    "It was a bit streaky, hazzy, had high spots and harder to apply". Probaby because you didnt follow the ceramic solutions directions, you applied too much. An entire hood only needs 2 sprays, but you gave that tiny surface 6.

    Seal and Shine is absolutely the most incredible spray wax on the market!!!!!! Been using it for almost a year and it still wows me. Tried almost every name brand wax under $20.00 bucks over a span of 40 years and nothing has been better. All the ceramic and graphene stuff is CRAP and too expensive. They also streak so much they are a bear to remove. The key to Seal & Shine is to use one small spray on a microfiber pad per 1/3 of a panel and immediately wipe it off. Spray a tiny squirt to where you won't see it haze. If you use too much it will streak just like all the other spray waxes. You will get an amazing shine and incredible water beading. Also found out that the slickness is gone after 8 weeks (probably because my truck is never in a garage or shade so I do wax it every 6 weeks except in December and January. Also S&S smells so-o-o-o-o good. Get ya some for 10 bucks and you won't be disappointed.

    I wash the car and drive about 2 minutes to a local mini mall parking lot.
    I wipe away 80% of the remaining water with a microfiber towel and then give my little corolla:
    2 squirts of Seal N Shine per panel
    1 squirt of Ceramic Spray per panel
    I then use a 1 new microfiber towel to very quickly apply the product..... Maybe 15 to 20 seconds per panel ... (Keep it simple! It's not rocket science.)
    Lastly, I use use another dry microfiber towel to give a very quick buff & voila = finished.
    In total it takes me three small microfiber towels to do the entire car.
    1 - to dry
    2 - to apply the product
    3 - to buff
    Procedure takes less than 4 to 5 minutes...

      I suggest the ICE SPRAY WAX as a maintainance topper over the Seal&Shine. It is a bit easier to work, has really decent durability, and really brings the gloss up a notch from an already good shine from the Seal&Shine. And for what you get - the results are a gr8 value!

    I think turtle wax is better then angle. I used the turtle to the max graphene compound and flex spray as 2nd coating on my truck , turtle wax ceramic spray 2 coats on dad car, and my brother angle ceramic done by professionals. We feel both turtle waxes looks better , more hydrophobic, and drying is a lot smoother with towel or air dry. 1 year in on all 3 vehicles and turtle wax graphene and ceramic still looks really good with only 1 reapply after 6 months. The graphene has a hard thick shine/gloss , and the turtle wax ceramic has more of a super wet glossy look. Only thing I can say good about the angle ceramic is it looks super thick but sticky, we can tell the difference when drying for sure. I couldn’t get my hands on the graphene paste wax when I did my truck but planning on doing a 3 layer with graphene compound, graphene flex spray, and graphene paste wax and see how that goes..

    Graphene goes on great and comes off just ok. Had to use a damp towel and buff again but it was easier and the shine and slickness is insane. Then... it rains and though it beads up great, the beads don't roll off like you think they would leaving water spots everywhere. Also tried the spray on/hose off method. Makes one HELL of a mess on the hood and all the glass. Had to wash the car again and use Windex on all the glass. I'll use it up but I won't buy it again. I'll stick to the ceramic.

    I've used SnS for years. Great stuff, but about four years ago, I tried Hybrid Solutions. I like it better and it's been my go to since. Then about two years ago, I tried Graphene. I actually prefer Hybrid over Graphene. I felt that there's more slickness and it lasts longer. For me, I've found the SnS is a little harder to use. It doesn't come off as easy as Hybrid. And Graphene definitely left streaking that was not easy to get off.
    One difference is that I normally wax in the sun with a freshly washed and clayed surface. Most times I don't polish, but sometimes I do, depending on the condition of the surface. And of course I'll use some iron remover as needed. Doing this in the sun may have given me different results than you had. The Graphene was very difficult to remove the streaks.
    As for longevity, I think the Hybrid Solutions lasts longer than SnS. I did a test on my new car with Hybrid Solutions and Graphene. The Hybrid Solutions lasted longer than the Graphene.
    Great video! I like the honest results you've provided. Definitely not an advertisement for TW Graphene!

    If water beading longevity is all you're concerned with,the Griot's 3 in 1 ceramic will beat most all competitors. ScottHD's channel,and his extreme long term testing,proved this. And I've tested many waxes myself. But,I don't wait 4+ months,and 12 washes,before I'm going to wax my car! So if you really care about your car's appearance. And if you want the most for your car when you're going to sell it later,you should be doing more than just waxing it every four months or more. I have both used the Turtle wax hybrid solutions ceramic spray,and the Griot's 3 in 1 ceramic. The Griot's does last longer. Here's the thing. I moved from San Jose Ca.,to Port Orange Florida. It rains here all the time!And it's hotter,and insanely humid. The Griots 3 in 1 does last longer,but it makes big beads.The TW hybrid Ceramic spray ,makes small beads. The result? Griot's leaves bigger,deeper (the kind that has to be machine polished out) water marks. Also,the Griots 3 in 1,because of the humidity here,is prone to more gummy,hard to get out,streaking. So,I'm using the Turtle Wax more than the Griot's now,especially on the hood,roof,and trunk lid,where water spots are more likely to etch into the paint. I wish there was a wax that could prevent water spots.I haven't found one yet. But according to many reviews from pro detailers, what makes the Turtle Wax Max Graphene woth the price? Not longevity! Gloss and depth. Proven with gloss meter readings.Now I'm thinking about trying the TW graphene max liquid wax. Not for longevity. But I've seen other test and noticed very tight,small,water beads,like the Hybrid ceramic spray. And from my experience,I'd say the TW ceramic spray is slightly glossier the than Griot's 3 in 1. The TW graphene Max is even more. And since I have 3 Da buffers and a huge assortment of foam,microfiber,and wool,pads, using them with the TW graphene Max shouldn't be a problem. But it's the gloss level and depth that separates the TW graphene Max wax from many other competitors. Not longevity.

      Thanks for the comment dude, and thank you for watching, I totally agree with you. I actully protect my car weekly. • @SHODUUP

      But isn’t water beading a clear telltale sign of a product working offering protection as intended ? Gloss aside. Just from a pure protection stand point ?

    • @APASSIONFORDETAILING
      @APASSIONFORDETAILING  ปีที่แล้ว

      @MV85 yes it is normally some products sheet for months after the beading has gone

    • @deydrm
      @deydrm ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SHODUUP All car waxes will bead water to some degree. The type of water beading that a particular product creates can be seen in many of the tests being uploaded on TH-cam by reviewers. The major point of interest is how long will the product last. And how durable is it when different cleaning solutions are used. But I already addressed this issue in my response above. Because no wax that I'm aware of will completely prevent water spots forming on your paint.And if you let those water spots build up,and overlap, your car's gloss is going to be greatly reduced. Once there's a mineral (mainly calcium)build up on your paint surface,the only solution is to use a water spot remover.Or,to use a compound that has cutting ability. Both solutions require a lot of work. I use Meguiars Ultimate compound for this task because it works,and it's cheap. But I have four machine polishers and over 70 pads to work with. Many people won't or don't have the equipment,or the knowledge,to do paint correction.
      So,wanting a wax that last for over 5 months and a dozen or more washings is pointless for me. And for people who want to take care of their cars, well you shouldn't be that lazy and only wax your car after four months or more. Because of the rain and humidity here in Florida,I'm waxing my cars at least within three weeks. And I wipe my cars off using an absorber right after it rains,so the waterspots don't build up on them.I've found that when the wax is fresh,less than three weeks old,most of the waterspots can be removed with just rubbing them with a damp absorber. And because I used an absorber almost daily,I rarely wash my car with soap in the first place.I wipe the car down to remove the dirt and dust almost everyday. It really doesn't take long at all because my cars are always slick from the wax. So since wax durability and longevity is not the issue for me,the slickness and gloss factor is number one.
      Now I've been testing the Turtle Wax Max graphene liquid wax for the last few weeks. Hands down it's the glossiest and slickest wax I've tested and used. The only product I know about that can produce this gloss level is Xtreme Solutions Topper,which isn't a wax. And Topper is more slick to the touch than The TW Max graphene wax is. But that slickness doesn't last as long. Why is slickness important?Because it helps repel dust,pollen (which is unbelievable here in Florida),and dirt,and bugs (lot's of them here in Florida also)that sticks to your paint. If you want durability(and it's not as glossy or slick as many other products I've tested),then Griot's 3 in 1 Ceramic spray cannot be beaten. In the TH-cam channel SCottHD, he tested 30 products for over a year! Griots 3 in 1 was the cheapest,and it won! Because it's not that glossy or slick,I use it only on the roofs of my cars as a base coat. Turtle Wax hybrid solutions ceramic spray wax goes on my cars within every two weeks. And I use Griots Boss Carnuba spray wax,because it's cheap and glossy, on the roofs,and windows,after every time it rains here.Which usually is once within every two weeks here. Florida weather is extreme and will punish your car if you cannot garage them. The sun,heat,and humidity,will crack your dashboard,oxidize your paint,dry rot your tires, and rust like cancer,will spread through panels, if you don't paint over the rock chips and deep scratches.

      @SHODUUP ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@deydrm I live in Canada wheee four months out of the year hand washing your car is out of the equation for the majority of the Canadian population. I personally don’t know of anyone that has a heated garage for their daily drivers where they get washed on a weekly or ever basis. The toy cars, well- they don’t get much use at all and live in the garage only.
      But the daily driver will have to get good protection in the late fall season (October- November) because after that washing it and polishing it outside is not an option till April is weather permits.
      If I was in Florida It would be a different story :) over here having a chemical that will combat the existing chemicals we put on the roads over the winter is priority.
      So if something like griots ceramic 3-1 will get me past the crappy winter season until hand washing can commence; that’s job no#1

    honestly after using everything here and more, it doesn't freakin matter which one you choose, they all are great and affordable and most importantly, protect and make your vehicle look better and reduce maintenance wash times. For me I like Griots 3 in 1 ceramic which has traces of Carnuba which is princely why it does improve gloss to me but if not available I go with the Flex Spray Wax hands down shiniest one and I can use as a drying aide every few washes to maintain its effectiveness. any wax or coating you can apply to your drying towel is by far the most important quality in a spray on protection product if it needs to be applied to a dry car every time. I won't purchase it. although you could probably apply some of them to wet vehicles without issue after initial dry application even if mfg doesn't mention it.

    I recently used the Graphene Flex Wax Spray and it was SO difficult to wipe with a microfiber. The thickness of the liquid caused my towel to drag A LOT and it was incredibly streaky. I'd compare it to trying to wipe something like spray paint. Before applying it, I washed my car with the Graphene car shampoo from Turtle Wax and then dried my car completely inside my garage (in the shade). I'm not sure if I got a bad batch or something. I did like how you put it on an applicator/towel instead of spraying it directly onto the paint. That's how I'll do it next time (if i even use it again).
    Before this I used the TW ceramic spray for a long time and that was my favorite! But I had to jump on the graphene train to see what all the hype was about 😅

    Its okay to apply between 1-2months
    I had a expereic with hars to buff producs, i taken care of my paint with very2 safe washing and drying, but cuz the hard to buff products i used, it got me some minor scratches which overtime, more and more visible as time comes.

      His name isn't Jesus, the letter J and sound didn't even exist more than 500 years ago. So no one had the letter J or the J sound in their name before 1524.
      It wasn't until 1524 when Gian Giorgio Trissino, an Italian Renaissance grammarian known as the father of the letter J coined the sound and letter.
      His name is ישוע (oldest writing) pronounced yehōshu'a or Yeshua. Yahawashi is the pronunciation without the mesoretic vowel points and probably the most accurate of them all.
