Great video, thanks for sharing. Love the union springs flagpole knob trails. Took my KL from Switzer lake to flagpole knob and then back down 85a. it's not a trailhawk so didn't press it. Good to see the trailhawk battling the couple little rock segments on Union Springs trail. Those little buggers are more capable than people give them credit for. Then i took the tj next trip and did union springs as well as the lake side trails.
So much fun down there. We didn't have time to go down to Switzer Lake like we planned, had to high tail it to Canaan to make camp before dark. Next time though!
Nice! We were planning on taking the road down to Switzer when we were there. Didn’t see any signs at that time in August. We were outta time tho and had to get off the mountain 😅
Try driving from flagpole round after dusk in the fog gdown union springs rd. I did that this past September. Yook me 2 hours to make it down the mountain driving in my Colorado zr2. The double locking differential button came in handy that night.
@@azfersaeed1602 wow this comment was a while ago. believe it or not, I actually blew up the rear differential, not sheared splines in the hub lol (wasn’t sure at the time). Honestly it’s not a hard trail, I think the combination of the already blown CV and some extra throttle to get over the obstacles with 3 wheel drive did it
@@theycallmejim9643 daaang, blowing a differential is no joke. How did you get home? I've done the trail a few years ago so I am familiar with it which is why I am surprised you sustained that kind of damage. Was your CV not working even before and you still went?
@@azfersaeed1602 we were with a small group, took a few hours to winch it to flagpole and grab a uhaul to get it home. Boot tore on the CV at the beginning of the trail and the joint separated
Ran union spring trail, through stone camp out by flagpole knob on the duel sport recently. I live there, so always running the trails in jeep or on bike. Long run, Second mtn, Gauley ridge trail etc are all open again too. to give youll a heads up. Ran all of it recently to in the jeep. Great video & glad youll enjoyed it.
Haha Tyler just replaced his sh!tbox TJ with it less than a year ago so he’s still treating it like his daily. Would rather spend cash on a lift soon than repairs 😉
If you want people to hear and see talk have a talk show I can't stand people driving down the road staring at their camer and not paying attention to the road.
That drone shot at about 55:20 … it was breathtaking. Thank you for sharing your experience. Great video!
You should see the drone shots I got on my latest Union Springs video this year! So many great views in that area. 😍
Great video- was just there at the end of July. Actually stayed in that same camp site right after reddish knob! Was a great site
THat's awesome. Looked like a great site!

Oh man I can’t wait to get my bronco out there. It loves rock crawls like this.
It’s an amazing area. I’d love to see a Bronco on it!
The small spot you pulled into for one, stayed there in June when we ran that trail. It’s a great trail
Looked like a decent spot for sure!
Love Union springs, excited for them to reopen flagpole knob. Doing both is a nice loop
Gotta show you how taco handles that
Just did Union Springs to Flagpole Knob this past weekend. Planned to come down to Switzer lake but that road was closed. Great video.

@@harolddenton6031 that sounds awesome!
Really like seeing different terrain that over in here in Colorado. Seems like a beautiful place to do some wheeling. Keep up the good work.
Thanks! I’m continuing to stockpile knowledge of these east coast gems bit by bit 🙂
We did union springs last weekend! Ended up snapping an axle and shearing the splines on one of the rear hubs in my WK2 on 34’s
That sounds wild! lol
How??? Did you hit something hard? Did you intentionally take a steep angle or something?

Congrats on your newborn sir, and great video
Thanks Justin!

@@Hypure2wheels awesome!
Congratulations on the little one! If you’re ever passing through the capital district, hit me up, know a few trails in the area 🫡
Thanks!
What exhaust are you using?
I have the AWE trail edition cat back 🤌
My 15 Trailhawk looks exactly like Tylers minus the red Pin Stripe!...Is his stock? If so great to see what its capable of!!!
His is stock still. Just has a set of A/T tires on 🤘
Trailhawk needs some Rock sliders off-road bumper
You babied that Cherokee too much. Let that thing wheel. I'm thinking it is more capable than you guys give it credit for.

I know Flag pole knob used to be a Jeep badge of honor trail , but i dont think it is anymore , is it ?🤷🏻♂️
Currently not a BoH. Just a fun trail with great views! Felt a lot like Peter’s Mill Run
you might be thinking of Peter's Mill Run. Also in GWNF, but closer to Edinboro
I wonder if my 85 k5 Blazer will make it🧐
It’s not a terribly difficult trail, a little high clearance makes it easier. I’d say probably 😅
yoooooo where is that camp site!?
Do you have a gpx file for your route you took ?
I know where that steak came from, brown paper and a thin sheet on clear plastic
