They sell anti diarrhea medicine in a box at pet stores. I had to get it cause my cat's long haired and if she gets diarrhea it's usually for 3 days so she's walking around sitting down making a mess in following her with paper towels simple green and best thing is to let ur cat sleep in the travel cat box if u got a plastic 1 put blankets and towels in there obviously and just update them daily.
Ugh my cat goes mental like I’m killing him, when in fact all I’ve done is lift his tail. He’s going crazy like I’m killing him, that makes my older female cat get stressed out and tries to get to the one screaming because she thinks he’s trying to attack me. It’s insane. Meanwhile my little man is walking around smelling like a pile of shit....because he’s got globs in his behind he refuses to clean...oh except when he uses the carpet to try and scoot it off 😡😡 help 🤷🏼♀️😫😫
Dude my cats the same way. He has it like.. quite literally stuck to his butthole. I’ve tried the warm water and paper towel thing but I’m worried about what shampoo. I don’t even know what to do at this point my cat has me so worried because it nearly looks closed off
queencerxei I went to the store and bought the spray oil...I think it was canola oil , or coconut oil, and I just kept spraying the back of him every time he got near me until the oil soaked it...and by the next day it had broken up and came off. Thatnwas the best way it worked out for me because he wouldn’t let me near it and I was about to call the vet to get him in.
Just soak it with some oil and it’ll break up. I tried associating with gloves when I could once it was soaked. Thank goodness it worked tho.
You guys must have long haired cats because mine is short haired and never had this problem. His but is sparkly clean

Our senior lady has issues grooming (arthritis) and she currently is recovering from severer illness. Turns out she had kidney failure level 2 and an infection. She is still recovering and is too weak to really take care of herself. This helpful and funny! Thank you for the slight joy it gave us in this challenging time.

I'm house sitting at friend of a friends. The owners have a white long haired cat. It is getting picked up for a modeling job tomorrow morning. It also has a huge shit dread hanging off it's ass. There are skid marks on the parquet floor. There is no "grooming table". I was left with no instructions other than how to feed it. I'm a dog person.
But at least I got to see this video :)
Honestly take ur cat in the bathroom, but any water ur going to use have it already in a container cause the noise scares them, but close them in if u don't got the grooming table. Putting a cat in the bathtub with a few inches of water is great when their feet get why they got no tracktion to run away but u should hold ur cat by the front chest to hold it. Use a cup, basin with warm water in it already in it, cat shampoo and just don't turn the water on while the cat's in the it'll freak out. Enjoy

I don’t have that contraption, but I was so determined to clean my cats that they actually weren’t too upset about it! I also didn’t use a hair dryer...just some dry paper towels. I have a 16 yr old cat and she always has stuff on her back side, I cover her head with a towel and put her on the table using a wet cloth and gently clean, but I was using dish soap in a tub/bowl of warm water and you mentioned not to use certain types will keep that on mind, thanks.

I dont if it is just my cat or it applies to every cat but I hold my cat in baby position (his back to my chest and my arm under his front legs) and gentle wipe him...I start from tail to upwards ..same method as the video just..lukewarm water with cat shampoo water in one bowl and plain water in another. Till date he hasn't scraped me or bit me.
