This video was a huge help on a 2015 transit van I replaced the hub on. A bit backwards of whom ever to have to remove the hub/bearing on this vehicle to remove a rotor.
Glad I was able to help you. I spend a lot of time on my end trying to figure out part numbers, hardware, tools and techniques. Consider subscribing as I record all the transit repairs. I will be doing the front suspension and ball joints soon on this van.
The torx bolts are 1 time use. They're stretch bolts. Are they not on your vehicle? By the way. This looks like a great method. Ab;out to try now with the 50mm bolts. Thanks for the video.
I listed the part number for those bolts in the video. Ford gives you four per pack but there is 5. Almost all fords bolts are one time use. People go back and forth as to the reuse. Use your judgment.
@@gdejackmoWork perfectly with the Dorman 50mm part bolts. O'Reily's was the only autoparts store near me that had them in stock. I can not believe how easy they came off. This was after hammering and using a pry bar. This transit (250) is our daily driver and certainly needed it for Monday. Thank you again friend!!!

Just changed hub myself and this saved me a lot of headaches so thank you 😊

is this for a DRW? Looks like the single rear wheel and the DRW have different front bearings?
@@jonriver single rear wheel
What are the torque specs for the front wheel bearing to knuckle bolts and rotor to wheel bearing bolts?

I replaced a hub without removing the rotor or caliper bracket
Maybe it's a different model like the transit connect
