How do we manage to perform a perfect low serve?
The key is to relaxed in your serve, and make it as easy as possible.
The fewer movements the better, and more easy to be consistent every time.
Don't ever hit the feathers while serving, its impossible to control the placement of the serve.
Never stop practicing this shot, it can never be good enough ;-)

I had my first game last Saturday in 25 years !!!!! With Mrs and friends
I’m slowly learning, just been watching videos about the rules of the game.
I was getting confused about why we have to switch service courts but I understand it now :) the ‘SERVER’ switches service areas depending on if the score is odd or even, the opponent does not change service courts until they win the rally.
I need to improve on my serves
My reflexes are not strong YET!!
when my opponent smashes the bird at me, I duck out of the way lol
I need to try and move quickly to send the bird back. This is a regular thing now, every Saturday, we going again this Saturday:)
Good luck sir !
Nice , how are you doing now?
Yo
He is world champion we are learn from legend

good video, thank you!! badminton is so fun.
Lean forward, hold the birdie with your thumb and index, bend your Elbow back and then forward on impact, have a loose grip and use the bevel grip, avoid hitting the feathers and point in the direction you want to hit to.
Thanks for your response
This is really going to help my short sherve, which I am not always confident of. At the moment I am really working on keeping it consistent :) Thanks for the video!

Your welcome👍🏻
Simple but very effective 🙏
Yes we think so as well ;-)
Superb
I like this bgm ❤
Awesome 🙌🏽😍
Thanks👌🏻
Very good badminton family
Thanks BF. Some hold the racquet with the thumb just above the V in the handle to provide more control. I hold it lightly, even with just the short thumb, palm and fingertips (but I have big hands.) I can also easily change the racquet direction without giving it away too soon as I seem to have more flex from a light but secure grip.
Isn’t the shuttle above the waist level.?
As per rule it has to be below waist.
Thank you.
Your welcome 🙏🏻
Sir you are amazing this mathod
Thanks a lot 👏🏻
👍 This video is really helpful.
Good to hear👍🏻
Very good
Make sure you also hold the racquet at the very top of the grip. It gives more flick power and keeps ur serve consistent.
Yes some people like to do this, but I think you won be as efficient on the next hit if your fingers are placed on top of the grip. I prefer to hold a neutral grip position and then be more strong for the flick ;-)
Tnx legend
Thanks a lot sir
I have my badminton match tomorrow
Good luck 👍🏻

I have a selection test tomorrow 🤞🤞
This channel video quality is very well.please i want to need backhand net smash(net kill) video
Thanks, we will cover that in your future but dont know when yet😉
Question: Low Serve Direction (MD)
When serving from the right side, I sometimes change the shuttle direction and the racket direction one second before pushing the racket forward.
This causes shuttle to go towards the forehand front corner of receiver and he is usually not prepared to return it flat so he lifts it, giving way to a smash.
My query is that international players never do this. Why? What is it that the other player does which renders this serve unnecessary?
The pros and so fast on receiving this type of shot so that's why it is not used that much. Sometimes it can be good as an variation when serving. We made a video about this technique you mention, find it on our channel 😉
Sometimes, it can deceive you opponent, but remember that you're also opening the vulnerability for a straight reply. If you're using it on Pros that has a better awareness and reflex than common people, that's not a very good idea IMHO haha.
Remember to communicate with your partner if you wanna do it tho. Sometimes our partner didnt expect us to serve into the outside. Make sure they're prepared for the possible reply
Please make a video on how to apply grip on rackets..
Yes please
From which part of badminton we should contact the birdie during serve, means upper or middle or from near the upper/ side frame?
Tricky to explain, i believe the video shows it better than words🙃
Super thumbs up, except I want to share one thing, that I like to serve with a pen-like grip, with both my index finger and thumb on the opposite sides of the wedge shaped part of the handle. Gives me reasonable grip. Do you think is acceptable and correct?
Good sereve
Nice video very helpful....can you make a flick deceptions
Yes we can👌🏻
Great video! What are some serving strategies?
Good question, we will cover this in the future👍🏻
Thank u bro.. Smash tutorial pls
Thanks💪🏻 Smash tutorial on our channel, check it out
Nice video. Thanks. I am an in between intermediate and advanced doubles club player who loves to try different shots in my game. Mostly I enjoy my game at net play, do love smash sometimes but my strength and concentration will be always in placement. Why I am explaining this is, do you have any suggestion for me in racket as I am looking for new one and also recommendation of string tension. I hope with my description would have given an overview of what type of player I am and I always look for improving my game. Looking forward to your reply.
It is so tricky to say, usually its a feeling when playing with a racket, but try the Yonex Astrox 100ZX, i okay with that racket💪🏻
pov: you’re watching this for gym class
How did you know 🥲
I’m so bad
Si
Your not wrong-
I’ve been called out
Haha
Would height of server affects serve technique (I'm 170 cm tall)?
Pls make video on tension
We should not be stopped
Plaese explain which places, we have to serve
Thanks for your time and explanation. However, how is your total experience in the Dura z strikes?
Really nice but i have switch to Astrox 88D now, love that racket💪🏻
@@BadmintonFamly Are you using the 3U or 4U version? How do they compare? The 3U version isn't available where I live.
In this serve, if I want to change direction on either of side instead of straight... ? What I have to make sure
Can you do a video for the Kevin tumble serve? :)
Yes we can but its tricky but it will come later on💪🏻
Sir
Can we put the shuttle on the racket before doing serve.
I would love to hear about how to continue AFTER this low serve. It's not obvious to me, what is the proper movement, stance, and what to look for in the opponent to be able react quickly. In singles I often find myself stranded in mid court, and late figuring out to jump forward for a drop return, or turn back for a lift return to my backhand side, etc. There must be a way, the proper stance, diagonal split step, or something that enables the best reactionto whatever the returner is doing - can you do a video on this maybe? Because if I practice just what you show in this video, I will put the serve where I need to - but unfortunately this is TOO STATIONARY a practice, so it will not help reacting to a return. Thanks, and keep up the good work, I love all these tutorials :)
Personally I think after serving you should take a low position just about where the 'T' is in the court markings (ie front and center). This allows you to cover drops to either front corner quickly. Your partner covers lifts and pushes as their position while you are serving should be with one leg on either side of the center line (I stand closer to my backhand side so I can get a cheeky overhead clear in if necessary) and about a racquet's reach behind you. Not sure if I described the positioning too well but hopefully you understand what I'm tryna say
Hi Gyula, it´s a very good question, we will cover this in the future for sure ;-) I think it is very individually, it also depends on how your feet stand when you do the serve, some prefer to have the dominant leg in front, but as you can see my feet are more in line. I prefer this so its easier for me to go down in the legs ready to attack the net or cover the flat over the head. But we will cover all aspects of this later on. Thanks, Thomas
Sir while I'm taking the position to low serve can I touch the shuttle with string
Is there any difference in fore hand grip
Sir what should be the position of the shuttel while doing side line serve
I do not take any training for badminton, please suggest me some exercises & self practice for returning smashes
Could u make a video on a legal tumble serve ? Been trying it but could never get one out. Thanks guys!
You mean like Kevin Sukamuljo?
Do you make contact with the shuttle somewhat on the side, or directly in front of your body? Would like to see another one on flick serve, and how you serve to the tram lines.
Yes correct a bit to your left, but important that your arms is in a position where you feel comfortable👍🏻 the flick serve will come in a future video. Thomas
Is it legal to have the shuttle touching the racquet strings before serving ?
Great explanation by you sir. By the way, what is the name of your racket sir?
I use Astrox 100ZX now💯
What racquet are you using?
Where can I saw high backhand serve?
How can return backhand low serve?
Which racket is using in the vedio?
I see you have victor thruster f. What do you think about it? I’ve been thinking of getting one for ages
It is light weight and somewhat light head. I would prefer it a bit heavier and heavier in the head
i had to watch this for school
Hi guys, thanks for all the great vids! Really helpful. One question on the low serve: On one of ur vids you emphasize the importance of slicing the shuttle (you say that it goes downwards quicker). In this video you do not mention it (although you say something about slicing in the comments). Do you always slice when you serve low (or not) and if yes, how important is the slicing of the low serve? Thanks in advance...
The slice can add more precise serve but tricky to master. Correct the slice makes the shuttle go down after going over the net but the speed must be totally correct orherwise it wont have effect. Try to se what happens with just a small slice, and try to rotate the racket just a bit so the slice is easier. Maybe watch a video of Lee Yong Dae, ha is really good at this shot (with the old service rule😉) Good luck
Great. Thanks for your prompt answer! All the best ! @@BadmintonFamly
Coach, it tough to do it 🙃🙃
