It’s a small world! We were just wheeling through the same real estate October 5-12. Beautiful part of the country. Gorgeous mountain views and lots to explore. We’ll have to go back for a return visit. Great video, by the way!

Great video. For me when I watch videos like these I'm most interested in where exactly you are so I can evaluate the difficulty and whether or not my rig can handle it. I'm almost 12 minutes in and I have no idea where you are except for the state of Virginia 😂.

The first area is near Amherst/Buena Vista. It’s called Robinson Gap rd which is a forest service road right off of rt60 and the BRP. The concrete underpass they go through is under the BRP. There are several places to camp and not unless you are driving an EarthRoamer you should be fine.
I think the first comment. We were surprised to meet you guys at Overland East. Looks like you scored some good camping spots. We have explored around the reservoir. I would add about the trails here in the east, pulling a trailer or not, you also need to be prepared to back up and sometimes quite a distance. Backing up is of course slower and more of a challenge with a trailer.
You are exactly right. We have backed up several times in the past.
