2003 Hyundai Tiburon GT V6 - Cold Start, Walk Around, P0501 Engine Code Running Condition, Fly By

This video is mainly to show the P0501 engine code running condition. I’ve tried a bunch of stuff to fix the issue, but haven’t had any luck, so now I’m selling the car as is. It runs well up to 5000RPM and is in good condition. Someone buy it!

P0501 is a code for bad vehicle speed sensor. This car has two speed sensors: one in the transmission that provides (iirc) the signal for the speedo in the dash cluster, and an ABS sensor + tone ring on the passenger side, even in cars without ABS, that provides a speed reading to the ECU.
It's (very likely) the ABS sensor, sensor wiring or (perhaps) tone ring that's busted.

Thanks for the video, I'm kind of late to watch that but it was still great to see a perfect Tiburon. I have a 2003 V6 as well automatic, yeah I wish it was manual but it is like you said it's fun to ride. I'm also a 9th generation New Yorker. 👍 Woohoo!

P0501 check engine code is your VSS sensor or speed sensor. If that's the issue you need to replace it that is why its not running good because the computer is relying on information from the speed sensor.

Check the angine light.it could be the manurfer senser.he runs good.i have a 4 cil.2006.

Check the injected.for that motor light .it happen to me.now I have another one .06 .4.c.der .it is a great car.

Same code mines an 04 2.0L automatic my cable for that sensor was cut in half. Does anyone know how many sensors go on an 04? And what side? I had only 1 on the right passenger front wheel

My is a 06 an I don't know. But manurfer haves 2 .if u look it still have around .like 6. In this cars.u need to put attention m.to then.go and check then fast.iam a Tiburon lover.

Check that light .new injecters . most of the time .is that.i had a 03 Tiburon 6 c. .with that light on.boy I did trash alot of car.

Then vinyl wrap it. Not hard.
