try relocating to a financially stable or developing muslim country like Malaysia, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia etc. It is a win win situation, bcuz 1 - you will be able to get a good job there provided you have a western education and experience (and they like that). 2 - you will move to a muslim country so no more racism and you can freely practice Islam. 3 - life in those countries is relatively cheaper comparing to Canada. Consider my advice. May Allah grant you success in both this life and the hereafter. Assalam waleikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

We can tell by his emotions, he's trying his best and its not really his fault. BUT now she wants a divorce. I am confused as to how his wife is in Australia and he is in Pakistan. Is it just visa termination issues? If so, I'm still suspicious bc if she's married to him and lives there, shouldn't she be able to have him with her thru marriage visa? (Unless there were another wife in question.) Regardless, this is a sad position to be in. Inshallah, Allah guides him. Men have to shoulder a lot of responsibility and should prioritize accordingly.

Here's what happened. He probably made it to the country on a temporary non-student/non-work visa. The wife was desperate to remarry, but was probably keeping him at arms length to ensure he can stay in the country without relying on her for spousal support. Not sure about Australia, but it's a common thing Pakistani girls in the states do to protect themselves from being financially abused.
All-in-all, the marriage was built on 0 trust, and the only real victims here are the two children involved because of their parents' impulsive actions.

Are you a Muslim? I am a Muslim .As per shari'a marriage is a deal. It's all about rights and duties. Personal feelings has no place in the Law. Love is not relevant. As a long as a man can provide he has a lot of privileges over his wife; for example if he can provide he can take other wives and her feelings don't matter at all, if she gets trauma and gets ill because of this, this doesn't matter at all. BUt if a man can't provide, he loses all his rights and privileges. As per shari'a, he doesn't worth anymore as a husband. There are other things: if a spouse gets chronically ill or disabled (man or woman doesn't matter) can be abandoned. If he or she is infertile, he or she can be abandoned. Their sorrow don't matter in front of the Law. Omar RA had more than one wife and yet he divorced a woman because she couldn't have children anymore. If a man is infertile, he can be divorced, same. And as long as a man can provide, there is no real equity between husband and wife, he has more rights over her. But if he can't, he becomes kind of a nothing as a husband. Do you love each other? Great, you're lucky. Does you and your spouse validate and take care of each other's feelings and emotions? You're very lucky and blessed. But this has no relevance as per the Law. Even sex is a question of numbers. As a woman you must have intercourse everytime he asks for it, except if you are menstruated or ill. If you are a man you are recommended to have intercourse with her every 4 days but it's not mandatory. In front of the Law is a duty. If there''s love and real connection in it, your business. As a Muslim I've learnt that the only way I can achieve full dignity as a human being, no matter the gender, the best is to be able to provide for yourself and avoid marriage. But if you are a woman this is even more true. If you're not married, your dignity and value is not linked to having money, or being infertile or ill or disabled. You can build your dignity and value on what you really achieve in religion and you give to society.

He didn't give up even after being deported back to his country. He kept on educating himself to get more skills. And the sister could not bare it anymore.
Remember the story of prophet Ayyub peace be upon him, he lost his wealth, his children, his reputation, his big house, his health,. Only his wife stood by him. He was so ill that he couldn't get out of bed.
And even in the end his wife had enough and ask him to ask Allah. He said 'how long did Allah bless us with everything for?'
    She replied for 70-80 years.
He said 'i feel shy to ask Allah when Allah has blessed us for many many years and we have been only afflicted for few years'
His wife didn't even leave him
His supported him till the end.
He saw how his wife struggled and he asked Allah 'Oh Allah, despair, distress and evil have touched me and You are the Most Merciful of those who mercy'.

Brother- We don't know the full story though but your wife should have moved with you to Pakistan. If she don't then she is not worth it. Wo kehtay haina k agr wo jaana chahay to usay roko nai, qk wo jaa chuki hoti hai (If she wants to leave, don't stop her and let go, because she's already gone). Sad that you have your own 2 kids with her, but brother that's life, that's because it was a wrong decision to marry her in the first place. She could've been in Pakistan and still asked for you to divorce. Biwi ka pata ghurbat aur bimari main chalta hai (Wife's true loyalty is revealed in poverty or in ailment). Loyal wives with 9 kids wouldn't leave you if you don't have a penny, but there are some who'd leave even if you have a mansion. So don't worry. Offer her final time to come to Pak IF you can't goto Australia but if she doesn't then Khalaas. And Pakistan is not a war torn country, there are so talented people and students that then can migrate to Aus/Canada and rest of world and create great lives for themselves while maintaining their deen and social values. In Australia, a mother with children is well-supported by the government. School fees, living allowances, and even university costs for children are covered. The mother often receives housing and financial aid. If she still demands more, it suggests she entered the marriage expecting financial benefits rather than love.
True love isn’t based on wealth-if a woman loves her husband, she’d support him even in hardship, knowing Rizq is from Allah. A man tries his best, but Rizq is ultimately beyond his control. If she was looking for a provider and not a partner, it’s clear she wanted a sugar daddy. May Allah protect us from such relationships. Divorce in this case seems justified.

There are SIX starving children, health costs, housing, school snd whatever. If you wait years for your husband who is not there for providing with money nor emotional than this is no marriage.

The real problem today is that they put women in the job market, so men and women compete for jobs, it mean there are less jobs for men. Women have jobs but they aren't providers, providing is still the duty of men, so it's a paradox because women work for themselves and men have to work for their family. So It become very difficult to find a job, for All my brothers, young or not, you have to go in a field in demand, a manual field or technology fiels, or job in care (medecine, pharmacy, dental). Don't lose your time in field that get you nowhere. May Allah help every muslim, be couragous brothers !

The solution is simple which is that tell your wife to move to Pakistan and then you can provide basic nessesites for them and if she is resisting without islamic justifiable reason then she is Zalim. Another thing it is not your fault if you are putting effort for earning money without compromising the Deen because fit this into your mind that Allah increases the riqz for whom he wills and decrease for whom he wills so you should only do what you are suppose to (judging by what Allah has revealed) while accepting the worse case scenario of this worldly life and that's the only way to find satisfaction and easiness in your life.
