The most legendary build thread EVER. Man buys a decrepit, unloved, non winning, non Micheletto F40 and soon learns the car needs a metric fuck-ton of work. Biting the bullet and committing to a rebuild/restoration of this scale takes balls. This isn’t like Mclaren STILL having spare F1 parts from lying around from the OG production run, where the COULD rebuild a totaled chassis if they really wanted to, this was a converted Italian race car. Need to replace a screw? Design it and create it yourself. Apparently spare, and “off the shelf” are completely absent from the Italian vernacular
Thanks for this video. I was waitting for it since the restoration begins. Following in FChat and feeling each post. Congrats Mototechnique for share all your knowhow. All the owners are very pleased knowing that experts like you keep our jewels in good shape. Here in Spain, we've got GTStradale, that they are in the similar way that Mototechnique....but this is another chapter. Congrats Tim for this HyperCar.

What's the extra whine beyond that beautiful exhaust note though?
gearbox
It's the retarders on the Dyno rollers
@@VarioFelceIt was the dyno, not the car, though I don't know much about how dynos work.
What was upgraded, engine wise?
