You just eyeballing and cutting the binding ends about gave me a stroke! My insurance is using your easy binding tool. I used this binding method on a Christmas table runner I just made & it was the absolute perfect finishing touch and gave it that elegant look. I will never do hand binding again and I will never be able to eyeball and cut!! You are a genius! Jenny, your tutorials are always enjoyable. It is wonderful to see how casually you sew and still get such accuracy. You would laugh at how carefully I pin my binding and the pains I go through to join the final binding ends - rulers, pencils, double checks, and relief when one of the pieces aren't reversed. Almost fell out of my chair when you eyeballed, cut off the end and zipped the two pieces together!

This is the most game changing technique I have ever learned in quilting!! Thank you so very much!!! I will use this on every quilt I make going forward!!! I have always done binding on my machine, but never with the flange and never with these beautiful results!! One tip I find helpful is that I use my walking foot when I sew on my binding. I find it helps feed everything through evenly. I also run the edge of the quilt through my serger before attaching the binding to stabilize the edge and trim off excess fabric and batting! Great tutorial!! Easy to follow and clear instructions!!

What a pretty binding technique! But even more awesome than that is the simple tip you gave about how to fold over binding at the corners to avoid the dreaded 'bump.' I just bound a quilt over the weekend using that tip, and not only did it turn out beautifully, I didn't have to wrestle with the corners (and often lose). So simple but so genius. A million thanks, Jenny!

I love using this tutorial! I love the finished look. My only wish was that I could see the placement better when you do the corners and connecting of the tails. Your hands obscure the process. But I'm getting the hang of it!

This is my favorite video. Even though my boys are well beyond needing baby quilts (until the stage in their lives where they need them for their babies), I love the flange binding method of attaching binding. It made me hit myself upside the head and say, "Duh, why didn't I think of that?!!" I love how Jenny and MSQC give us directions to make complicated things so easy to do!! I can't wait for my next visit to my in-laws in Missouri. I've told my mother-in-law that she and I are taking a day trip to visit the shop!! :-)

What an awesome method. I want to use this on all of my quilts. I have sewn my bindings from the back to front for years and always struggled with trying to keep my stitching uniform and straight to have an appealing look and you have given me the perfect way to finish for a really beautiful look. I see lots of ways to use it for an appealing design feature as well. Thanks so much Jenny.

Hi Jenny, you are just awesome! You are so clear in your instructions that I have finally lost my fear of making my own quilts. Unfortunately my credit card shows my enthusiasm. Received your catalogue and my friend swiped it!!!! Love you.
