Gentle piece of advice. Do future tests with panels farther from the building. 3/4 of panel is reflecting the sky, but 1/4 shows the building. It’s kinda difficult to compare the two sides since they aren’t the same
I'm a person more concerned with gloss and appearance of the paint as opposed to long-lasting protection. I like to apply a coating of some sort at least once a month, so I'm not worried about protection durability. I've already purchased the Flex Wax, so I'll see how it compares to Bead Maker, which is my current favorite appearance enhancer. Thanks again Brian for an in-depth and informative video.
Beadmaker has the best shine. No doubt, but it does not last, so for you thats better. I want long lasting protection. I think i will go with ceramic 9h stuff so i don't have to polish and clay every year.
Purchased seal & shine, 3 months later they launched Hybrid range, purchase the hybrid ceramic wax (+ shampoo + quick detailer) . Treated the car - 12 months durability - so I have another ~10 years left in the ceramic wax bottle.....now we have the graphene range. Wish they would make smaller bottles. I drive a MB SL450 & it does not do a lot of miles, I have shelves full of product......
Amazing video, Brian. Your efforts took a day to begin breaking the products down with multiple, strong, direct chemical applications. Either TW product should have an incredibly long, on the road exposure life. Well done TW!!
Great video, Brian! Putting the new kid on the block up against the tried and true Seal N Shine was a excellent idea. Still amazed at the performance of Seal N Shine, to be honest. Having said that, I want the graphene products for my vehicles.
Tried Flex Wax. it rained the next day. When the car dried there weren't any chalky white spots on the car and the are had the same gloss as if it was just polished. I'm a Turtle Wax believer now
Turtle Wax has really stepped up there game in the Car Detailing world, kudos to them for making good products for low prices, Happy Detailing Brian, i was thinking if you put seal n shine as the base layer and then follow up with flex wax as the final layer, how good would this perform. I would like to see how Gloss-It Ceramic Coating Spray in a test, this product has been amazing in all area's
Brian why don’t you lay down SnS and stack it with Flex wax. Give that a go to see if they play well together??? I was thinking since TW is coming out with these « game changers « this could be the affordable solution for daily driver cars. KISS method - keep it simple stupid.
@@Icesouldy these GU measurements are also affected by the quality of paint that is on the panels and how well polished the panel was before testing. Two cars could give a 10GU difference with the same product.
Wow, that's some durability test. So, if you use either of the products & then wash your car with a good quality shampoo you'll not touch them, therefore long term durability should be insane. Thanks for the video & information, that must have taken a lot of time to complete.
I am a very big fan of the Seal and Shine product. I swear by it and that's the only product I use now. I have to try the ne Graphene infused wax one of these days. Thanks for sharing.
They both seem to be Excellent products that hold up very well. It would be interesting to see how they both do with water spotting and etching. From what your test showed, for the money Turtle Wax Seal N Shine is still KING, even though the Turtle Wax Graphene Flex is an excellent product with great shine.
@@DRTYFN funny you say that but other people have actually test the product and it has shown better durability than many other products in the same category... But wait, do I believe a random guy or 5 different channels actually testing the product... By the way turtle seal and shine may have more durability but it does not give me nearly enough gloss, so what is the point really? . I f you just want protection and your car looking like it just had a regular wash , go right ahead. I ll pick turtle ceramic coating over seal and shine any day of the week. I want my car also looking good even if it means a little less durability
It’s like watching Groundhogs Day with the new Turtle Wax line. Thanks Brian for the durability testing, always love a good comparison tests. Keep up the amazing work my friend.
Im confused on what the difference between the flex wax and max wax is? Would a dry and properly applied layer of flex wax do the same as max wax? Is it worth it getting both or just one
I am so glad TH-cam threw you into my suggestions today! So impressed with your video layout! Just enough info both in talking and visual! Thank you! You gained a new subscriber!
Wow, it's amazing to me how well SnS can stand up to all these newer products. And this isn't even the improved formula! Now I'm just curious about the water spotting with the Graphene flex. The ease and versatility of it is great, but fixing the waterspotting issues with ceramic coatings is really the only reason I'd want to go with graphene over Hybrid Solutions.
Interesting. Which TW product would you recommend to treat a sun damaged black car? Will the TW Pro Graphene Max be as good as a TW Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Acrylic Black? Can the TW Pro Flex be added over the Ceramic Acrylic Black? Great review by the way, many thanks!
Love the way you explain everything! 🥇🏆 *I would like to see comparison between:* 1) Hybrid Solutions Pro Flex Wax 2) Griot’s Garage 3-in-1 Ceramic Wax 3) IGL EZ (it’s very new product as far as I know).
You know I'm glad it can do that stuff but I never do it that way. I only ever do it dry paint work in let sit wipe off.. Now on this there does seem to be a 24-hour cure time as it says on the bottle to allow 24 hours before washing.. but regardless whether it does or doesn't I always allow 24 hours of curing on base coat topper double topper or any coat... I have found doing it this way last the longest and protects the most with the least
Flex wax is thick and needs a bit of buffing even if slightly overapplied in humid environments. Its really concentrated so I got the best results using it as a drying aid where the residual water helps dilute it a little :)
guess I will use up my seal n shine as the base, and use the flex wax as a topper. best of both worlds. Brian these TW tests will wear you out. thanks again. Btw i have put seal n shine on our pvc/plastic white railings. the rain just washes the dust off. plus it gives the railings some luster. I'm going to try it on a granite counter top. what heck I'll S n S the whole house.
Another informative comparison. Turtle Wax seems to be doing their homework. Products are released after the Black Friday/Cyber Monday rush. Strategic move as always.
Man, ive always stayed away from Turtle wax due to the stuff i tried back in the 90's, stuff was horrible. Turtle Wax has definately did their homework, their products rock now
Flex Wax is 26 Bucks 😳. Probably going to be at least £20 in the UK. CP4L are currently selling the Turtle Wax Hybrid Sealant for £5.30 for 500ml. Which is called Seal n Shine in the USA. Every person in here probably already knew that. Will I buy Flex Wax... Nope!
That's nuts Brian. With the fact that you will be using the Flex as a drying aid the longevity test is a given. With 100 GU and the Slickness it's looking like a no Brain-er. You are a very fair tester with all the products that come your way. New benchmark relative to cost and ease of use. This has to be up there with your Go get it Now, board!
This product line looks like a true winner. I will have to revisit some training videos to make sure I do proper prep on my car before laying this system down. Thanks, as always Brian, great work. I wish you were nearby some I could stop in for service.
Nice silver Disco. I offer Turtle Wax spray coating application in addition to my normal services. It's proved very popular, very tough, and I enjoy using them. One-and-Done is a very easy polish to use. It does the same thing as Sonax Perfect Finish, but it smells far better.

Wanted new enough yet not new being used to haul lumber and tools to the jobsite.
I've tried numerous waxes, synthetic to carnuba paste or liquid. Found my formula, carnuba base seal and shine on top.
I get stares and comments frequently from others , my goal show I 5ake pride in my ride I will take pride in your house or office.
Like your testing.
How’s it holding up?
What are your thoughts , which offers morr shine ?
what’s your results buddy
Beadmaker has the best shine. No doubt, but it does not last, so for you thats better. I want long lasting protection. I think i will go with ceramic 9h stuff so i don't have to polish and clay every year.
Great comparison Brian. And thanks for the tip. Ur expertise is unquestionable. 👍👍
Thank you for taking the time to do these videos!
The tip and summary of how to use the trio of products were very helpful. I was sold on the Flex when you showed the gloss meter. Excellent video.
Thanks Brian, this is what we were waiting for. SnS is still a great product but I like the gloss in the graphene.
I have confidence in your methods and opinions. You are helping me save money and time.
Love Turtle Flex wax! I to thought Turtle was just a low grade product for cars But Now I love Turtle Products and Will Be Using Them.
What everyone is waiting for. Let's get it on
Turtlewax.com!!
I'm a Turtle Wax believer now
U really know what viewers wanna compare. 👍 Seal & Shine or Flex Wax, Turtle wax is the winner! 👏
Turtle Wax has really stepped up there game in the Car Detailing world, kudos to them for making good products for low prices, Happy Detailing
Brian, i was thinking if you put seal n shine as the base layer and then follow up with flex wax as the final layer, how good would this perform. I would like to see how Gloss-It Ceramic Coating Spray in a test, this product has been amazing in all area's
SnS 2.0 wins if this is this close. Wow.
100 GU for just the spray wax... Can't wait to see what all three together can produce...
Brian why don’t you lay down SnS and stack it with Flex wax. Give that a go to see if they play well together???
I was thinking since TW is coming out with these « game changers « this could be the affordable solution for daily driver cars.
KISS method - keep it simple stupid.
@@elilee9112 don't drink the marketing kool-aid.
Oh shoot... just bought a gallon of beadmaker which I think yield a GU lower than 100 :(
@@Icesouldy these GU measurements are also affected by the quality of paint that is on the panels and how well polished the panel was before testing. Two cars could give a 10GU difference with the same product.
@@TheKniperlight true, but he has used this panel quite a few times, not a single other spray has given 100.
Seal and shine is just AWESOME!
From what your test showed, for the money Turtle Wax Seal N Shine is still KING, even though the Turtle Wax Graphene Flex is an excellent product with great shine.
ive never been so excited for a product to come out in the UK
I want to see The Last Coat 'Black Ice' vs TW Pro line.
From experience, TLC 2.0 is snake oil. The gloss is really nice, but it doesn’t have 1/10 the durability of TWSnS.
@@DRTYFN that's why I want to see the 'Black Ice' version and not the TLC 2.0
You didn't use the new SNS advanced formula. But, thats ok. Both products work great.
I also noticed. But still, I'd give Graphene Flex a shot since it can be used as a Spray and Rinse Maintenance.
I prefer the original here.
@@pinoypop02 So can Seal and shine.
Very versatile and a third of the cost of Flex 👍🏴
Im confused on what the difference between the flex wax and max wax is? Would a dry and properly applied layer of flex wax do the same as max wax? Is it worth it getting both or just one
Simply amazing. I don’t know what else to say. Thanks for sharing.
Outstanding info! Thanks doing all the tests and putting these out. I have a feeling my vehicle will look better than the day it left the dealer lot!
We actually prefer the original formula here.
@@apexdetail85 Can I use Turtlewax FLEX spray wax As a topper to Ceramic coating?
Love the way you explain everything! 🥇🏆
*I would like to see comparison between:*
1) Hybrid Solutions Pro Flex Wax
2) Griot’s Garage 3-in-1 Ceramic Wax
3) IGL EZ (it’s very new product as far as I know).
Impressive. Superior gloss and its breakdown stage goes to clean sheeting. I'd be interested to see Flex Wax against 303 Graphene.
Another informative comparison. Turtle Wax seems to be doing their homework. Products are released after the Black Friday/Cyber Monday rush. Strategic move as always.
Man, ive always stayed away from Turtle wax due to the stuff i tried back in the 90's, stuff was horrible. Turtle Wax has definately did their homework, their products rock now
Project Farm of the detailing world! Thank you Apex!!
Depending on the price.. I will stick with sns. The gloss meter is stupid crazy for flex though
Are we gonna see it go against the Hybrid Ceramic?
This please!!
Yes! I don't trust pan the advertiser.
Yes please
Seal n Shine already beat it!
Haha I trust Pan. Great content and honest opinions.
TW are making insanely good products these days!!!👍🏼💪🏼
flex wax on top of tw ceramic hybrid spray coating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! with gloss readings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank you for all you do!
It's a ball tearer👍🏽
Great video Brian, they certainly went the distance and punch well above thier price point.
Can't wait til they get to Australia 🇦🇺.
By then I'm sure there will be numerous more videos but you are the benchmark O/S.
