@@benjaminpikoikj7090 well to begin with I have to say this girl was interested in me well before we started talking and we work with each other. She is the one who approached me, So there was already high interest from the start.
I am naturally stoic and things like showing little emotion and strong mental stability are my thing. I had known this girl liked me and thought she was cute but I didn't have too much interest in her. This is why I didn't approach her and why it was pretty easy for me to show low interest towards her from the start.
At first we just talked to each other randomly, as time went on she started talking to me regularly. Eventually I started to put a little more effort into her and quickly I noticed her interest began to drop. I decided to look up how to regain interest when a girl pulls away and went down the rabbit hole and eventually found this channel.
The thing that kinda turned things around was one day she was just having a bad day and I was listening to her complaints but she started getting mean towards me for no reason. I didn't get emotional and didn't let it bother me. I told her to not use me as her punching bag or I'll stop talking to her. standing up for myself just a little bit completely changed her attitude and she began to be very flirty after this.
After this worked out for me I decided to try some other methods. By this point we had already been talking for about two months. First I started texting her way less. I stopped starting conversations with her over text. I stopped complimenting her. I stopped giving her any fake validation. Before this I gave her those things and she just acted like it didn't matter. After I stopped she literally started begging me to start the text conversation and to compliment her. I told her I'll compliment her when I feel like I should not when she asks for it.
Something that I somewhat unintentionally do is upset her very frequently. Maybe this is just because she is more interested in me but it seems like I make her mad about something every few days. You would imagine this would make things worse but no she forgives me within hours and gets even more flirty afterwards.
Also at some point I got comfortable enough with her that I just constantly poke fun at her and talk about nonsense and even though she complains about it she enjoys it.
And the big scary thing I tried on her was when she eventually did ask me to come to her place to have sex I told her no. Mind you she asked this without me ever suggesting it before. I told her that I don't think I should until I like her more. Which is honestly true not really a test. She was understanding at first then predictably got pissed at me and threatened to not talk to me anymore. After talking about it a little bit and about 24 hours later she was giving me permission to grope her at work and inviting me to come over every few days to just "hang out". She even sent suggestive pictures for the first time yesterday. I didn't even ask for them.
The thing that sucks is I keep messing up and it seems like she likes me more after. I do things that piss her off or even make her cry and she forgives me so fast. I don't do this intentionally but when someone likes you a lot and you are kinda indifferent about it it hurts them easily. I do want this girl to be happy and although I'm testing things on her I'm not playing with her. I could have easily taken advantage of her by now with her full permission to do so but I'm trying my best not to do anything like that. She would willingly give me full power over her and I find that frightening so I only do things that she wants and asks for herself.
But yeah idk that was more of a story than examples. Id say be mentally stable because they will constantly try to get you to break. Be somewhat indifferent but not like completely. Don't easily give in to temptation like lust this hurts you just as much as she dislikes it. And just like have fun talk to her like you don't care if you get in her pants or not. Honestly just don't care if you get in her pants or not. Caring about the outcome makes it harder to get there.

I always feel like I should go easier on them in regard to the ''pulling back'' part, as they already know I am with another woman anyway and I don't want them to think that they're merely a hoe of mine (even if they would be), as this could initiate a sentiment in her that it'd be okay for her to date other men as well. I obviously want my side-chicks to be fiercely loyal to me -- and they are.

I distanced myself reducing communication with a girl who I believed was somewhat attracted to me. And what happened was, she then pulled back as well. And it's like we are both trying to show each other that we aren't into each other. When I say pulled back, I see her less and sent like half as many messages as before.
I also found pulling back made me want to see her more. Before we joked a lot and showed extra interest in seeing each other. Now we both pulled back and she still acts like she's interested but also trying to 'punish' me because I pulled back.

She'll come around. So many variables unknown. Maybe you're doing something else wrong. Maybe she's dating 2 other guys. That all said, sometimes a pullback isn't necessary and confuses women that never deserved it. If you go from one extreme of texting all day to nothing it's going to be weird absolutely. It shouldn't look to her that you've dropped off the planet all of a sudden, just steady reduced frequency etc. Maybe text her less, then call her for example and lock in a date. If she asks what's been happening you play it cool etc. Have a good hangout. Repeat.
