Fanfic writers get on it, I want the story of a scrappy goblin uncovering the plot of the phyrexians and uniting the brothers against a common foe. Although thinking about it having two asshole artificers running around Dominaria might have been worse in the long run.

If Phil had gotten the Chasm, would have been a very different story. Chasm prevents all damage so wouldn't save from the Mishra, but could have done everything else without worry. Also would have been worth paying for a turn or two for the free turns to try and fight back. Sadness.

Did Crim have two red mana open? You need two red mana to unearth the dragon engine. Also I think Phil just does this for fun and not necessarily to win, it's just an added bonus if he does.

Opponents having removal wouldn't have saved Seth from being attacked, he had plenty of stuff to just replay it. Crim had plenty of removal in his deck.
I feel like Seth is taking the wrong thing out of the game with his wrap up. Gix's pseudo-Eadric isn't the thing that drew the agro. It's his activated ability. Free cards off the top is basically always archenemy worthy. That it's taking *your opponents* cards off the top also adds salt.
In regards to Phil's question about Mastermind's Acquisition, before exile became a zone the old wishes actually worked that way, outside the game meant sideboard or exile in competitive play.

That's why he activated the Golgothian Sylex afterwards, to cover the tracks and get rid of the evidence.
Crim could have got the dragon engine with the forgemaster instead and sacrificed it to the ironworks and unearthed it with haste , meld and than -1/-1 all of tomers thopters and the sardian avenger would have killed tomer.

Masterminds can't get a card in exile, compare to Karn. Outside the game doesn't include exile, exile is a game zone. That wasn't always the case.
Exile was always a game zone, it started back in 2010.
Seth shouldn't have gotten rid of the exsanguinate there would have helped with health problems.
