      I feel like a heat gun definitly helps. Tried tinting windows but it was windy and i dont have a garage so i got that shit messed up. I still got some tint left so ima try this since i just got my windows done with ceramic tint

    Followed your video. Brilliant for a newbie. The only mistake i made whilst doing it was not heating the film enough. The minute the film was heated it became nice and stretchy all became soo easy. Thanks!

    I'm doing a friend's car soon, hopefully it'll go as smooth as this. I tinted glass years ago and I didn't useheat. Just soapy water & a squeegee.
    Why was there was no heat applied to the bottom right corner, anchor point. Also that's a lot of heat.

    Larry you picked the Ace to do your install both wraps looked Great. Perfect example why to choose wrapping a car over painting a car. You change the look fast and much cheaper than switching vehicles or paint which is near permanent. Great video fellas

    so the tint i bought says that it needs to be applied with water. i did an attempt but i couldn't squeeze all of the water out so i was left with water/air bubbles and adding heat only ended up making creases. should i try without water next time?

    It’s funny how easy the expensive car has the easiest shape to tint lol I just did my headlights and tail light in VViViD Air Release (light smoke front and dark black in rear) and being my first time I screwed up a bit and ordered another few rolls but I expected as much and learned what / what not to do for the next try but I bet the tail lights on my Dodge Avenger would even be a challenge for CK ! New rolls come in tomorrow and maybe I’ll do a vid , it’ll be called 2 hour light tinting for dummies by dummies lol

      You can buy a cheap heat gun for usually less than a hair dryer. I'd opt for the heat gun.

    In case I missed it.. ( Great job BTW and THANK YOU!! :) ~ As far as the 'Protective film' side (on top of the exterior gloss), Do you remove this during install or after? I realize it probably won't stretch during install, but then what's the purpose? ( Silly Q probably.. I only ask as the felt squeegee seems like it would scratch up some of the more Very high-gloss films for tail lights).Thanks again! Cheers!!

      It depends on the cap, some stretch and some don't. The ones that don't stretch are meant to protect the film during shipping and transport from scuffing. The other cap is meant to be installed with the film which prevent swirl marks.

      Oscar Lopez be patient and use a heat gun/hair dryer to help loosen up the tint. Just cut a lil extra to remove the tint don’t wanna get your fingers under the glue where your actual headlight is

    I'm looking for a good brand of tint I can source to the UK. So far not had much luck. It's either cheap ebay stuff, Vivid don't ship to UK or random expensive films that have no reviews. Can anyone help? Currently looking at APA America for film.

      depends on how dark the tint is. if it's just a light tint it won't affect it much but the darker tints can really make it a lot dimmer. hence why it's illegal in many places
