Just a thank you. Ceramic coated with crystal serum light after using 3m polish (step 2 and 3 I use) with a wool pad on the machine and wow. That ceramic coating is beyond amazing. It’s been on since last Thursday and garaged for the most part but had it out yesterday and we had a quick summer rain and nothing stayed on the car. Just rolled right off. I did not ceramic coat my windows but I did put a nice application of technicians choice 582 and I was laughing. At 40 mph down the road the rain was just rolling off the window like I was in a wind tunnel. I never even turned on the wipers. Today no hint the car even saw rain. No water spots nothing. Amazing. I can’t wait to be able to wash the car (one more week to make sure the ceramic coating is good?) and put a nice application of technicians choice over it. The finish on that black paint is unlike anything I ever saw and I have used some great waxes in the past.
Great video. Been using the Flex Wax and Hybrid Ceramic for a few years. The real differences only show up after several months, if you apply only once (they even out if you apply two coats of the Hybrid Ceramic like the bottle says).
In my opinion, if you're doing this for a business, always buy in bulk. If you're a weekend warrior, the TW Hybrid Ceramic products will work just fine, probably lasting for months. But you will need to apply it two or three times a year, depending on driving and winter conditions.
I use all three items here, they all have their virtues. I would point out as a gr8 all-rounder the 3-1 Ceramic Detailer is a terrific value off the shelf 32 oz. sprayer @ $12-15! I use it on the wheels of both my and wifey's car [barrels too] - shine and durability is superb. 👍 Shine on you crazy diamonds!
I'm having the same great results with the TW Ceramic-wax spray..and was SO easy I'd be willing to re-apply every month and 4-6 weeks during good weather and right before winter I'll do it for sure.
True. The small bottle one is just a pain to apply. I tried the turtle graphene and turtle ceramic one. The graphene one is good to be used as a base coating. It’s easy to get streak..
My car is 23 years old and beautiful. Have always taken care of the paint. If your car is paid for and you care about what your car looks like. It can actually be like meditation. I enjoy it. If i only i can find somebody to pay me for the service.😊
All 3 TW products are good. Ceramic Spray I like the best. To keep my Camry looking good and shiny afterwards, use Adams Detail Spray because it does not leave any streaks and removes developing water spots, bug splatter, or bird pop is easy to wipe off and dries quickly. 3M acquired Turtle Wax and Meguiars some years ago, but feel that 3M is pushing and developing Turtle Wax products as the go-to car care product over Meguiars. I also have TW ICE Seal N Shine. Sometimes it is hard to favor one over the other. I buy when discounted or on sale and grab a few. I use 303 Graphene Trim Coating on exterior plastic as does not discolor the plastic trim, the only problem with most all 303 Products is Longevity. 303 Leather 3 in 1 does keep my 2023 Camry XSE 3.5L V6 faux leather "SofTex" seats in great condition as need to spray onto clean microfiber cloth and not directly onto the seat.(a damp cloth is better than letting the seat absorb wetness or a soaking.) Wipe and Dry and your seat still looks new.
If you want really nice finish and short term protection. Mirror polishes Touchless is amazing! Foam on and rinse off. Good slickness, gloss and about 1 month of protection.
Graphene Flex may be just a spray but what it puts on the car is fairly hard. Go ahead and use a few sprays more than suggested and you will find out it really does leave a coating. Don't worry. Two or three rinses and moist buffings will smooth out the excess. One bottle should last your lifetime.
When you do your Porsche I would really like to see all the products you use along with the tools!! I know this is a special car so how will you make it beautiful? Great video as always!!! Stay safe and well!! Thanks!
Totally agree would be a great series. Starting with a car that has a 'good but normal' finish, similar to most of our cars. Going through the whole process, step by step. Wash, decon, clay, 2 stage polish/correction, apply ceramic coating. The before and after results.
ceramic spray definitely was better and it’s not all about how identical they look, the spray coating lasts way longer than the other 2, you can get almost a year with 2 coats from the spray coating
I love the Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating and love it. The Graphene Flex wax is so much harder to keep from smearing. I use the Ceramic Spray twice a year and the paint surface is always, always, clean. Because of the unusually high rain we have experienced, I did not wash the vehicle for six months and it was always clean, just with natural rain. Incredible product.
Vicious cycle Josh: Save your time and energy and try a boars hair car wash brush on a telescopic pole to push the foam around. "Love marks on the clear coat" and you use microfiber towels that will trap the grit and add more love marks, polish out the love marks, use a microfiber wash towel, polish out the love marks... Save the Towels for customer cars to keep them coming back sooner and wash your own car(s) with boars hair.
Appreciate detailed comparison. Have been using ceramic hybrid for awhile and also the detailer. Very pleased with how has performed and very easy to do. Maybe thinking of trying the graphene. Products very nice so difference seems maybe to be very slight.
I use TW ceramic spray, get about a month out of it before I reapply. I also apply this while the car is wet and have no issues. Saves drying time and is easy to apply.
I will say that Adams VRT is one of the top rated tire shine products that got top marks from someone's massive product testing on TH-cam. He provided an excel file and The VRT had the least sling and longest durability. I would assume it would be the same on rubber windows/seals. There is also a mix someone did on YT that makes 303 Protectant last longer on exterior rubber. 24oz 303, 4oz baby oil, 4oz baby lotion. Apparently it makes 303 last a lot longer . Lots of options but I'll let IMJOSH chime in if he recommends anything.

I've applied the ceramic (2 coats) and have been maintaining it with the 3in1 as a drying aid. 2 months in and it's as good as day one. I wonder if it'll make it to next winter.

I tried the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray on my red car, and the streaking was terrible. And that was in the shade and not oversprayed. You don't notice the streaks until the light hits a certain angle and then it looked bad. I spent a lot of time trying to buff out the streaks using dry then damp cloths, it was a pain and time consuming. Maybe on some other color vehicle that doesn't show streaking it would look better.
