Dude, keep doing what you’re doing. We use the Turtle wax a lot, Seal and Shine as a base then wait for about 15 minutes, put the spray wax on top and it seems to work pretty good that way... Might be wasting product here but the customer really likes the outcome!
You should do a tournament style setup of waxes and sealants. Like use all of the sealants and waxes you've made videos on in a big last man standing tournament to find out just which one would be strongest. We might see some interesting things like the turtle wax products completely destroying marketed sealants that boast much more protection and are like 5x the price. Setting things up like that could also allow for a multi part series were you to show the application and use a gloss meter to show what each product can do then show water beading/sheeting and finally commence the REAL tournament by beating them up with chemicals until only one protectant is left.
The Spray Wax actually performed the best in this test. After Purple Power was applied and rinsed. The Seal & Shine removed water faster but had a lot more water beads on the surface. The Spray Wax sheeted slower but had a lot less water on the surface at the end. Great video!
I'm gonna sound like a sales man for turtle wax but I swear by the turtle wax ice spray. I have used all kinds of detailers, waxs and polishes for over 20 plus years and even since I have started using the ice I get compliments all the time from people saying wow your car has an amazing shine what are you using. This stuff rocks. 👍
And this is why I've started using the Turtle Wax spray wax. I've experienced nothing but good things with it so far, and I only use to be a paste wax guy
i bought a bottle of tw ice spray wax, wow, what a product! great shine and easy application. i do like it better than maguires. i liked how it cleaned away hard water spots. a great product at a a good low price.
Your point about removal makes these torture tests valid.that is why i,m staying away from the cermic sealants for now.i have no garage, weather here in Tn is a factor.being able to do a full on corection or polish is out.1 or 2 panels at a time....then its 90 degrees and sunny.i need a product that holds up to normal abuse but can be removed with out a stroke or heart attack in the process.tw ice spray wax meets the requirement.
So a awhile back I completely washed my black VW down with degreaser so all previous wax products were gone. I applied my TW Ice wax and it looked awesome. So this morning I'm at a friend's place and whip out my ice wax and do my car and it looked horrible.. looked smeared all over I was like WTF... then after much contemplating I realized it was my towel.. I didn't have my micro fiber towels so I used some really soft and new Terry cloth towels... I popped down to the car parts store got some micro fiber towels and redid the car and BIZAM looked incredible. So just a little heads up, when TW says use micro fiber they mean USE MICRO FIBER!
Ice spray is amazing just for the gloss and the fact that it can be used as topper for literally any base coat. Whereas SnS needs bare paint for maximum results.
You are one of only a couple you tubers that has a good size you tube channel and the other couple that I subscribe to one of them is a really big detailer out of Dallas hint hint and they never never ever reply to my comments now once . So it’s come to the point where I don’t even write comments to them anymore. I also have used soft 99 fusso. It started to rain so I still have a couple spots left to wax. I have half of the roof left I think I’ll put.soft 99 fusso on there tomorrow. Like I said I will keep you informed. And I really appreciate you getting back to me it makes me feel like the person on the other end that is making the videos appreciates me watching them thank you
Well done! This video is exactly what I have been looking for. I have been using Turtle Wax Spray Wax for years. I was actually looking to buy the Seal & Shine but could not find it at my local auto parts store so I picked up more Spray Wax. I like sheeting over beading so it is nice to see my tried and true Turtle Wax Spray Wax still has it where it counts. Also kudos to Turtle Wax. They could have just taken one product off of the market or nerfed it but instead they put out 2 great products and compete against themselves.
Bought a bottle of the spray wax yesterday and waxed both my cars twice. This stuff is awesome! I paid $8 and it was well worth it. I still have over half a bottle. This stuff is unreal. Just try it out if you haven't .
I would much rather have the water sheet of my vehicle than bead up....rain, beads, if you can't wipe it off quickly, those beads act like little magnifying glasses and burns in water spots. good video

$7.33 Now. I'd like to see a Turtle Wax Ice Seal n Shine versus a paste wax like Turtle Wax Ice Paste Wax or Meguiar's Ultimate Paste Wax. It would be interesting to see the results.
stove611 - check out this link. It's Seal n Shine vs. Soft 99 Fusso coat. Many consider soft99 to be one of the best paste waxes, though synthetic, and certainly one of the longest lasting pastes. Though he rates 99 the winner and only by a slight margin, my observation suggested that TW won. Enjoy th-cam.com/video/MxzD7lnJosI/w-d-xo.html
Just used the Seal and Shine on my Rav 4. It’s been raining the last couple of days and I came out to find the beading on my car whereas my mom’s car was dry. After going for a ride the water ran off and the beautiful shine came through. I cannot wait to see how long this will last. So far so good. $6.97 Walmart.
Aditya Pratama Because I really wanted to test it out. I have not washed it yet. Still beading not as much, but the car still looks pretty good. Will wash again this week. I think it’s been about a month. I like it.
Hi Jimbo, I have used both Wax & Seal and Seal and Shine. I have CQ Quartz on my dark blue metallic car. Both Turtles work great as a top coat BUT the Seal and Shine leaves curing streaks which require a lot more buffing to make them disappear. Wax and Seal is easy on and off with no curing streaks. For me, I'd rather wax and seal 3 X per year than one coat of seal and shine and have my arms cramp up. LOL Great videos Jimbo.
Apex Detail does the brine that is used on the roads, in the winter, and also introduces ~140 degrees to the panels when doing his evaluations. As I have said to him, if they don't hold up to the heat it doesn't matter what else it may do without the heat test. Any dark car in Texas will kill a lot of these applications. Thanks for your time for doing these tests!
Overkill alert! How about a video where Seal and Shine is applied first (As TW recommends) then Ice Spray Wax - vs - the reverse order to see which holds up to your torture tests best... ! Could ANY product at ANY price beat this dynamic duo??!! 👊😎
I started out getting reviews for exoforma ceramic shield. I have a Black car and have used most of the products you have tested I kept going back to Meguiars quick wax and quick detailer for maintenance but I have never tried the turtle wax product. After watching i dont know how many of your videos I will have to try the seal & shine. Thanks for the videos I found them all quite informative and yes i am now a subscriber.
One thing I would like to mention is you spray each side with 3 sprays of wax then proceed to spray the eagle one 17 and 25 sprays to left and right side on first test , if you really want to make this test fair is only spray the eagle one 3 sprays per side. just an idea. thx. JJ.
Like another commenter said, the ICE seal N Shine in Canada says it is synthetic with SIO2 and carnuba mixed hybrid. I gotta say, it is hands down the most durable product at this price and ease of application, we have it at our local Walmart for about 15$ Canadian dollars and I feel like they are going to fly off the shelves. In my experience it held up better than Fast Finish and UQW.
Hi, Jimbo Cool review of 2 very good Turtle Wax products. I've enjoyed using both of these spray on wipe on wipe off's. I did find that the Seal & Shine did have a slight edge, showing better protection. Both products provide great shine & gloss. You can't beat TW for quality & savings, great bang for the buck.
I do both😂🤷♂️ use the shine then after I use the wax. Really the wax one if you dry it with a towel it's good but if you use a blower to dry it the beads are what you want. Personally to if your car sits out it's better to not too have beading to prevent water drops being baked into clear coat.
Jim, great idea to add salt and heat..Living in Chicago the salt is a killer in winter...Idea, Anyway you could add a tree sap test? Not sure how you could simulate that though..Thanks for the vids
Dr.Detail but the regular ice spray wax is better as far as budget, here the seal n shine is $11 and the wax one is like $6, and beading is not as good as the other.
Your wax tests has encouraged me to try Turtle Wax Ice because it holds up better than the more expensive products and its available at a low price. I had an opportunity to use the TW Interior Cleaner & Protestant, the lingering funky odor is a deal breaker (some reviews say it stinks and I agree). For a spray wax that competes with Meguirs and Optimum in the 6-10 dollar price range, I really like the Turtle Wax Ice Spray Wax.
I bought both Tuttle Wax products at Wally World for under $13- including tax. I use the wax after a wash, the Seal and Shine I use for touch ups to remove water spots, bird droppings. I am interesting to know what a used car door cost at a salvage yard.
Do you think you can get the best of both by combining them? Seal and shine first for the durability and top it off with the spray wax. Reapply spray wax after every wash, while seal and shine every 2-3 months.
Awesome choice for a video brother!!! This ain't your grandpa's turtle wax. Turtle wax ICE products are the best retail products in my testing I'd still like to see their liquid was and paste wax too. If you like the spray wax and seal and shine I think you'll be surprised with the liquid and paste waxes. Best of all, won't hurt plastic and as long as it isn't very oxidized protects them well too
Turtle wax ice, best wax ive ever tried in 30 years, it repels dust, very easy to apply and remove, cheap, what else you want, just use a sealer before then maintain the shine with ice every 15 days if you want 30 days its still good.if u use the paste, wow, u can see water beading after 3 months
That's funny, I have never considered smell when evaluating a product. But I've never had a very strong sense of smell to begin with. I love CarPro Reload, that stuff has quite an odd smell to it.. 😀👍👌✌
exactly. so is this SMELL test and NOT which product is better ? I love coconut smell SO anything smells like coconut is a winner for me. I WILL BE USING COCONUT OIL OR SOMETHING COCONUT AS A WAX,CLEANER ETC.. FROM NOW ON THEN. LOL.
Definitely gonna try the seal and shine. Thanks for the video review. Also like the salt and heat idea. I’m in Alabama. What about a video for bugs and road tar? That’s the biggest issues I’m facing during this time of year.
I have the same problem in South Florida. Salt, heat, and bugs. Love-bug season on the turnpike is the worst. What works the best so that bugs come off with a simple wash? I hate breaking out the bug and tar removal cause it generally means I have to rewax afterwards.
Richard R tell me about it. I’ll clean my vehicle up to perfection. Go for an evening drive and 5 minutes later windshield is covered in big guts. Oh. By the way. The Seal and Shine is the absolute BEST!!!!!
Great video mate.. Beading collects dust and dirt that floats in the air. Then when the beads dry in the sun or shade it leaves dirty water spots. I think sheeting would possibly fix that problem.
I watched several tests of the 'Ice Seal And Shine'. The Ice Seal And Shine comes out much more hydrophobic in all the other ones. But the one thing that no one EVER shows is how ANY product works against real world 'waters'. Like irrigation water from sprinklers. Show THAT getting all over a freshly waxed/polished car, and the sun BAKING it into the finish. Show which one really protects the finish. Fresh water from a hose is ok. But how about rain, sprinkler water, REAL WORLD water? This and all the other video comparisons are ok, and is showing this Ice is pretty darn good! But how about 1 REAL WORLD water tests of this and a bunch of other products? Can you tell I just had 'sprinkler water' baked onto my freshly detailed finish? :) So, an idea!
I would like to see the results of these tests after the waxed panels have cured for a couple of days to see if the extra curing makes a difference in their durability.
I've had it rain right as I was finishing up applying Seal N Shine and it looked great afterwards. I spray on wipe right off, it's such a thin coating. I think surface prep is more critical than curing time. I always clay before applying Seal N Shine, even if I'm reapplying it month later just to layer it. I find the Nanoskin Autoscrub intermediate grade 7"x7" towel is fantastic for my paint.
Good video, thanks! I washed my black truck yesterday and didn't wipe it down. Later I found water-spots that my Groits detailer wouldn't remove. I had to use scratch-remover on the hood to get rid of the spot outlines. So I guess I will try the Turtle Spray Wax. Less beads would be better, I think!
Awesome video! I am new to this channel but so glad I found it. I normally would not use Turtle Wax products (Meguiars fanatic here) but after seeing the video, I am going to pick one of these products up. They can be good for me when I just want to do a "Quick Wax" on my vehicles in between pulling out the buffer and using my Meguiars line. Shot out to Turtle Wax for making some good products at a good price point. I see that every store has upped the price on both products from the $5 and change range to $8 or $9 in change now that these videos are getting out. Either way, still a good value. I would not use them in place of my regular buffing and waxing, but only for a quick wax.
I've heard so many good things about them. I love Meg's hybrid ceramic spray, but I NEED to try this combo. I love the Meg's for its ability to spray a bit on when washing as a top up
@@ml-fishing1341 I also love Meg's HCW since I can use it as a drying aid. Prior to using it, I was washing, rinsing, drying, QD (because I couldn't dry it fast enough to not get water spots), then TW ice spray wax. Now I just use HCW after the rinse, then dry. I was actually thinking of using TW ice spray wax on top of HCW because I really love a slick car. I loved how slick the ice spray wax made the paint. I've never used anything that made a smoother surface. I tried Seal N Shine once and was not a fan. It was very streaky for me, and not as slick as the ice spray wax.
i just need something to go over black plastic cladding. if both of these products do that, then they are winners in my book. for the home wash guy, simple, fast, easy, decent product life is what I shoot for. TW has two winners and easy to find in local stores.
I was really debating on getting the ice blue bottle one but then when I went to Walmart I saw the seal and shine and I was still debating which one to get so I'm glad I actually got the seal and shine I use it on my 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo it's red, the hoods of little rough so I needs to little claying but the rest of body is pretty smooth I did the whole body sprayed it on wiped it on did a lil touch up any spots on might've missed and I look forward to getting any kind of water on it to see how it works but the shine is very amazing I thank you for your videos that you put out to inform us and are products that one purchase this helped out very Well I'm glad I chose it I just saw this video after I put it on it makes me really happy
II love to keep my cars really clean so I was and wax them weekly. I tend to go overboard on what I use to clean my cars and I was wondering if you were willing to test the combined chemicals I use to clean my car in a video and do the torture test. I layer the following products in this order after I wash my car: 1) Maguire's Hybrid Ceramic Wax (Base Coat was already applied. I spray it on after the car is wash and hose it off) 2) Turtle Wax : Wax & Dry (I use this as a drying aid) 3) Maguire's Fast Finish 4) Turtle Wax Ice Spray Wax 5) Turtle Wax Ice Seal and Shine I really like your videos and I hope you continued to produce awesome content.
Just got Seal and Shine been using Turtle wax Ice price difference is $1.00 at Walmart doing the same test on the hood of my black Wrangler get back on my opinion of the two .
@@edo-j1784 I divided the hood on a black Wrangler to soon to make a call if there's a difference between the two give me the months I'll get back to you
Great video. Like you I too enjoy detailing my vehicles, my bike is like a mirror. You seem worried about the knockers? Don't be, your test is a torture chamber SO if it can survive your test or last awhile it will work on the road! If they still don't get it don't worry there's lot's of us that get it. Please keep up the good work 😉😊
Walmart Canada is charging $12 for the Turtle Wax ice spray wax.. $14 for the seal and shine. Excellent products thank you for the review. I'm currently using mother's CMX ceramic coating. Definitely a game-changer.
@Moto Z Play I bought the Turtle Wax ice which is Simply Amazing! However the mothers ceramic coating is a definite game changer.. super durable and a real ceramic coating!! Check out Mother's cmx.
@Moto Z Play The Cure time is 24 hours for the initial coating. He waited two hours.. check out other videos and you can see they use panel prep and other abrasive products and it does not remove the mother's cmx.
Water beads only enhances visibility and safety (not so much about sexiness, I get a lot of compliments; but I have other motivations, lol), otherwise I probably apply just as much (or even double) polish/wax to the windows versus the actual paint it was intended to protect...lol...F11 versus other products or even Technician's Choice, respectfully/possibly...I'm very glad to see companies competing and creating products that are incredibly easy to use, and very effective because it really helps me see my surroundings in bad weather...
Just did a comparison of my own. I have a older car 2007 Pontiac G6. Metallic green 3.5 L V6 kind of fast. I would consider it in good condition as far as the paint goes but there are some big nicks. But anyway I fully corrected my hood actually the whole car but the test is on the hood. Drivers side I used adams ceramic liquid wax. On passenger side. Turtle wax ice paste wax. I noticed right off the bat the turtle wax side is much slicker and more slippery. I placed the bottle of Adams ceramic liquid wax on on the Adams side at a exact point on the hood and it did slide off but kinda slow. On the Turtle wax side at the same place on the hood the bottle slid off much quicker. I will let you know which side last longer. I will do a two week update. I do tend to go through Delta sonic quite a bit as I work Uber and have to keep the car clean and sometimes I just don’t have time to do the hand wash thing
Watch this again.. Almost was going to buy seal and shine. Tis the season. New stuff, multiple stop.. But I think I'm going to stick with the spray wax oh, I just found a week ago. And run with that this summer on all my cars. It seems like great stuff.
well...used the seal and shine a few times....and wow. kind of liking it better than the spray wax. goes on great, comes off great and what a shine. huh...and it's cheaper right now.
I like the idea of using a salt based test. At least up in the northern states (living in PA at the moment) the winter time is truly a brutal experience for any kind of car paint. And if you could test also the temperature application factor (not sure where you are based out of) that would also be important. Up here it isn’t out of the question to be washing the salt off your car in a mid 30’s temp day. I do wonder how well the products bond at higher temps versus lower temps. Im sure there would be weaknesses on both ends of the spectrum. Heat is also important (heat after application AND heat before application). If you get some time too maybe using crushed ice and spreading it over the test area and letting it sit to test durability under colder conditions. I like what you’re doing here! Keep up the good work.
I'm like a die-hard Meguiars fan and user for a long time. I've seen multiple videos comparing seal n shine to everything else and it always kills everything else. Meguiars needs to take note that Turtle Wax is kind of leaving them behind.
The shitty thing is products like this are labeled as "DIYer" or "enthusiast" products, whatever that means, when they're clearly good quality. It's durability reminds me of power lock
clay if needed follow with cleaner wax or aio after a few days use seal and shine after a wash , i did this and my car looks very wet the aio i used was dura gloss 101
Hey Jimbo, with all these spray coatings out there you could do a test on which one has best, if any; gloss improvement. Start with stripped panel take measurements with your new gyzmo you got spray sections down and retake measurements
Dude, keep doing what you’re doing. Most the the kiddies commenting on what’s ‘not realistic’ are not grasping the simple fact the tests demonstrate accelerated deterioration of the coating on the substrate. It’s that simple. On the Amazon product page under the questions section, the manufacturer says that you can use the wax as a topper over the seal and shine.

That’s the thing. I never really understood the purpose of beading the water if regular untreated paint would still keep water on the paint as well.

Good tests. I'm going to pick the turtle wax ice. I enjoyed watching your tests that were non-biased. The results speak for themselves.
I am glad you did the test, buy either one and both work. Nice final word on the ice twins.
If u can get both products for $10 together. I will use both. First apply wax and then top of that apply seal and shine. Best of both world
Still cheaper than meguiars hcw
According to TW you should apply in the reverse order!
One thing I would like to mention is you spray each side with 3 sprays of wax then proceed to spray the eagle one 17 and 25 sprays to left and right side on first test , if you really want to make this test fair is only spray the eagle one 3 sprays per side. just an idea. thx. JJ.
Interesting seeing the different behavior...probably could use seal n shine as a base and then use spray wax as a topper during maintenance washes
I think that's the intended way of applying, it just doesn't disappoint.
Sealant before wax
Ok. Why do you put power lock on before collinite?
Like another commenter said, the ICE seal N Shine in Canada says it is synthetic with SIO2 and carnuba mixed hybrid. I gotta say, it is hands down the most durable product at this price and ease of application, we have it at our local Walmart for about 15$ Canadian dollars and I feel like they are going to fly off the shelves. In my experience it held up better than Fast Finish and UQW.
Mix and use both for the ultimate protection. Good job making this video.
Today, Jan 12, TW SnS is $7.33 at Amazon and that is the Prime price which includes shipping. It doesn't get any better than that!
For some reason the ice is hard to find up here in Ontario Canada but the seal and shine is easier to find can get at walmart .
Know now what to buy, drive a big rig and don't like it to go up the roof every month,(13.6)
Thanks for this test
Thanks!
I do both😂🤷♂️ use the shine then after I use the wax. Really the wax one if you dry it with a towel it's good but if you use a blower to dry it the beads are what you want. Personally to if your car sits out it's better to not too have beading to prevent water drops being baked into clear coat.
Apex details just did a video introducing heat he is really leading the pack when testing is concerned.
Interesting. I never watch his stuff but that’s cool he did
Saw that but not sure hitting with a blow torch is realistic. Not sure how you'd do it but that's a bit extreme
He probably should start....maybe learn something.lol
James Biedlar ??? Why the hate?
It is a copycat league... what did you expect really?
I used the tw hybrid ceramic spray coating ,man I loved it...my Tesla model y shines like a sun
Jim, great idea to add salt and heat..Living in Chicago the salt is a killer in winter...Idea, Anyway you could add a tree sap test? Not sure how you could simulate that though..Thanks for the vids
The Turtle Wax Seal n Shine would be great as a budget sealant for customers
Dr.Detail but the regular ice spray wax is better as far as budget, here the seal n shine is $11 and the wax one is like $6, and beading is not as good as the other.
Baby G-Wagon I’m new to the detailing industry what’s a good sealant or protector for a high end customer then?
Your wax tests has encouraged me to try Turtle Wax Ice because it holds up better than the more expensive products and its available at a low price. I had an opportunity to use the TW Interior Cleaner & Protestant, the lingering funky odor is a deal breaker (some reviews say it stinks and I agree). For a spray wax that competes with Meguirs and Optimum in the 6-10 dollar price range, I really like the Turtle Wax Ice Spray Wax.
The whole layers of protection thing is why they have the spray wax...it goes over the seal n shine. Just like any sealant/wax combo.....
I bought both Tuttle Wax products at Wally World for under $13- including tax. I use the wax after a wash, the Seal and Shine I use for touch ups to remove water spots, bird droppings. I am interesting to know what a used car door cost at a salvage yard.
Sometimes free
Do you think you can get the best of both by combining them? Seal and shine first for the durability and top it off with the spray wax. Reapply spray wax after every wash, while seal and shine every 2-3 months.
Yes for sure
Use both regularly. I think wax is much easier to apply and wipe clean. I like smell of both, but I like clean/cleaner smell over fruity smells.
Awesome choice for a video brother!!!
This ain't your grandpa's turtle wax.
Turtle wax ICE products are the best retail products in my testing
I'd still like to see their liquid was and paste wax too. If you like the spray wax and seal and shine I think you'll be surprised with the liquid and paste waxes. Best of all, won't hurt plastic and as long as it isn't very oxidized protects them well too
ICE Paste rocks.
I love the liquid ice wax. I think it's just as good as paste, I'm just too lazy for that!
I like how the Turtle Wax product came out.....
LOL.
@@tpphan665CAPS lock makes PEOPLE take you more SERIOUS
twitdaddy You think I give a fuck ?
Thank you Jimbo, you make my car waxing life easier and less frequent!! At almost 70 who knows how many car waxes I have left in me. Lol
I'm an older gentleman and I find these spray waxes/sealants where you can just spray and wipe off to be fantastic!
P&S brake buster is amazing on bugs safe for any clear coat and coatng the car may have. For road tar Im still on the hunt for that wow product
Goo gone for road tar
@@Greg_P611 Have you tried Citrol 266 or Goof Off Pro Strength??
To get best results mix them up together.
Was thinking the same but which would you put down first if it matters?
Bought a bottle of the ice spray wax and applied it to my '18 F150, ended up with more beading than sheeting!
Great video mate..
Beading collects dust and dirt that floats in the air. Then when the beads dry in the sun or shade it leaves dirty water spots. I think sheeting would possibly fix that problem.
Thanks!
Would be very interested in your opinion witch one you would use
Marc B. Agreed! Like salt from winter snow, especially in NYC.
I would like to see the results of these tests after the waxed panels have cured for a couple of days to see if the extra curing makes a difference in their durability.
Yes good idea
Neither of them say on the label (or manufacturer answers on Amazon) that there is any cure time.
I would not use them in place of my regular buffing and waxing, but only for a quick wax.
awesome glad to have you.
Turtle Wax recommends Seal N Seal then top off with Ice Spray Wax, see Pan the Organizer chats with Chemist from Turtle Wax...
Where can i see the video?
i just need something to go over black plastic cladding. if both of these products do that, then they are winners in my book. for the home wash guy, simple, fast, easy, decent product life is what I shoot for. TW has two winners and easy to find in local stores.
Thanks. Was curious about this. Finally found the ice Spray Wax, which I'm liking so far quite a bit.
its honestly a great product. one of my favorites.
Hi Jimbo, can i use seal n shine as a base and ice spray wax as a top coat(sacrificial layer)
I layer the following products in this order after I wash my car:
1) Maguire's Hybrid Ceramic Wax (Base Coat was already applied. I spray it on after the car is wash and hose it off)
2) Turtle Wax : Wax & Dry (I use this as a drying aid)
3) Maguire's Fast Finish
4) Turtle Wax Ice Spray Wax
5) Turtle Wax Ice Seal and Shine
I really like your videos and I hope you continued to produce awesome content.
That’s a great combo with lots of layers of protection.
Wow that's a lot of product.... And weekly!!!
Try to mix them together to see a result
I was thinking the same maybe do the seal n shine first followed by the wax.
@@anthonygiordano6265 I was also thinking the same thing, but wouldn't you put down the wax first and then seal over it as a top coat?
How about using Dawn dish soap in a foam wash as a torture test??
Lol
Oh man, you are ruthless! Great idea.
This would be an actual real-life application test lol
Just got Seal and Shine been using Turtle wax Ice price difference is $1.00 at Walmart doing the same test on the hood of my black Wrangler get back on my opinion of the two .
Did you do the comparison yet?
@@edo-j1784 I divided the hood on a black Wrangler to soon to make a call if there's a difference between the two give me the months I'll get back to you
Great video. Like you I too enjoy detailing my vehicles, my bike is like a mirror. You seem worried about the knockers? Don't be, your test is a torture chamber SO if it can survive your test or last awhile it will work on the road! If they still don't get it don't worry there's lot's of us that get it. Please keep up the good work 😉😊
Pan said "S&S can conbine with ice wax"
S&S as a Base + ice wax as a top layer. Is it ok?
Yes
Yes. That combo is actually stronger than most ceramic coatings under $100, and both are only like $20.
Walmart Canada is charging $12 for the Turtle Wax ice spray wax.. $14 for the seal and shine. Excellent products thank you for the review. I'm currently using mother's CMX ceramic coating. Definitely a game-changer.
@Moto Z Play yes I just walked into the Walmart store. I saw the third-party charge for this product, ridiculous!!
Been using ice spray wax for years and I believe it is just as good if not better than the seal and shine.
Here in Tennessee the cost of the Turtle Ice Spray in the blue bottle is 10 bucks.Turtle Ice is the best in my opinion.
I have a love hate relationship with Maguires waterless wash and wax smell
Ice spray wax comes with a better sprayer =) other than that I like them both and you cant go wrong with either.
Good video
I just did my truck tonight with the TW Spray Wax and thinking of doing a second coat in the morning.
Update
Pan the organizer did a torcher test of the T w s s / Mother’s / Meguiars their new ceramic wax . Turtle 🐢 destroyed them !
Hey man the new turtle 🐢 wax seal n shine vs meguiars fast finish be interesting!
In Canada, the Seal and Shine states it's infused with SIO2. Still has the Brut smell though...
Interesting.
@@autodetailingpodcast Pan the Organizer stated just that in his video. Has TW re-formulated this to include SIO2? I think I need an answer.
Very interesting video as usual Jimbo ! If you can start comparing Tac systems Moonlight vs other stuff, would be really cool ! Take care bro !
Jimmy Emond , I agree would like to see a tac systems moonlight test!
Make sure you use anti-ice salt. The salt that gets on cars isn’t just sodium chloride. Although that’s a good a test for parking near the ocean.
Instead of the control section, try the seal n shine with the ice spray wax as a topper and test the difference!
👍🏻
I'm like a die-hard Meguiars fan and user for a long time. I've seen multiple videos comparing seal n shine to everything else and it always kills everything else. Meguiars needs to take note that Turtle Wax is kind of leaving them behind.
Ok nice job in the videos. The real
Question to me is what products do you use on you personal vehicles..?
TURTLE WAX ICE SPRAY WAX ALL THE WAY !!
nickyscarfo1 YES! I love it, use it after every wash.
But which one is better?
Lucc 701 Seal N Shine actually. Lol
Great water sheeting effects!
Great review! Thanks for helping us out! Keep up the great work man!
These 2 are definitely "hidden" gems
For sure
The shitty thing is products like this are labeled as "DIYer" or "enthusiast" products, whatever that means, when they're clearly good quality. It's durability reminds me of power lock
clay if needed follow with cleaner wax or aio after a few days use seal and shine after a wash , i did this and my car looks very wet the aio i used was dura gloss 101
Nice!
Hey Jimbo, with all these spray coatings out there you could do a test on which one has best, if any; gloss improvement. Start with stripped panel take measurements with your new gyzmo you got spray sections down and retake measurements
Thanks you, I will buy Seal and Shine
