Wait I think I missed something did you go from Jeep to Bronco?? And if you did how Is that going ??? Thanks for all the great videos
I have been subscribed to your channel for a while mow, and the one fact I can't get over is how "cinematic" your videos feel. Your editing and videos feel like I am watching a movie about the places you visit. I watch a lot of off road channels and I don't think ANY of them have the feel of your videos. Keep up the great work and stay EPIC!
Thank you!
The quality of the videos is at the top of the game. The scenery is almost always amazing world class views. Too bad about the quality of the driving!! 😂 respect from Alberta
The voice over gets me, brilliant, could listen all day
@livingthevanlife has killer cinematic videos too, love watching him as well.
We may have very similar thumbnails 😅 Good times, glad we’re alive!
The best times! :D
@@TheStoryTillNowY’all are some crazy cats.
You guys just keep pushing the envelope Shaun , I was at the edge of my seat watching this episode. God be with you Shaun .
I love watching TJs hang with newer 4x4s. Another great video Sean
thinking the samething too, as it's the lowest power Jeep..
it's nice too see the TJ
My pops in Law uses a TJ as his Moab trail rig. Does great. Fun to drive.
That was an LJ. Lol...😀
@@JEEP-N-DIRT I stand corrected though my point still holds
Thanks for the LJ love.
I love seeing the TJ in this group. They are easy to do a mild build on and extremely capable. Most Problems and issues are known and have well engineered solutions.
LJ so even better 😃👍🏻
Thanks for the LJ love. Lots more to come
TJs are my favorite of all the Wranglers (possible exception would be an old school Scrambler... but that's not technically a Wrangler, so probably doesn't count).
Anyway... I think the TJ takes the cake. First gen of the coil springs on all four corners, they're super easy to work on, parts and aftermarket upgrades are plentiful and cheap. It doesn't take much to build an incredibly good off-roader for super cheap. A 3" to 6" lift, lockers, and 33" to 35" M/T tires, and you're good to go over most anything out there. No, it's not going to be competing against purpose-built crazy expensive rock crawling rear-steer buggies, but it'll be a daily driver you can wheel in all but the most extreme of what mother nature has to offer up!
Thank you for all you do.
I am older then you, but my family and I got our first Jeep a year ago. We are out adventuring as much as possible. Thank you for helping me give the outdoors to my wife and kids.
(I just bought a hat off website)
Thank you.
That LJ makes my heart go pitter patter.
I got off the edge of a trail on a shelf road much like that one a couple of years back. We were lucky to not have rolled our Jeep. Took about an hour, lots of patience, and help from 2 other Jeeps with winches to get back onto the trail. Always appreciate your content.
I bet that seat had memory foam seats after that..
WOW! What an adventure.. Thanks Shaun. That old cabin on the lake was very cool
those ljs are such a great value keeping up with 60k rigs
Thanks. She’s a good LJ
WOW! What an adventure.. Thanks Shaun.
Glad you didn't tumble down the hill, looks like you were bloody close! That little log cabin at the end is beyond cool.😍
WOOOOOOOW! That alpine ridge is crazy, stunning, breathtaking, chilling and absolutely beautiful! Thanks for taking us along for the adventure!
I'd take a mountain bike on that, but not a jeep.
❤👍 Thanks For The Ride !!
Is there anything you can do to that Bronco to get more flex out of it. That was terrifying just watching. But those are some of the most incredible trails and views I've ever seen
I would love to see a video with all of your wildlife encounters on your trips, especially with all of your remote campsites! Love the video's, nothing like them out there!
Mall crawler lifts and tires with top heavy tents...what do you expect
I was waiting for a video in these tires!! I wanted to get a set but with so little information I decided to get the ridge grapplers
I’m an underground diamond core driller. Live in Utah and have drilled in Utah, Nevada and Alaska. Love your show and the adventures🤙🏻
Epic scenery, amazing drone footage, edge of my seat excitement, perfect sound track and great editing…well done! That ridge-line to the top put butterflies in my stomach and those angles on those slippery wet rocks, whew! You guys gotta have some big cahones to do that! You all have a new subscriber here!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nothing beats solid axles when it comes to flexing. I own many offroad builds from a 09 h3t alpha hummer truck a 07 yota fj cruiser, a 06 jeep commander, a 07 land rover lr3 , a 05 jeep wrangler unlimited rubicon, the one I take off road the most is the 05 jeep wrangler unlimited rubicon I built it up with old school lift I bought new 6inch long arm by full traction not sure if you can still get it if yes it probably take months to get it along with Hanson rear bumper and basket package, front arb bull bumper warn 9.0rc winch 2 speed advance adapter transfer case, rock hard roll cage , dual battery by odyssey, g2 front new axle geared to 488 and rear to 488 with arb air lockers , sitting on Mickey Thompson mtz 35x12.50x18 , solar panel on hood to keep batteries top off, Galvin wilderness rack with arb rooftop tent , I installed a sprintex supercharger to my 4.0 my build something from mid 2000 I love it because she not what most people drive today old school no bells no whistle last of the all metal jeep she is heavy curb weight 3740 gross weight 4600 I went to a cat scale I'm 5800 before adding more gear for overlanding that's 1200 over , nobody on any channel talks about how weight effects gas mileage to being safe on the road or trails or what might happen being too heavy I have more on my jeep than what I mentioned like warn gas tank skid plate arb awning, hi lift jack, front runner dual drawers , brake kit on front axle , lmy gas mileage is terrible but she a beast off road , I bought the rare h3t alpha hummer truck over a jeep gladiator because I didn't want a 80k jeep means jeep price plus build price , the h3t has very little to nothing to build on no accessories it died years ago but this doesn't mean you can't build a nice build in the bed area, I ordered a road armor bed rack and bought brackets off Amazon it worked perfectly why road armor bed rack the adjustable rack works perfectly but it was made for the gladiator, decked drawer system didn't work , but front runner dual drawers did with room to spare and on top of that I installed a front runner cargo slide so I don't have to crawl in bed, oh yeah other reason for road armor rack spare tire can mount on rack , from here the usual gear you see on a rack driver side 4 max tracks, driver side 4 water rotopax I felt water very important offroad , I added a front runner roof rack to bed rack with arb rooftop tent and awning , and hi lift jack , on cab another front runner rack with 23 zero shower room , pelican storage box , 10 gallon waterport these are real nice , Hella 4 offroad lights , front bumper arb bull bumper warn winch , sitting on 34inch tires I just installed a snorkel, and head lights led, I plan to install headers to the 5.3 v8 not much more I can do without really modification to front axle without replacing it with a solid axle this is the only thing that socks no lift kit available, even tho hummer h3t built off Chevrolet Colorado suspension but still different, but I am happy with what I bought not to be a cookie cutter build , nobody needs all the things we but from 40inch tires to 4k rooftop tents to go overlanding I think I still came out far cheaper than a gladiator build only speaking of myself but when it comes to flexing jeep owns it maybe next time I talk about my yota build or lr3 the lr3 turns just like a wrangler the hummer and yota turns like a vette terrible anyway c u on the trail
Im old enough to remember when you had 60k subscribers. Congratulations on the massive growth in the last few yrs.
Wonderful video Shaun! There is a bit of "Butt Pinch" at 20:23!!!! Love your channel and the quality you bring to TH-cam. Thanks!! Visited the merch store and didn't get away with out spending!
Awesome Video, Thanks again for showing us these incredible places. Got my merch Monday morning. thanks for putting those out.
1:56 the face expression says it all
Those shelf roads were no joke. I puckered a bit, all the way over here in VA.
Yeah three wheeling ain’t the best feeling but hey you didnt die! Just got a sweatshirt and Im pumped, happy to support
Thanks so much!
Bruce is a legend, proud to say my grandparents lived down the street from his.
👊🏻🍻🍻
Keep safe, I'm glad you are rolling deep with a crew.
Keep that bronco footage coming!!👍🏻
That ridge line would be awesome in the winter with snow covering everything!
the production value is amazing. and is constant week after week.
The pucker factor was high 😮
I’m paralyzed and still puckered 🤣
I have to wait till I finish my truck build but I would love the opportunity to go wheeling with you guys. Your adventures are exactly what I had in mind when planning my build.
Just a quick description of my build, 93 Chevy Silverado single cab short box, F350 solid axle swap (e locker rear) WFO conversion kit, which translates into a 7" lift on 37's, LS+ swap. I consider it to be kind of a baseline until the build grows but I promise it will be quite capable as is.
I look forward to following your adventures through the winter as I get my truck sorted out.
If I had a "dream ride".. this is where I would go. Simply beautiful.
Someone commented below that this isn't real overlanding. I agree that the definition of overlanding from when it originally came on the scene is different but for me overlanding, weekend warrior, jeep camping, jeep exploring, it's all part of the adventure, and when a day of exploring takes you to an epic place like this who cares what it's called. I've commented a dozen times on your videos. AWESOME everything period!!! Oh, and your buddy with hand control JK is also very inspiring. I recall him from one of your past videos. Talk about not letting anything hold you back. Seriously, as epic as your videos are, you should do a feature about him and his travels. Recall that CHP in Cali that commented on how your inspired him on while he was in a hospital bed. Take that inspiration to another level. Great work once again buddy. God Bless you and your family.
Thanks! People get caught up in terminology. Call it whatever you want. I don't even like the term overlanding. If I use it in a title, it's just because it's a good search term.
Awesome video! So exciting to watch and the drone shots are amazing 👏
I really enjoyed the vibe of this video. Always glad to see some bronco content. Thanks Shaun.
Had me on the edge of my seat a couple of times. Beautiful cinematography and music. What an amazing adventure. Makes me want to watch more of your fantastic work. Well done!!!
Time to bring a small mini Grader on the adventures for roads like this!
The bronco would be better if it wasn't IFS.
Another amazing place that you have taken us, thanks
drone out at level angle did a really good job at showing incline (I think lol). Looked like steady hover shot... nice!
That looked so dangerous, especially for the bronco
this was a scary moment but no reactions or intense music made for kind of an underwhelming edit imo.. amazing scenery and quality video as always
So glad you’re all ok
As a teenager I fall in love with this off road adventure, right now i I can't afford it but I'm willing to achieve this and hope this journey goes well
Love the new logo stuff!! And whoa on that shelf road!
What a stellar video! ❤️ the moodiness of the rain / fog is just absolutely unreal. Your filming and editing skills are unbeatable; Hollywood would hire you in half a heartbeat!! Thank you Shaun for the lovely content and amazing adventures 🥹🫶🏻❤ absolutely adore you!!
That shelf road was right up there with the cobbled together wood "bridge" you guys once went over. Spooky!
This is another master piece, the ways you show up the angels and create actual tension for the viewer is nuts! The crew you run with as also really improved in quality really enjoying the stuff you guys are putting out
Got the wife's Bronco out on this one, eh? Crazy trip, glad no one got hurt!
Bronco almost tipped?? Lol. Of course it did. Great vid sir
Loved it Shaun, as always. Fantastic scenery and cinematography.
I had seen your post on Instagram but yikes this was sketch AF. Glad you're still with us. Outstanding work as usual, the mood on this one is different with the clouds and rain, but still epic as far as I'm concerned. The view from above the clouds was something for sure. ✌
Start off with a ferry ride. Lol! Only after a 6 hour drive to the needles ferry after passing my little home town of lumby 😆
Some good wheeling all around you. Love that area
I get so much anxiety watching you guys. In the end its worth it to see such beautiful areas y'all find. Keep up the great work! and thank you for sharing y'alls passion
Another super great video. Beautiful alpine scenery. I'd love see some turn around video's on some of those crazy challenging shelf style rds you do ..👍😎
It’s will probably be in mine. I usually let them run really long
As always, solid drive.
Another incredible adventure!! Can we please get a shirt or sticker with the pickle quote???
While I love the alpine, there us something erie about wheeling in fog. Been through a few forest fire burns in heavy fog and our skin was crawling...
Honestly great story telling here with amazing scenery! That incline was very tense, no room for error!
Awesome video as always TSTN. That was a crazy trail glad y'all made it back okay. It's always interesting to find pieces of lost history in the middle of nowhere.
Another awesome video, the cinematography, drone footage of the scenery and the vehicles was brilliant. Cheers
Shaun is the bravest offroader I know. After you did that shelf road backwards i realized you are the GOAT. Period.
I wish I could go with you. looks like fun !!
I was in full pucker just watching! 🤯
👏👏👏👏KUDOS TO YOU ALL, THIS WAS INTENSE & EPIC💯👍Pretty darn close to the edge😮😳🫣😵💫glad you all made out safe 🤍👍😊
Your Bronko is much like a male dog....gotta lift it's leg and take a piss on every obstacle.😅 FANTASTIC EPISODE AGAIN !! Without a doubt the BEST videos on the Tubes.... CHEERS AND SAFE TRAVELS Steve h.
Epic ridge Sean!
Another amazing video! I’ve been slacking watching your videos! Need to get caught back up! Keep them coming!
Glad you like them!
Awesome video.👍 You guys have the most amazing trails!!
Can't wait for some winter wheeling :D
Same. Going to be epic this year
Me too!!!!
Absolutely loved this video, you guys camped at one of my favorite lakes right at the end. (You aired up 3km from my uncles house, that's my home town.) We were out there maybe a month before you, did hailstorm ridge and went to the same mine. So cool seeing a vid of you guys playing in my family's stomping ground!
the speed in which i ordered a hoodie was way faster then your ever go.
Great ep guys. The ridge track was amazing. Wish I was there. And the shelf road had me tightening a few muscles with you.
I used to run Firestone Firehawk RTs (2 sets) on my HiLux (Aussie Tacoma) and they were awesome all-rounders with great mileage and grip. Unfortunately they didn't make them in the size of my next 4x4 and we parted ways.
Watching from Scotland UK You guys are so lucky with the choice of adventure trail! Love the channel
Epic ride! Glad you guys made it out safe. Toyo gave me a set too. Can’t wait to try them out.
That was intense! Feeling that terrific trail htrough the screen ;) Glad all went well
Absolute quality vid guys. Great filming, editing and soundtrack. A proper 4wd adventure!
Amazing footage and incredible sound.😉👍
Hey bro found your channel some two days ago and just needed to appreciate how good you are at making the videos. I’m from Kashmir(India) and have been away from a while, saying this to let you know your videos make me feel home. Would love to have you guys over here. ✌️
I’ve been riding those R/T Trails for a couple months now, and I’m digging them for sure! Ran great on a recent trip through Colorado, on and off the pavement. Hope they hold up well for you; great content as always!
love to join you guys one day...
Dope video, especially the end with the cabin sir
Appreciate it
You guys have amazing camera work. Nicely done!
Love the videos. Thanks for bringing us along. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Yikes 😮. That road was scary! Glad you’re safe. Can’t believe you guys wanted to go there! Now you need foggers for the Bronco!😊.
This channel is extremely underrated. The cinematography is utterly captivating; NatGeo, eat your heart out. Keep up the good work, fellas. Love the content and love seeing Jeeps on the trail.
geeze, that shelf road edge is wild !!! Amazing video
Yeah it was not comfortable haha
Enjoyed the virtual ride along!
Pulling the rear tire is a classic trait of an independent front suspension. Several people have rolled on Black Bear pass in Colorado because of that.
Nice shoots!! You have marvelous places for 4x4 greetings from Poland
Yikes, glad you guys made it off that shelf road. That was nuts
Love the videos. I’m amazing at how experienced wheelers still want to cling to the uphill side of a shelf road when there is ample room to the down hill side that would result in near level travel. Most of the rolls on Black Bear Pass are caused by people hugging the uphill side, causing their rig to roll towards the downhill. Like the hill at 16:50. If he’d been in the lower rut on the passenger side it would have been much safer.
In person is a lot different than in person. The lower rut was loose dirt, you could tell it was recently shoveled. Ground above was solid with a back up of sliding into the rut.
What Bruce said. There’s a reason we all took that line
you made me smile Shaun.....when you had that big grin on top of that ridge!
Wow,the stress this video caused me to have a neck ache, but left me speechless😂😂
Whatever happens do not stop uploading. These are amazing
Entertaining storytelling once again. Thank you for sharing it.
