How to Eat Sesame Seeds Daily

  • This video shows the best way to include sesame seeds in your daily diet and the benefits of regularly eating sesame seeds. Sesame butter, tahini, sesame granola, and sesame seeds milk & vegan yogurt are the recipes shown in this video. Sesame seeds are highly recommendable for you if you have dairy and nut allergy. Sesame butter is an excellent alternative to nut butter and can use in baking cookies, granola, and in place of nut butter. Regular intake of sesame seeds may provide many health, skin, and hair benefits. Like other seeds, nuts, and legumes, sesame seeds also contain some antinutrients, phytates, which inhibit the absorption of these nutrients, which can be minimized by sprouting, soaking and roasting of sesame seeds.

    Ingredients for sesame butter:
    Sesame seeds- 1/2 cup
    Extra virgin olive oil- 2 tbsp
    Water- 1/4 cup
    Ingredients for Tahini-
    Garlic- 1 medium clove
    Lemon juice- 1 tbsp
    Sesame butter- 1/4 cup
    Ingredients for No grain granola-
    Brown sesame seeds-1/4 cup
    Black sesame seeds-1/4 cup
    Jaggery-1/2 cup
    Ghee/clarified butter- 1tsp
    Pumpkin seeds-3tbsp
    Water- 2tbsp
    Dried cranberries/ raisins- 1/4 cup

      Start with 1 tbsp daily..as that will be the new thing for her. Later you can increase maximum amount will be 2-3 spoon/ for this age..

      Yes ofcourse you can but as I mentioned in video for the maximum health benefits soaking, and roasting is the best. You can soak the seeds for few hours then blend directly in your smoothies..

      Soak for a minimum of 4 hours.
      Roast over slow heat for 15 to 20 minutes. Thanks

      Yes, I always store in it an airtight container in refrigerator. On room temperature it will get separated and taste little bitter. For preserving the freshness and taste refrigeration is the best way..
