer? I agree... I think that's the main reason to get into trucking....for the adventure! Take care
I have learned 'Bob tailing'!! Thanks, sir.
+wbimota It's actually "bobtailing", from "bobtail", an animal who had his tail bobbed. Just like that truck. :)
+mountainhobo Thanks!!
The main thing I learned about driving cross country is that our country is still a lot of open land that has not been developed yet. No wonder online shopping succeeds.

Indianajack does not like to take hauls in N. C., because of the mountains? Correct?

Jack, why not buy a trailer and keep that same trailer?

Ok
I still don't like these customers that feel they have to see my DL. Don't feel like it's any of their business
You need some grease on that fifth wheel
