Recipe:
1 cup coconut oil
1 cup honey
1Tablespoon per 1 cup matcha powder
*essential oils at your discretion
mix well, store in sealed container at room temp up to 6 months

Rachel, this scrub has beat my 40 year off and on battle with acne, cleared my skin of any blemishes and I have only had maybe one or two spots appear since using it to which they're gone in about a day or so. Looks great! I did gift baskets with homemade beauty items one year for my girlfriends. My favorite thing to make is a peppermint foot scrub. BTW you can find little packets of Matcha powder at Walmart with their other other "health food" items that's near the gluten free foods.

Matcha is full of antioxidants and wonderful for anti inflammatory needs, helps with rashes, eczema and achne
@@1870s I use CeraVe and have tried some other product with elemi and cedar but made me break out but if I could make my own and not break out would be fantastic .

I'm in the process of making several of these! I've got the bath salts and sand scrub finished. Tomorrow I'm making the honey, matcha face wash. I have a question though. The recipe says 1 tablespoon of matcha per cup. Could you clarify for me, is that per cup of the whole mixture or power cup of oil? So if I use one cup of oil and one cup of honey do I use one or two tablespoons of matcha? Thanks so much!

Why would it only last for 6 mo at room temp? There isn’t any water in it. The honey is itself a preservative and if you are still worried about spoilage you could add vitamin E which is good for the skin and also a preservative.
